  1. My understanding was that the Night King touching Bran allowed the Night King to locate Bran. It also broke whatever spell kept the dead out of the magic tree-cave. I didn't understand there to be any special magic preventing the Night King from passing through the Wall.
  2. Danerys and her brother were in Essos when the series started. They fled from Dragonstone when Dany was an infant, when Robert Baratheon became king. (And all the other Targareyns were killed.)
  3. Littlefinger wants to sit on the Iron Throne. And he'd like Sansa as his queen.
  4. So much yes to this! Nikki was supposed to confront Varga and give the speech to him. This was just wrong. The writers didn't explain a lot of things, or think that they had to even make sense. I was expecting the opening of the series to tie into something. I interpreted the bowling alley scene as Nikki and Wrench being dead. And then being sent back as avenging angels. On a mission from God. Or whoever Ray wise works for. Having Nikki just be shot and die was wrong. I expected her to confront Varga and then, her mission compolete, to be taken up in some way. Maybe aliens. Shaft of light from the heavens. Something that had some logic. Just sloppy and muddled and not enough respect for the audience to make a story that follows a logic. I don't mind the open-ended ending with Gloria and Varga (other than the fact that Nikki didn't get him), but the rest was a mess. Why have a Spanish-speaking kid lead them to the building? They had the freaking address! No sense. And no resolution to Gloria and her idiot boss Sheriff Eli. The mess with her resigning, then picking up letter, and then apparently moving to DHS without any scene with her and Eli? Unsatisfying. Sad that this is one of the better shows on TV and this was done so poorly. Fargo, come back, but do better.
  5. Yes, we do know that. There were warning "dings" from the car and the engine just cut out. He was clearly exasperated that he was stuck and then that the phone had no service. There's enough crap on this series that isn't explained (like why the car stopped and then re-started fine later, or how Nikki would know about banking files and hard drives, or how she knew which IRS agent to send stuff to, etc.). But we know Emmitt didn't just pull over on the side of the road on his own volition.
  6. I don't think it's a given that anyone will know that it was a suicide.
  7. And remember, Saul told Walter White that he was really a McGill when he was there as Badger's "uncle." So it's not like Saul was keeping it a big secret from people. This was his first meeting with Badger's "uncle."
  8. The closed captioning on the first episode called him "Vargas."
  9. Maybe the angel in the bowling alley told her what she needed to know?
  10. Not only all that, but how would Nikki know who Varga is and have his phone number to call him? Or know where to find his hard disks and bank numbers. Someone else is filling her in on details. Whether that person is of this world or not is the question. (Also, where's the green VW?)
  11. Why didn't Bill ask Nardole where the Tardis is? Wouldn't have made more sense (to her) to take the Tardis out to rescue the Doctor?
  12. There's no way they left the stamp behind.
  13. It wasn't the interrogation room, it was the holding cell. I figure she was just hoping someone would open the door and she could sneak in. Better question is how Winnie knew how to find Emmitt? Varga told them to take the stamp and the frame when his guy was cleaning the crime scene up. Before the police came. So the frame would not be in the police picture.
  14. Or why couldn't the Doctor have something like Facttime that would let someone "see" what he couldn't see and direct him when to stop turning the combination lock. For that matter, a normal keypad he could have done without eyesight.
  15. Also, the Doctor just waved his hands at some computer screens and magically unlocked all military secrets on the planet, but he can't turn off some fans?
  16. No, it's not curious. This is the way the IRS operates. They can always ask for information and you can give it to them. You may think you are following an order, but you are just "volunteering" the information. Unless you know your rights, and fight fire with fire, you risk giving away your secrets. This is the same reason many people say not to ever voluntarily speak to the police without a lawyer present.
  17. Yes. Varga told his minion to remove the frame and the stamp, but leave the glass. So they can frame Nikki. No pun intended. Who actually has possession of the stamp (Varga or Emmitt) I don't know.
  18. Yep. They used "preferred nomenclature" in an earlier episode.
  19. Someone showed up at her door with a gun. Since Mike was with Poseidon in this episode, we can assume the gunman brought Mike from the friend's house. What happened to her? Not shown.
  20. What's up with the mayonnaise jar full of blood? How do they use EZPass to track the SUVs? Did they get plate numbers off of them? How is it that people escape from prison, wash up from a shipwreck and then have local currency to buy snacks at a French cafe?
  21. I don't think that Playah felt that he really had a choice in the matter. When people break into your house and wait for you in the dark, there's an implied threat. I think he's happy to be making some money here, but would have done it just to be left alone.
  22. I think Kim was maybe trying to sabotage her business with Mesa Verde, cause she feels guilty. Of course, the lady from MV loves her, so there was none of that happening.
  23. Exactly. It just has to be nothing. Nothing. It won't save him like the actual medicine does. He could put sugar in it.
  24. Sara flies all the way to Crete to do her magic doctoring skills, which consist of giving him a transfusion of blood?
