  1. There's no need for the suit to zap anything. Just stop giving oxygen and the people will die!
  2. Loved the banter. Story made no sense. Why would the suits need to have energy to kill their inhabitants? Wouldn't the people die if the suits stopped giving them oxygen? I mean, it allowed Bill to be only mostly dead, but made zero sense. I could see a crew of workers coming, not to replace these workers, but to dismantle the mining equipment and move it where it could be productive.
  3. True. Yes, it's supposed to allow the gov't to help track drug and other illicit activity. Of course, if you have a legitimate business that handles a lot of cash, it is a burden. Because if you have transactions (in or out) of $10,000 or more, you invite scrutiny. But if you "structure" your transactions to avoid the $10,000 limit, you get accused of trying to avoid the law. Basically, damned if you do, damned if you don't. Now that I'm thinking of it, the cash nature of the parking business is probably perfect model for this to be trouble. What will the mob think when the IRS comes snooping around?
  4. They used the phrase "preferred nomenclature." Dude, the Chinaman is not the issue! The $10,000 threshold is for reporting to the IRS. I don't see how that really bothers Ray. From the conversation about the desecration of the dog's ashed, Sy and Emmitt already understand that Ray stole the money. You don't need the IRS to tell you that a large withdrawal was made from one of your accounts. Not that it may still end up being important, just that it doesn't harm Ray any more with his brother than he already is.
  5. Didn't they say it was 300 miles across the desert? How far had they gone before their map died? It seemed like them finding the Phaeacia was way too easy. And then Michael crawling there wounded at night? Of course, they could have avoided all that had they simply killed Cyclops when they had the chance in an earlier episode. Never leave ISIS alive. That's a good rule.
  6. Definite Arrested Development homage. This was "Sea Word" instead of "Seaward."
  7. Not only that, but who needs a jacket when it's swimming pool weather?
  8. Thanks. I didn't have my ABC affiliate on my Dish for the last two months. So I have some summer reruns to look forward to!
  9. It's actually a state law here that one must clean off before entering a public pool. Everyone ignores it.
  10. No. Not in my world anyway. When did JTP get another member?
  11. This is the same actor who played Knox Harrington in The Big Lebowski. Never would have guessed that.
  12. Are you serious? Ramal looks exactly like the one puppet used in the South Park movie for an Arab terrorist. He's almost a caricature, a stereotype.
  13. I know it's Ja's phone. I was questioning why they would still have it after being caught escaping. I would think that escapees would be placed in solitary confinement, not put back into their cells. Surely they brought the phone with them for the escape, so i don't see why they would still have it. I guess the show wants us to believe they left the phone behind during the escape and that they were all returned to their cell after the attempt was foiled.
  14. Where does Michael get a cell phone for the final scene? Wasn't he just stopped trying to escape prison? You telling me they don't search a guy who was caught trying to escape? And why didn't Lincoln use the metal shelf bar he used to pry that door open to beat Cyclops? Linc smash! is always fun, but that guy deserved a thorough beating.
  15. The surfer dude knew that she was there to write an article. She even used her expense account to buy him drinks. I think he was just making sure she had a good experience to write about. The thing I find unimaginable is that someone like Hannah would actually have any writing talent. She's too self-absorbed and emotionally stunted. Give me Ray and Shosh.
  16. Not sure what the Medium Place was all about. I wish that worked into the resolution somehow (other than just being a hiding place.) Why couldn't Jason and Janet figure out how to have sex? Jason can't be that stupid. Is it cause she's a robot? ("I'm not a robot.")
  17. It is refreshing to have a series where the ending was planned. So many just wing it on story arcs. That said, I was assuming this was some sort of purgatory. Not expecting the Joe Schmo ending. Not sure what they do with a second season. I'd watch to see. (Hell, I watched the second season of Wayward Pines and that was awful.)
  18. Welcome back, show! "It was on the BBC for 16 years. They did nearly 20 episodes." Ha!
  19. Seeing needy Phil with Jay has certainly been done to death. And I don't think high school kids get to spend $8000 without any oversight.
  20. 'member when this show wasn't so dark? 'member? Yes, there should be a way for Gail to get out of the elevator car through the top.
  21. I think their desire to be "neat" and be able to reference the same date in the show as the original airdate overrode their desire to make sense about the climate.
  22. I assure you that in Philadelphia nobody's grandfather is sitting outside sipping lemonade in December.
  23. They weren't in the scene together. When Dolores realizes the MiB is William she briefly flashes back to her memory of what "young William" looks like.
  24. He was probably getting himself worked up so he could sodomize Hector. Just didn't have the time he thought he did.
