  1. Now that would be a really cool twist! So maybe she really did kill him with the frying pan all those years ago, but he's still "living" in her head! I like it!
  2. I wasn't watching the show when Diane was first on back in the day, so I could be unknowingly expressing an unpopular opinion, but here goes... I like Jack and Diane together. They make a dashing, elegant, mature couple. From the comments I've seen from those who know this history better, I guess we're waiting for a shoe to drop where Diane's concerned, but gosh, I hope not.
  3. Seriously! Sparkly attire as business daywear looks fun on big-city fashion editors; in middle-America Genoa City, Wisconsin (not even Chicago)? Not so much. And don’t get me started on those shiny, misshapen frocks they’ve been saddling Audra with lately… Wait a minute. I just realized we used to see Audra in form- fitting clothes and various states of undress all the time, but not so much lately. Did the actress make a life announcement that I missed?
  4. And the sad part is, I really think Show is expecting us to find all of this somehow charming and endearing. I do not.
  5. Oh gosh, A brief memorial to Billy Miller at the end of today's show. That lovely, mischievous smile will be missed... Since the strike seems to be doing weird things with the show anyway, I think it would be a nice memorial to replay a memorable episode (or two) from Billy Miller's run on the show. Billy and Victoria in Jamaica, or their wedding, or maybe his last episode as Billy.
  6. Ugh. Tell me I did NOT just watch Sheila call Deacon “Daddy”. 🤮🤮🤮
  7. Brooke has always been wayyy too "interested" in Hope's sex life. I remember years ago, after Hope and Liam's first successful wedding (I think), Brooke showed up the very next morning to dish with Hope over how things went the night before. It was creepy then, and it's still creepy.
  8. Umm... I thought that Hope locked the door before she and Thomas got busy. How did Brooke just walk in? Not mad at Brooke though, because...office in the middle of the workday.
  9. I just learned about the book when I saw Anderson Cooper interviewed about it this morning on CBS Mornings. I'm fascinated by that period and am looking forward to reading the book.
  10. When one laughing emoji just isn't enough!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
  11. Holy Cow, thank you!! I've always wondered where the expression came from! I mean, I knew you say it to actor before an audition, but I never knew why. So you can get into the cast. That makes perfect sense!
  12. Yeahhhh.... the writers of this show don't do subtle, realistic buildup. They tend to go from 0 to 90 in seconds. You can almost feel the " What storyline can we come up with now?" playing out all the time. So, all of a sudden, Eric is wigging out over a stapler, and pissed that Ridge is sitting at his desk. Eric, everyone in the company sits at that desk, all the way down to Paris (and we don't even know what her job is anymore!). I guess that since they no longer have a rival family to go up against, ala Forrester vs Spectra, now we're going to have the battle lines drawn internally. Ridge and Thomas vs Eric and RJ. Okay, I guess it's something they haven't done before, although Eric as a crotchety old curmudgeon feels weird. And if the Founder of the Company wants to do one last grand finale collection, I would think everyone would welcome it. What is Ridge's sudden rush to show Eric the door? Ridge has been CEO, co-CEO, head designer (all the big titles) for YEARS already, so what would be new? But at least Sheila won't be involved, so there's that.
  13. Is Sharon on drugs? Her delivery in the past several months seems so...sedated and weird; very Stepford Wife. At first, I thought she was trying to play Young and Sexy with a noticeably younger Chance (that's when I first noticed it), but now I realize she's doing this in every scene with any character.
  14. So it looks like Show has finally gotten tired of trying to make Nathan and Faith happen. Thank Goodness, because they were just zzz....... Except, why is milquetoast Goldilocks Faith the one doing the dumping? Tall, Dashing, and Handsome Mountie Nathan is starting to look awfully thirsty, having now fallen for (and been dumped by) Elizabeth, Mei Sue, and now Faith. I've always thought that he and Fiona might make a good match. Wink, wink! Okay, now that Bill (and everyone else) is coming to realize he was duped by the lovely widow, we get this season's Big Bad. Who is this guy, and what nefarious doings are he and his band of sinister-looking associates up to? Don't we go through this every season? Have we seen the last of the widow and her son? So many questions... Is it just me, or does Elizabeth seem more Goody Two Shoes Self-Righteous than she used to?
  15. Dang. I hate to admit it, but Steffy's not wrong about Sheila. She is a psychopath who will not stop coming for Finn. I just appreciate that before she leaves, we got to see Steffy and Finn choose each other.
  16. Okay, I'm confused. Monday, my DVR recorded a repeat episode labeled as new, and today I've come home to watch today's episode and my DVR didn't record anything at all. I guess I'll have to catch today's episode on demand. Did anyone else have this problem this week?
  17. OMG yes! Remember when he first came back to town, he made it so very clear that he stayed away because of all the family drama, and he didn't even want to consider working at FC because of all the family drama. And now I find myself wondering how the youngest adult in the family has become its biggest busybody?! Constantly putting himself in the middle of...all the family drama? Nah. Sheila would just blame it all on Jack. And Finn would buy it.
  18. To be honest, I watched that moment and thought, "That was in the script, right?"
  19. I hereby decree that every episode going forward must have a generous serving of Goldie (I'm glad she finally has a name, because thinking of her as Rosemary's Baby just felt wrong, lol!). She's just the cutest little nugget!🥰
  20. I know I'm a day late on this, but I just watched Tuesday's episode, and I have to say, I'm annoyed. Watching Tessa and Mariah have all the sads because Aria might have hearing loss is okay, but only up to a point. Tessa asking the doctor (with all due stress and guilt), " How did this happen? Did we do something wrong, doctor?" Well, Tessa, how exactly would that have worked? Neither of you gave birth to her, and you just adopted her a short while ago. Unless you beat her in the ears with a baseball bat, there's not likely anything you could have done to cause this, so save your energy for moving forward.
  21. Cambodia: "Space, space, space, space, space, space, space, space, space, space, space, space, space, space, space, space, space, space, space, space, space, space." And then I fell asleep. Which place did they choose? Did it meet Olive's needs?
  22. Whew! I thought it was just me. When she started talking in the park, I wondered if she was trying to do "sexy, smoky voice" with Chance. Then as she continued talking, I started to wonder if she was on some kind of medication, because her speech pattern seemed so off.
  23. That's Floor. I like her too. She and Roz (the older blonde woman) seem to be the main Netherlands HHI realtors now. We don't seem to see the chirpy blonde American (I don't know why I can't remember her name right now-somebody help me out) as much. I've wondered where she's gotten to.
  24. So, it looks like Hope Valley's next life is going to be as a tourist spa town, where la-de-dahs will come to "take the waters". Okay. I can see some storyline mileage coming from that. It's going to be a different kind of show though. Not that I mind.
