  1. Has anyone else noticed that the beginning (or what ever it's called in terms of music) of 'A Life That's Good' sounds very similar to 'Blues Run the Game'by Simon & Garfunkel?
  2. How does someone get held hostage by his/her stalker and then get in a car accident the same day? The odds are nil. I love Connie and I'm sad that it looks like she won't be in the rest of the show, but sometimes when it's going down, it just makes more sense to leave on a high note. But as long as Hayden doesn't jump ship, I will continue watching. When Rayna came to get Daphne, the first thing I thought about was why didn't Rayna look back at the bed or look at her skirt for stains (sorry for this graphic image)? I know that things didn't trickle down as of yet when she was at the house but I would think as a mother, the thought would just occur that if your daughter has not begun menstruating yet and all of sudden doesn't feel well one morning. But maybe I just feel that way because they gave us that scene and it would have to mean something important. Maddie: please correct yourself and lose your Trent D' Arby boyfriend or Go Fish. Scarlett: Go Fish. Please remove yourself from my screen. Thank You.
  3. Yeah, it looks we only get SoulPatch (Carlos Bernard) back. I can't remember what happened to Kim (Elisha Cuthbert) but if they bring her back, I am not watching.
  4. I still cannot get past the lack of romantic chemistry between Regina & Robin (or Lana & Sean) and between Emma & Hook (or Jennifer & Colin). I believe Sean and Colin are miscast. And then they die but the writers just keep bringing them back. I think the writers need to resurrect their brains instead of those two, then maybe this show will die with some dignity. I also cannot understand why everyone has to have a romantic interest. I get that it is a significant part of the traditional fairy tale or happily ever after, but it's just too much.
  5. Another article: https://www.yahoo.com/tv/connie-britton-nashville-s5-cmt-hulu-150041603.html I think most tv shows struggle when they give the leads less airtime or write them off. I watch this show for Connie, Hayden and the chemistry between all of the actors. So, if that goes away, then it is pointless for me to watch.
  6. As more facts are revealed about Lochtegate, the more ridiculous the whole situation becomes. A single green pea the size of Lochte's brain started rolling down a hill and became a boulder.
  7. I'm sad to see it go. Simone Biles should have been charging people for those pictures. For me, four years is a long time. I wish it was every 2 years instead (with Greece alternating as host, then a different country every four years). But then I guess you would have see more of the same athletes who stick around too long.
  8. This olympics has had just enough scandals to keep me interested. I'm glad that nothing worse (i.e. Terrorist attacks) happened.
  9. I guess I don't have too much to complain about this time around. My only concern was the gymnastics coverage. My memory is not that great and I love the Final Five, but I feel like they didn't show enough of the other countries. Or maybe it was because the others weren't that much competition in the first place? This was the first time since Atlanta that the time zone difference has been really small, so it was nice watching some of the events live. I guess with Tokyo, I will be watching most of the events on TV after reading about them online. I can stream internet to my TV but it is easier for me to watch something recorded/recording. Lastly, Bob Costas is getting up there. Watching the Olympics without him is going to be like New Year's Eve without Dick Clark. Please don't tell me they're going replace him with Ryan Seacrest. Please. Say it ain't so.
  10. Just caught up on some events, including the women's 10,000; I must say Almaz Ayana did an amazing job. Also, being superficial for a moment: all three medalists ((Gold: Almaz Ayana (Ethiopia), Silver: Vivian Cheruiyot (Kenya) and Bronze: Tirunesh Dibaba (Ethiopia)) are some of the most beautiful women I have ever seen.
  11. I also look at the medal counts excluding swimming (and will do the same for all of the track and field races when they start). I find it useful when I want to see which countries win the most medals in a variety of different sports.
  12. Funny, this show probably would not be on my radar if it was originally on CMT. I have always received the channel but I don't listen to country music regularly. I hope Connie and/or Hayden don't jump ship too early. They are the reason I love this show.
  13. I came here to read up on my favorite show only to find it cancelled. I hate how fickle networks are these days, they always want something for nothing. Of course it's going to cost a lot to produce, it's an awesome show. one bad season shouldn't be a determining factor. And even if Hayden needed to take time off, the rest of the cast is pretty stellar, I'm sure they could make do. They even brought in new writers. It just sucks.
  14. I can believe the Gretchen love; I'd like too see her back too , I think producers would want either without slade altogether or married to him. If she seriously wants to have kids, she needs to make those hard decisions. On a side note, I remember pre-Andy Bravo when it used to be all about showing cool stuff like Run Lola Run. My how it has changed, lol
  15. Watching this now on Hulu, on season 3 so far. So many interesting things in retrospect - getting to see the housewives real friends; getting to see a lot more of their family; not so much over the top stuff (i.e. Laurie's & Georges bday party for their daughters). I must say that I now understand why I couldn't stand watching OC when it originally premiered: most of the young adults were such assholes. I was the same age at the time and my parents would have killed me if acted that way. But anyway my favorite thing is the cheesy porn music they play when the ladies are being naughty.
  16. Awesome, Thanks, I didn't know about that, interesting. To add to my doomed ship wish, maybe they could do something with the Bermuda Triangle also. Conventional ideas I know, but I think Ryan & Co. could spice it up.
  17. American Horror Story: Titanic/some doomed sea vessel pre 1940 and must cast Evan & Taissa (as a couple please), Jessica, Sarah, Lily, Frances, Jamie & Naomi And If they could Kevin Spacey to be in it, that would be awesome.
  18. I think this finale and season has finally made me over this show (which is a good thing because was becoming too obsessed). I will now binge watch all seasons because the episodes aren't strong enough on their own (with the exception of eps 8 &9) My biggest complaint with this episode is that I don't know who is really dead and all of loose ends. Since scifi/fantasy/magic is involved, I need to see a dead body. I mean we don't even know if Drogon is dead for christ's sake. And what the hell happened to Margaraey? I also don't like the introduction of new characters when they make original ones take a back seat. All of Dorne was a waste, especially with a show that has 10 m hours (even less actually) per year. We also saw too much of Jorah, Brienne and Arya all though I love them all - the point each character made did not deserve that much screen time. Even the dragons are not getting enough screen time. It reminds of Terra Nova on Fox - a show about dinosaurs but only 1 or 2 eps featuring actual dinosaurs. I don't care how much it costs HBO (they owe it to me for canceling Rome), I want more dragons. I also want to not go through entire seasons without seeing ALL of the remaining Starks. And I want to see Osha and the beautiful direwolves. Ten seconds of ghost is not enough. Also, I will miss hearing Stannis' name. Stannis Baretheon is an awesome name.
  19. Thanks for the info Shanna (saves me from re watching everything)
  20. Does anyone remember if they have featured any Arthurian legend or anything from Camelot yet in any episode/season?
  21. Yes, thanks, I agree, I mean I don't like them in these roles.
  22. I wish they could get rid of August and Zelena forever. I don't like their characters or the actor or actress.
  23. Surprised that no one is watching this. I've enjoyed it so far. although most of the situations are implausible I like the overall idea. It kind of reminds me of the seasons of 24 that sucked - some things were completely ridiculous and would not happen but it was fun to laugh at. I guess the only thing that kind of annoys me is that Odelle hasn't at least spoken to a family member given as many times she's gotten a hold of a phone. If you have a hint that the government hasn't got your back or worse tried to kill you wouldn't call family first or even second? Wouldn't you also call a cell phone and not a land line in case someone isn't home?
  24. American Horror Story does it incredibly well. As long as the actors and actresses have range, their previously role doesn't factor into the current one. I loved the finale and overall, the whole season. I hope they don't change the mood next season for better ratings or to appeal to the masses. I think the writing is pretty much close to a masterpiece.
  25. I loved Aubrey's lie - it was completely unpredictable but yet completely characteristic of a drug addict who is in a hand basket to hell. I also loved how Barb pointed out to the fiancé that he might be marrying based in her skin color. I love everything about this show - its grittiness, the wonderful acting portraying people who have no light at the end of the tunnel, no shiny happy person in sight; everything. That said, it will probably be cancelled. I'm surprised they put a show this depressing on ABC. I also love every scene with the prosecution and the criminal lawyers. It shows how great yet how Imperfect our justice system is.
