  1. I actually thought that's where they were headed too.
  2. Agreed! He's way too dynamic a character to just be Ashley's lapdog!
  3. Random question: When did Sally move from the GP Hotel to the Athletic Club? She's been in town for a few years now, shouldn't she have an actual home/apt by now?
  4. I pegged him right away! Longer hair, but otherwise looked exactly the same.
  5. I'm seeing a middle-school home ec project. Are they serious with this outfit?!?
  6. Except that it wasn't for story purposes- that part actually happened. You'd think that having 15 children would have taken care of that problem, but nope. Plenty of "illegitimate" children apparently, but precious few legitimate heirs, with most of them dying in infancy.
  7. NYC to Auckland: Anyone surprised that they "chose" the house that just happened to be selling mid-renovation? Anyone?
  8. Okay, who was that doing the cameo at the hockey game? He's obviously someone important to the production, but I didn't recognize him.
  9. But the water stain left from washing it off wouldn't show. But I agree with the notion that the water spot on her suit was the least of her appearance problems.
  10. In the weirdness of sexual politics, Hal didn't consider himself cheating. When Dennison's sister made it clear that she was "ready to rumble", Hal told he that he did "everything but cheat". This is after they are already kissing and hugging on each other naked in a pond. Then he went on to (presumably) penetrate her manually, but since it wasn't his penis, it was okay. Made me think of an early scene in Pretty Woman when Julia Roberts' character lets Richard Gere's know that she is basically down for anything he wants sexually, but she would not kiss him on the lips. That, apparently, was too intimate, and a step too far. It's clear that, as roguish as Hal may be, he and Kate are clearly partners. They finish each others' sentences, they eat off of the same plate, etc. The point's been made more than once that Hal has a problem with knowing where the boundaries are. Looks like that extends to the boundaries of sexual fidelity too.
  11. Ugh. Katie decides after some really good sex to ask Carter about Quinn? And when he (rightfully!) doesn't want to talk about it, she decides to push the issue?! It was just so cringey. Katie has always been a woman who gets in her own way. And we all know where this is headed, right? She's finally got a perfectly good guy, and she's going to drop him for Bill, the man who has and will continue to drop her like a bad habit whenever Brooke looks at him for more than 7 seconds. And I need the show writers to know that the "My Katie, My Family, We will be together again on the Stella Maris, because that's what I want", is not romantic. It's the stuff of restraining orders and domestic violence cases. Good grief, I thought we were moving on from Caveman Bill. Sexy Roguish Anti-hero Bill is much better. Give him someone new to be with, not obsess over. I thought they were chem-testing him with Li, and then Taylor. Those went fairly well - even though I really don't like Taylor (but I'll save that rant for another day).
  12. She looked like she was on her way to the company Christmas party. It was just so wrong for a random spring day at the office.
  13. That was brutal. I cried actual tears on this one, and you know we've seen a lot on this show.
  14. I think it was because she knew them when she was a teenager. I get it. When I’m in the presence of someone who knew me as a child, I instantly “revert” to the dynamics of that relationship. They are still “Mr/Mrs So and So”, and they are still “senior” to me, even though I’m a grown woman with adult children of my own.
  15. I've actually read interviews with performers over the years (most memorable being one with Bette Midler, of all people) where they admit to varying degrees of stage fright, even after years of performing. My own take on a case like this would be that performing in a concert setting where you can't really see most of the crowd probably would be less intimidating than presenting in a small group like a classroom, where you can see every single face looking at you. Even moreso when you know that your professor is angling for your failure.
  16. Everything about this plot is just so stupid. I actually stopped watching about halfway through the episode and deleted the rest. I think I've had enough of this show for a little while.
  17. Came to the board to say exactly this! I don't know why the writers waited so long to run this scenario. It would have made perfect sense (and I would have been all for it) months ago, when the actual betrayal happened. All this time later? Sheez, Devon and Abby are practically a little family now, where I actually don't mind the idea of them that much anymore. So, what, Amanda has been off in Virginia stewing all this time, just waiting for an opportunity to come back and play the wronged woman, hissing at Devon and Abby at every opportunity? Does anyone still care? Anyone?
  18. Of course, Sheila will live! This is the show where Finn went from being dead in an alley, to dead in a hospital morgue, to alive in Li's apartment, to having sexxxxy times with Steffy in their living room with nary a bullet hole on that very smooth chest/torso of his!
  19. Was anyone else a little weirded out by Adam and Sharon's scenes today, given their real-life situation?
  20. And this is how we know the writers didn't really think this through. What is the point of this plan? Yes, getting Sheila to confess ALL her crimes on tape would be great, but look how much time and resources have been wasted, when the testimony of three actual victims would have done the trick? Finn: Sheila was pointing a gun at my wife. I stepped in front of her, and she shot me instead. Steffy: I knelt down to comfort my husband. Sheila told me she couldn't go to prison, and then she shot me. Li: Sheila was angry with me. She chased me for several miles, and finally ran me off the road. Prosecutor: Thank you for your testimony. Jury: Guilty Judge: Prison time. This could have been wrapped up months ago.
