Yeah....still very much a stretch....the Smiths were barely known in the USA in 1983 by even the most astute alternative music listeners here...they were barely known in England in 1983.

They were all good to great imo....if I was forced to list best to "worst" I'd go: 1. USS Callister- lot of fun, love Jimmi Simpson 2. Crocodile- very dark in a "good" BM way 3. Hang the DJ-what can I say? I'm a sucker for a love story ala San Junipero 4. Black Museum- interesting concepts but I found it a little muddled 5. Arkangel-it was good but I found it a bit repetitive of other eps in the show 6 Metalhead-as others have said, visuals etc were great but story lacked exposition etc Can't believe I've already burned through all these and have to wait another year or so for more. Not to come off as a "He-man woman haters member" but overall this year seemed a little too female character driven...not a bad thing but a minor nit.

I thought much the same...got the same vibe as that TZ ep...good ep but would have liked a little more world-building to the story

As a middle-aged, white guy, I don't think this ep was in my milieu....it wasn't. Thought the dolphin sketch was weird/funny....overall though (to me anyway) meh.

Angel was the highlight of a very entertaining show imo. I always seem to run counter to the board here....thought this was a very good episode.

There was a mention, by the older brother, of the band The Smiths in Season 1.....set in Indiana 1983, that would be an anachronism imo...The Smiths weren't really known in the States until 1984 and even then, probably by very few. No biggie but it took me out of the scene.

This show so needs strong/funny guys.....the women are so much funnier/better than the guys in the cast right now. Jesus......this is awful....a nursing home/sex scandal? Really?

3 years later (finally watching the last season)....loved how Joe Kennedy ordered a "tonic" which is Boston for soda and/or Coke. Very authentic touch.

Jesus, like others here, I was a glutton for punishment and binge watched most (after watching the first couple live) of this this past week. I highly doubt we'll be seeing a 2nd season of this....just absolute, nonsensical drivel and a tremendous waste of some fairly good actors and actresses. Amazing to me how something so awful like this gets made.

Wow....just binge-watched all 3 eps....this show is very underwhelming

Good call on Testament....haven't seen it in many years but I always thought that was one of the best "nuclear war" films ever made. I've started to have "nuclear war nightmares" again for the first time in over 30 years lately.....very strange....had them once-in-awhile as a teen, 20-something in the 70s and 80s, they basically stopped in the 90s and now they are back again.

Think I'm done watching this show.....when it premieres on Sundays anyway, It just seems to have lost a lot of mojo this year....too bad.

Very well done...if very unsettling in a host of ways.

The mention of the band The Smiths (in Indiana 1983) is probably wrong too. Very few in America knew of the Smiths in 1983....much less people living in rural Indiana.

Maron confirmed today in an email for his podcast that this (4th) season would be the last. Basically saying that he didn't want to "keep making it to make more content" i.e. the story has been told. I've liked not loved this season....wondering if he was pressured to up the yucks for a 5th season and basically said fu? Btw, am I a perv for getting turned on by Dave's doctor gf? Probably.

Continuing in a contrarian view here when it comes to SNL, I thought this was the best SNL ep all year....big Fred fan, loved the musical act etc.

Jesus....that was awful from almost start to finish....the Patriots cold opening bit was decent.
