  1. The ridiculous decision of the judge at least made more sense than most of the ones on Law & Order.
  2. The "let's throw the DA a curve" this week was ridiculous. There was no way the 4th Amendment would hold up, they had a warrant for the phone Max had, ownership would not matter. And no Judge would allow the Defense to accues a witness of that pedophile garbage.
  3. That wrapped up quickly. Seems like it could have been another episode or two.
  4. One more thing. I am not sure, but I believe not guilty based on insanity is decided by the Courts and councils, not by a jury.
  5. While heavy pot use can lead to psychosis in some people, it is still rare. One time pot use leading to a psychotic break is pure fiction and refer madness junk. Was the kid a heavy pot user?
  6. Drug Lord's aren't that hard to catch once law enforcement identifies them. They move big shipments of drugs and have to launder loads of cash. Elijah should be in jail.
  7. Anybody else just zone out when Stabler is talking to the shrink? Interesting case, but worth no more than 3 episodes tops. I doubt they have any restraint from killing some one. It eliminates a witness. They never have enough back up and always leave exists uncovered.
  8. The twist at the end concerning the Lebonese woman could be seen a mile away. They can't seem to have a show without something unfortunate happening. How about just a win sometime.
  9. It was nice and all, but it took 3 long, slow episodes to get here. I am often bored with this season.
  10. After thinking about it for a few days, I'm not happy with the ending. Mike White probably thought he was being clever and ironic having Tanya heroically escape her assassination only to die in a ditzy manner. I didn't find it either clever or ironic, only frustrating. And more so when I realized Greg got away with it and is now filthy rich with Tanya's millions.
  11. I'll hand this to them, they knew when to cut this casino story when it got stale. Lesson learned from the Westley saga?
  12. He confessed, the cops stopped investigating and moved on, there was no one to find the video. His first lawyer was incompetent. But I think in real life they would have gone Man 1 and went for a plea bargain. Especially after they found out he was innocent of the first murder.
  13. Bail Reform is getting criticized, but didn't cause the crime increase. https://www.brennancenter.org/our-work/research-reports/facts-bail-reform-and-crime-rates-new-york-state#:~:text=The Times Union reviewed state,of these%2C 429 cases led https://www.cnn.com/2021/07/07/politics/bail-reform-violent-crime-fact-check Bail reform was scaled back in NY and it was first put in place because most arrested got out on bail and only poor people were kept in jail. Some innocent, incarcerated for months.
  14. Isn't it obvious that Papa Silas, who has friends at One PP, is behind the unit being shut down?
  15. I bet sleazy defense attorneys never threaten to reveal dirt about the cops and the DA office. Redhead-ex is so clever to be the first one to try this. To bad big drug lords can't afford better lawyers or they would all get off.
  16. So the Casino punk doesn't have enough of a story to support a whole season? At least they realize this and are doing a few one or two offs to keep the season fresh. Nothing worse than padded eps that go nowhere, aka season one.
  17. So beat cops now can just spend their day investigating a murder?
  18. Way, way too contrived. And Vaughn just becomes a crazed villain who shoots his own men?
  19. You go to arrest a group of very heavily armed fake cops with just your squad an 9mm side arms? No SWAT?
  20. Some, but overall, serial killers have less than average intelligence. And none of them are Hannibal Lecter, Red John or Rosalind. https://sintelly.com/articles/do-serial-killers-have-high-iqs
  21. Did I say how much I hate the genius serial killer trope. It's so overused and false. Serial killers are not geniuses. They are terribly damaged people who are hard to catch because, they either target people who aren't missed, and therefore go unnoticed, or the killings are so random that there is no connection.
  22. Oh shoot Bailey lived. And that was a very unsatisfactory end to Rosalind.
