  1. I feel bad for Alan, Carrie Ann really put him on the spot about Hannah being insecure and then he just agreed, with Hannah standing right next to him. Ugh. Calling the girl insecure on national tv is not helpful. On his insta this morning he basically apologizes for saying it and that he's not good at public speaking. I'm guessing Hannah was not amused (and rightfully so). Carrie Ann calling her out in the group dance for suddenly making a huge change in her dancing and Hannah was like, it felt like any other dance. I think producers have made a huge mistake in not letting us see their dancing "journeys" this year. They've gone personal with sob stories, but we're missing out on what its like to practice each week. Who knew that Lauren had broken ribs from the beginning? Hannah's feet have been swollen so much that she couldn't dance at a friend's wedding this weekend and was asking on insta for recommendations on how to help her feet. It also feels like many of the pairings aren't actually friendly. Whitney and Kell still appear to be strangers this far into the competition. Which is odd for Whitney, who's everyone's friend usually. There's a really lack of chemistry in the pairings, even with James and Emma and James has chemistry with a brick wall, so it makes no sense. It's like no one, the stars, pros or hosts are having any fun anymore. The season did start out hard with unexpected firings, I still wonder if Keo and the other pro without a partner had partners that dropped out before the announcement was made. Why hire someone totally new as a pro and not give them a partner?
  2. It’s all political, the President is actually tweeting for people for vote for the good Christian. I know a lot of good Christians that would be upset that he was using a oujia board in that haunted house bit.
  3. Why are they being mean to a Hannah? She’s a middle of the pack dancer, not the worst. I’m so glad she reminded them she’s not a performer, a year ago she was dating a guy who was dating 20 other women, now she’s on minute 14 of her fame, give her a break. Sean will make it to the finals, they will have to change how the winner is chosen so he can’t win. The camera must’ve cut away during James’ mess up because there was no replay to show the viewers at home.
  4. If Jana wants someone who's "established" that means that she's seen her parents initial financial struggles (growing up wearing used shoes and clothes, surviving off of tater tots) and her siblings--Jessa still in the mold house, Jill living in central America scared to death, Joy living in a trailer and construction sites, the Josh and Anna scandal. Jana's had a front row seat to all the drama. I don't blame her for wanting to avoid the "struggle." Love unfortunately, doesn't work that way, so while she may be holding out for love AND security, it may not work out how she thinks it will. The kids sure are given differing circumstances. Is Jinger the only one to have broken away with some tv money? Maybe Jill too? Everyone else still seems dependent on the compound. The way they dole out houses is odd too. Joe seems to have ended up with the best house, while Jessa's is still the worst.
  5. Sailor did not take that well, poor girl. I thought she was the better of the two but I’m sure they kept Ali because she’s “famous” vs. Christie Brinkley’s daughter. Spicer will win, they won’t let the judges choose the winner. They are looking at another Bobby Bones scenario.
  6. I think she’s moved off the farm, why else would she be there but not “really” be there? She been there every weekend so far, maybe by selling her interest, she’s out of pumpkin season too?
  7. Is it possible that they’ve lost their show “programmer”? Hallmark has been in chaos since Lori’s scandal broke and I think we are seeing the ramifications of that in all this disorganized programming. Perhaps she was more involved at the network than When Calls the Heart and her mystery show. They would’ve also had her slotted for a Christmas movie and she’d done the HMM Christmas countdown for years. They could’ve slotted many other actresses into those roles or even brought in new ones! In other news, I thought the Good Witch movie was pretty good, though it clearly seemed like it was supposed to air next weekend with the dates they used in the movie. I DVRrd the series this summer and still haven’t been able to get through this season.
  8. Me too. Watching last night only cemented it for me that this cast is not exciting and that the best dancers would in no way be the best dancers in past seasons. The show seems to be working hard to down play the popularity of the dancers themselves. The only refer to them by their first names now. Spicer will never end up in the bottom 2 so unless they change the rules again, he'll make it to the final. I can't imagine they'll let the judges actually choose the winner. I found Disney night to be a disappointment and more than anything just a commercial for movies they've either got coming out or going to streaming. I know the dancers worked over night for 2 nights a Disneyland, but I didn't find the opening all that worth missing 2 nights of sleep for them. None of the dancers seem to have chemistry with their partners. There's no behind the scenes stories beyond Christie's arm. Boring.
  9. What is going on with Hallmark? Basically 1 fall themed movie? Good Witch doesn’t count because there’s one every year for “Halloween.” Where did the other fall movies go that were already filmed? Will they really sit on them for a year? Ugh
  10. I thought James was wildly underscored, he deserved 8’s at least. I like Karamo’s dancing and can’t figure out why they are scoring him so low. He’s way better than the worst dancers. I’d say he and Kate are dancing at the same level. The country singer continues to underwhelm. The judges will end up having to take out Sean. The show has certainly become a barometer for how voting works in the US.
  11. Seriously. Theme of the season, Sandy the lurker. Those tables looked like high school a prom committee dumped stuff on a table and called it a day and Sandy loved it. Shouldn’t the table be about the food vs the cheap decor?
  12. First, why is Sandy in every scene? I expect her to come of the bathroom in Jack and Aesha's room next. Why did Aesha go to Sandy instead of Hannah about the white glove service? And, for someone who's watch the table, how did Sandy not know they didn't do "white glove" service. I wonder if she even knows what that is? There's no way they had the staff to pull off that kind of service. I don't think Joao was talking back or being disrespectful to Sandy. He already knew (and presumably the engineer or 1st officer had already checked in with the deck crew about the jet ski) by the time Sandy showed up they knew the spark plug was not the problem. Then after it's not the problem and she's observed them she tells them the ski is broken for the rest of the season. Really? And that they were so disrespectful. Whatever. She was late to the party and was mad when she couldn't be the main event.
  13. Seriously? Table decor? The food is good, all the water toys are out so we’ve got to worry about the TABLE??!!!
  14. Did they fire their camera operators from last season like they did some of the dancers? So much shaky camera work and the lighting was awful too.
  15. My guess is that next week Jess and David break up because they can’t decide on a “theme” for their inn. A couple breaks up every episode so they’re next I guess. Megan and Mick will probably reveal their relationship in the last episode to the whole family? As for Abby and Trace...run Trace run! There is seriously something wrong with her. She is out of work, has all the time in the world, he’s given up his career for her “again.” And she can’t bother to have a conversation with him that lasts more than 2 minutes? I wonder if the season is shorter because of Megan’s pregnancy?
  16. Why is Sandy in every scene hugging her employees? Cheers to Ben for continuing to work with that nasty burn. I would guess he’s used to burns but that looked particularly painful. Whats up with the rough seas? I’d be sick and ticked if I wAs a guest. Did Ben turn Hannah down or something? She’s had it out for him since she saw him walking to the boat.
  17. I also get the impression that Trace didn’t know in the first episode of the season that he and Abby were broken up again? Does the guy never call from the road? FaceTime people. Their lack of communication is ridiculous considering all the talk that go on on the show
  18. So it’s a six episode season...three episodes are left. Trace has the girl at the bar, Abby’s got the school teacher. Really? The other siblings are just annoying, do sibs really hang out that much together?
  19. It is funny that he hired the backyard sod project out but wants to run a farm...or at least live at one? I think he's seen how his dad "runs" the farm and its not through any physical labor on Matt's part because he simply can't. Jer probably thinks running a farm is telling farm hands what to do. The fact that pumpkin "season" is literally 8 days a year probably doesn't reinforce the need for hardwork all year around. Zach isn't a full time worker either, right? Molly's the only one with a "job." Don't Izzy and Jacob live with Amy and Jacob is a "writer." It would be funny if Jacob ended up with the farm (since he's really never left) after all of Jer's talk of being a farmer.
  20. Yes, thanks, it's been corrected. I don't have anything to say about Naomi🤷‍♀️
  21. Cam is not going to leave the show, she's the greek chorus and the money is too good. She's not driving that Mercedes because of her real estate career, its show money. She wants to be financially independent from her husband whom she's always afraid is going to leave her, yet all the man seems to want in live is more children with her. It was interesting that she was waffling on her stance of not having more kids. I'd like to see Danni have a nice storyline, she should be interesting being an artist but she's always been relegated to the background and this year even humiliated. Shep has anger issues, I'm guessing a girl (who reminds him of Madison) long ago dumped him and set him on the path he's on now. He's got money and fame and no one to share it with, that must be devastating for a social guy. Eliza was sure a non starter. I'd look for her to be back because they need her plantation as a backdrop. She offended Kathryn right away and then we only saw her for hosting parties. What is Craig up to. Has he really given up on dating because of Naomi? I thought the Adderall addiction revealed a lot, he really does need counseling.
  22. The cold food issue is so bizarre. Maybe the boat is really cold and they have to walk through several rooms to get to the table? I was glad they showed Ben with the pan he'd plated and the pan was still hot and not on the burner. That has to be the worst kitchen they've ever had on a yacht. It looks like half the size of the others and then the stove doesn't work? Induction burners do only work if the proper pan is on them, so they may shut off each time he lifts the pan for a toss? Ben seems way older than everyone else. Maybe he's just matured a bit. He's certainly over yacht chefing.
  23. I don’t watch this show but did notice that Sara only took 2 weeks of maternity leave after having her 3rd baby. I can’t imagine how hard that must’ve been physically. She must’ve been fearing for her job considering that the article points out the Keke was the co host while she was out and they offered her a deal to stay.
  24. Summer Romance with Erin Krakow had beautiful scenery. I also thought she and Ryan has great chemistry but there were at least 3 instances where the characters should’ve naturally kissed and didn’t. It was really awkward. And then the actual kiss at the end was awkward. Dear Hallmark, we’re adults watching a romance, it’s ok for characters to kiss more than once in your movies without being engaged first.
