  1. Come on people. Do you think any NYPD Dept with 5 people have an office that large? With big desks and tons of space for every one. Also, they have someone with the most sophisticated anti-crime computer system in the State and no one else in the Dept. wants to use him? A real NYPD Detective office.
  2. I liked Sam. Why did they kill him so soon after he joined the show?
  3. Always an interesting choice in shows like this. Absent having everyone speak in Russian with subtitles, do you have them talk with a distracting Russian accent or with an accent from the shows origin country.
  4. I am a little bothered by how man black actors they use. I am all for neutral casting. But in a historical setting, it hinders authenticity. But not enough to ruin my enjoyment of the show.
  5. The Santi might not understand lies and jokes, but they have human agents that do, and can explain the meaning of what is being said.
  6. That is not how it works. They just don't get to put a defense psychologist on the stand. There should be an expert from the prosecution and even an independent assigned by the Judge. And you wait until the end to bring up she was trying to sell the baby? And no, you don't need a search warrant at a murder scene. Also, I can't see the husband not getting the baby immediately. Any Judge would give him custody while it goes through the courts. And if she was just a surrogate for the couple's baby, the birth certificate is a fraud.
  7. They were working at night, Why?
  8. So Detectives, who do investigative work, are SWAT, with full auto weapons? Does their precenct only have 10 cops?
  9. Why didn't Eddie tell Suzy his plan as well as old man Glass. A simple conversation would prevent all sorts of trouble.
  10. Freddy is there for comic relief. Unfortunately he is not funny.
  11. Does he sell it out of a chicken restaurant?
  12. If Nolan is such a good prosecutor, why can I, a non lawyer,, think of questions he should have ask and witnesses he should have call?
  13. My favorite was Mushuginah and Mishigosh, and then "name one Jazz Artist."
  14. Only 20 minutes in, and already up to their stupid plot point quota.
  15. Some geography. NYC and Long Island are both in New York. No State lines. But OCCB is New York City and has no jurisdiction on Long Island. No matter who is involved. This would never be an NYPD case.
  16. More dumb law stuff. The shrink would have been forced to testify, but wasn't for "reasons". And Price doesn't let the witness explain his crimes with him asking, and leaves 8t to the defense, who will be less forgiving. Jack is a better lawyer than both of them.
  17. He had to replace a breaker? Breakers don't blow, they turn off, that is how they work. The cucuit gets overloaded and the breaker trips. You unplug whatever blew it and switch it back on. If the HVAC system is blowing the circuit, the breaker is not the problem.
  18. Local PD investigate Federal Reserve robbery, not the FBI or Treasury, who have 10 X the resource and are actually THE ONES WHO HAVE JURISDICTION! Mob lawyer lady not immediately a co conspirator?
  19. There is a thing called insulation. In a facility designed to be staffed year round, it would be highly insulated. If they closed the doors to the outer part of the building, the center would probably stay warm until the storm past. Or they could build a fire on a concrete floor near an open door in a big cold garage.
  20. Couldn't he just pay the damages for the Lawn Jockey. Save a lotf trouble?
  21. In the old QL you had Sam and Al. They throw all these extra characters in this one and then realize they half to give them all storyline and arcs. Hence this cliche rich baddie thing.
  22. There was almost nothing in this episode I liked. I hated both families.
  23. 20 minutes in and I want this annoying little brat to die.
  24. I am notva a lawyer, yet I knew you don't just let the testimony of Riley stand without redirect. I could also think of a number of things I could ask Riley without destroying his career. Like, aren't serial killers often cool and do not match the behavior of usual murderers
  25. No judge would ever throw out a confession because the suspect might have assumed something. Police are allowed to lie to suspects.
