  1. I'm hoping for the Drowning Mona ending, where we find out that everybody killed her.
  2. I feel like we missed a scene where corporate guy tells Liz her felony background isn't a problem and they hire her into the corporate program.
  3. Mike did not go in on the Hummel thing because he does not victimize "innocent" people. Remember, he asked Jimmy what the copier people had done to him (to deserve having their stuff stolen)? I don't think Mike has a problem being shady or illegal, but he does what he does for what he considers honorable reasons.
  4. Yes, this. They could have taken a shirt off and tied her to the bars with it. So dumb. But then again, this show is so smart and funny, so I'll allow it.
  5. I don't know what you mean, and it's making me mad!
  6. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E.T._the_Extra-Terrestrial_(video_game) Yes, the ET video game was so bad that it is infamous. Yes, it contributed to a crash of the video game industry, which didn't really recover until Nintendo came out. Yes, unsold copies were buried in the desert.
  7. My favorite part was when Jason hit the ball with the mallet and then yelled out "Thor!"
  8. I read it as a breakup. Not sure how they get back to normal after that whole scene. He tossed the manuscript to her when she was packing. I assume she put it in her bag.
  9. Russell said he got his wife's Jeep in the divorce. Is it possible that she was the one who shot Gamby?
  10. Yes, something like that. Used to be 26 episodes in a season. Of course, they often cheated and did "clip show" episodes.
  11. I wonder why Michael was not concerned at all about replacing Janet with another. He stole her. He'd have to steal another. Maybe they tightened security after one was stolen?
  12. I love how Ray quotes this to Gamby, and Gamby thinks Ray is encouraging him.
  13. Your post makes me wonder if the entire thing was designed to lead to growth in Chidi. Disguised as torture. So, like this isn't the Good Place or the Bad Place, but Purgatory. If not intentional, it is an interesting effect anyway. Forcing Chidi to choose is probably exactly what he needed. Also, "I do sit in gum a lot" was funny.
  14. Her name "was" Bernice, but nobody wants to fuck anybody named Bernice.
  15. I thought Krumholz was trying to look like Ron Jeremy
  16. They didn't explain anything about the ending. Why did the Andersons give Spencer a pile of money to expand ASM? I can't believe they're going to make another season. This one was awful. They've basically come full circle. Spencer was a nice guy who fixed problems for his NFL clients. Now he's a douchebag. Reggie was a total douchebag and now he's looking to be a nice guy who fixes problems for NFL guys.
  17. This show is running on fumes. Nothing last night was really funny at all. Sheldon is still insufferable. The reaction of two grown adults to the idea that they're having another baby was appalling. I hope this is the last season.
  18. He was trying to pay back the mob the money his brother owed from gambling. The mob then gave him the "opportunity" to have that debt forgiven, and to have "ownership" of his own bar.
  19. Yes, but it will all pay off in the big gang bang grand finale!
  20. Thanks, that makes a little more sense. One line of dialog would have cleared that up.
  21. $8 in 1971 is about $50 today. If that makes you feel any better. A cup of bottomless coffee in the diner was advertised for 15 cents.
  22. I thought Vincent was told, as part of his "deal" to own the bar, that the machine income belonged to the gangsters who set him up. It makes no sense that he would blithely stand there while Frankie breaks into the machines, and later vandalizes them more thoroughly. Maybe the particular Irish gangster didn't have a valid claim on the machines, but he knew that his Italian gangster did. I wish the bits with the gangsters and the lawyers made more sense. I don't know who was meeting with whom and what it means, other than that they have plans for "redeveloping" the neighborhood and want to make sure they have suckers (like Vincent) to own things on paper.
  23. Yeah, that would be fraud. Or akin to fraud.
  24. Also, imagine the nightmare of trying to keep a bunch of ridiculously wealthy young men out of trouble when they play in "sin city." Has this show been renewed? I can't imagine this going on as bad as it is getting. Spencer gets a call from Wayne and tells him "no thanks, I don't want in on the merged offering." Stupid. Just stupid. As it was, he was really bringing nothing to the table in his quest for a "deal" to bring a team he doesn't own to a city where he owns nothing. Why was this joker expecting to get paid? Make it stop.
