  1. I guess Gabi is supposed to be an anti-hero; because Heaven help me, I love the work they're doing, but I can't stand the woman. I'll learn to live with it, though...
  2. Katherine Chancellor, circa 1975 Looks like Jordan (I presume) is taunting Nikki with her stripper past. Thank you! I scream that very thing at the TV every single time. It looks like Lily is FINALLY the person to start to see the sense here.
  3. Wow. Anybody else get borderline abuse vibes from that "Tucker and Ashley in Paris" scene today?
  4. With a good-sized audience, yes. But it sounds like his podcast is new, so it could take awhile. I wonder what it's about.
  5. Watching Jordan "running" from Nick, and Nick "chasing" her was laugh-out-loud funny. I just wish they hadn't done that scene. Smh...
  6. I don't remember the "actual" age difference, but I've always found it funny that if someone were new to the show, they would assume that Nick is older than Victoria. They've been written in the past few years with Nick acting like Vicky's older Neanderthal brother, instead of Vicky being the oldest by more than a couple of years. I think she was practically a teenaged bride to Ryan, so the age difference with Nick is not as large as the episode makes it seem, but I think some SORASing had also occurred. You could probably call Douglas (great to see him again!) Victor's major domo. He was a huge part of Victor's early years on the show. He was very much Victor's right-hand man and sounding board. And yes, that is the same Brad (although the story was later retconned to make Victor Abby's father-- I always hated that they did that). He was married to both Tracy and Ashley. And last, Beth Maitland and Tracey Bregman-- it was nice to be reminded how stunning they were back then. Granted, Beth's/Tracy Abbott storyline was more of an ugly duckling to swan story (and that was clearly her "swan" phase), but...yeah.
  7. What a treat it was to see that vintage episode!! I almost deleted it because I thought the date was 2/2023. A second look showed me it was 1993! It was the most fun I've had with this show in I don't know how long! It also reminded me that I wish there was a way to bring back SoapNet and play all of the soaps from their beginnings. For all the "young'uns" that are just seeing Colleen Zenk for the first time as Aunt Jordan, they can get why all of us "of a certain age" are so excited to see her again, lol! But seriously... it would take some serious inter-network cooperation (and I don't know exactly who owns all of the shows anymore-- the current and the former), but if they could figure out the business plan, introducing a whole new generation to the Age of Classic Soaps (as well as taking the rest of us on a wonderful nostalgia trip) could only be a benefit! Does anyone else remember SoapNet?
  8. I’m also putting in my vote for “Please don’t let Bill turn out to be Luna’s father.” We’ve already had Bill get “surprise” adult kids with Wyatt and Liam— a third time with Luna would not be the charm.
  9. Carter demanding answers about the stupid fashion challenge is so inappropriate. Ridge (as head of the company and Eric's son) made a decision to "give" his father the win. His reasons are his own, and he should just say so. I get that Carter is supposed to be Ridge's friend, but sometimes you just have to know when something doesn't concern you, and back off. Btw, why is Donna being styled like a 50-year-old Barbie doll? She was a sex kitten 20 years ago-isn't it time for her look to grow up a bit?
  10. OOOOOO!!!!!! I see you, Hope! 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Those Vitamin "D" injections from Thomas have turned you ALL THE WAY UP!!!!!!!
  11. Completely agree. I don't know what "game" Victor's been playing, but he asked Nate to act like a doctor, and that's what he did. And for that, he gets fired? Whether Victor gets sent away to a facility, or brings doctors and equipment to his house, he can't be visibly at the head of his company right now. So, Mighty Newmans, what IS the plan? I'm no fan of this smug, self-righteous version of Nate, but he got a raw deal with this. But at least now he can go back to his family fold with his tail between his legs. Swimming in the Newman cesspool was always going to be a lose-lose for him.
  12. I’m with you on that one. Seeing a Cricket/Danny/Phyllis triangle 2.0 does not appeal at all, especially with Danny now looking like a Golden Girl.
  13. You didn't miss it- whatever it was happened offscreen. So far, we've been fed bits and pieces as told by Tucker, and now, Ashley. And I remember some stupid "flashback" scene at what was the high school play equivalent of a Paris cafe, but we never saw a full scene of what went down. All "tell", no "show"
  14. Same here. I thought the speech was a nice setup for the flashback, which was my favorite moment of the episode. It reminded me of the days when Show had a real budget and Eric was designing in an actual workshop, in contrast to today, as he works in his living room. Surely the Forrester Estate has somewhere that he could work without having to drape fabrics and dresses all over the living room furniture?!
  15. CBS/Bell budget woes must be bigger than I realized. But that doesn't mean they have to be so dumb. If you can't afford a temporary office set, they should have had the doctor meet Adam at his condo. Don't have them sitting down going over professional ethics rules about disclosure in the middle of a jazz lounge!
  16. That's EXACTLY what Show is doing. As I've said before, this show does not do subtle, nuanced storytelling at all. Character development is nonexistent; everyone gets thrown into the blender in order to serve whatever story the "writers" have decided to tell this week. This is actually a new direction for Liam. He's been a waffling, indecisive, and thoughtless for years, but this latest stunt he's pulled (leaving that message for Steffy very intentionally throwing Finn under the bus) was new. Liam has never (at least as far as I can recall) done anything so intentionally underhanded and manipulative. Actually, I think Sheila would be very pleased. In Sheila's mind, Steffy is the only thing keeping Finn from developing a relationship with her, so anything that gets Steffy out of Finn's life would be welcome. Especially if Sheila doesn't get the blame. That's how you know this story was made up on the fly. Li was brought onto the show as Finn's beautiful, kind mother. Now she's been turned into the Dragon Lady, completely out of left field, and with a story that makes no sense. Charlie is the Village Idiot of B&B, and after hooking him up with Daffy Pam, I was more than happy at the thought of them marrying and riding off into the sunset forever. Instead, I guess the marriage is in some kind of trouble (that weird phone call), and now he's having weird connection vibes with Esther, the visiting Village Idiot of Genoa City? Why? Actually, Lauren and various Forresters have done several crossovers between the two shows over the years. She's in fashion retail, they're a major fashion house. it makes perfect sense for her to be here; Esther, not so much.
  17. And when Brooke shrieked, " What has gotten into you lately, Hope?!", all I could think was: Thomas, apparently. Well, and often😉
  18. Noooooooo😅😅😅 That was just me speculating on how Claire might be connected to Nikki.
  19. Okay, are we gearing up to a reveal that Claire is related to Nikki somehow? Claire keeps talking about the great aunt who raised her; today Nikki mentions her sister, and Claire "shuts down". Ruh-roh... Nikki and Paul's unknown granddaughter, raised by Great Aunt Casey? A little far-fetched, I know, but I do think there is some connection to Nikki's past.
  20. I do not like it when a woman calls her sexual partner "Daddy". It may be just a personal pet peeve, but it grosses me out.
  21. Show needs to give Tucker something else to do besides spending every waking moment coming up with ways to get back at the Abbotts; running around town snarling and blackmailing people. I'm waiting for Wardrobe to give him a moustache to start twirling. It's getting tiresome. I liked him better as the mischievous rogue who could get under people's skin. That Tucker was fun. And don't even get me started on his pimping out Audra as part of his plans. And her apparent willingness to be pimped out. Just no to all of that...
