We actually watched that film in class in middle school/jr high in the mid/late 1970s....different world then. Had the hugest crush on Jenny Agutter growing up.

Is this really the same show from the first couple seasons? It's near unrecognizable as such....

The lack or paucity of "world-building" in this show is starting to get very tiresome....I get it, it's A Handmaid's Tale but it's growing very boring. For me, the best ep this year was easily the Waterfucks ill-fated trip to the Great White North....most of the other eps this season have been rather dull and predictable....ymmv.

Filler episode....sorry if that comes across as harsh but the story-line took, maybe, a half-step forward.

OK...so bear with me...the overriding conspiracy was that Delos Inc. wanted to collect data of all the visitors, yes? Delos and a few others were looking to become immortal as an offshoot correct? Some of the hosts became sentinent and wanted to live outside of Delos? Am I missing, misconstruing anything?

I haven't been this confused since organic chemistry at Holy Cross in 1983.....

Was that the last episode of this season?

Babka actually.....love Hank. Polish nuns, who ran a preschool for us as kids, used to make us babkas.

Still not buying the "struggling travel agency" in the sense that it complicates their lives too much. I have to think the Soviets would want Henry to stay at that prep school, lessen family stress overall etc...it just doesn't make sense to me.

This is how WW2 is taught in Massachusetts' public high schools today.....the Soviet role in the war is given due justice....just saying.

OK, Paige is at GW (with Russian parents) and doesn't know the basic facts of WW2? I know it's often portrayed that the American education system downplays the Soviet Union's role in the Great Patriotic War but that wasn't the way I was taught it in the 1980s. Not buying Elizabeth killing Gronk as easily as she did...maybe if she caught him off guard, maybe.

So we've been in China all along? Interesting wrinkle.

Wouldn't Henry be a better potential asset to the Soviets down the line....ingratiating himself in American power circles etc by going to an elite prep school than Paige is? Just sayin'

Tonight's episode was just hot garbage....... "Black Jeopardy" was ok and Heidi Gardner's "boxer's gf" were mildly funny....just awful overall

1987...one of the last eras before pervasive cell-phone use (though I did see a primitive one in Philip's car I think)....people reading newspapers, books etc....miss that lifestyle actually

The show continues to do a great job with its soundtrack....Crowded House was a great call for the intro into 1987.....having gone to high school/college during this era (1982-1987), they really hit the right tone musically imo

I liked it...Hader is going to be terrific in this I think. Great cast.
