I think it’s just part of the drama. Tori isn’t having to teach and sells stuff on her instagram, Zach would have years of tlc money and he bought that house before they were married. They had enough income to qualify for the mortgage so I think the storyline about 2 mortgages is silly. It’s a sensible conversation to have, but Zach and Tori aren’t in a typical financial situation for someone their age. That new house is more on par with Jer’s house.

The thing is, Chris has never been married and I can’t see Amy moving anywhere with him without a ring. Chris doesn’t seem to live at the farm and he might like his own space. With Amy and Karen, it must’ve been earth shattering for Amy to see someone she would’ve trusted with their business have an affair with her husband and essentially have to keep paying her and have her involved in family gatherings even after she found out. Matt just sucks.

It’s also odd that they aren’t addressing Jer and Auj being off the show this season.

Matt doesn’t want out of the farm, he wants Amy off the farm so he can move back to the big house and do whatever he wants. I doubt either one of them has the money to buy the other out. It is interesting that Karen is gone...maybe she watched the show and saw how insecure she made Amy? The thing with the farm is, it’s not just about Zach and Jer, Molly and Jacob would have a day too. I would assume the kids would inherit equal shares. There’s way too much bickering between Zach and Tori... I’d say a long time with how bitter Amy is about it. Rightfully so.

Why are they leaving Ember behind though? Couldn’t they have brought someone along to watch her while they work a half day?

The problem the network is facing is that the entire season has been filmed already. They wrapped back in December. There is no way to recast the role without refilming the rest of the season which isn’t going to happen. They don’t start filming the new season till August. I think if this had happened in May they could’ve easily written her off the show along with Cody for the next season. Maybe she left for a life with Pastor Frank or something. The problem is, the season just started and she’s a prominent part of every episode. I’m sure advertisers don’t want to be associated with her either and that’s why they’ve pulled the plug...for now. I wonder if they might push the premiere of Good Witch up to fill the space and then burn off the rest of the episodes in the summer.

I wonder if the network would’ve acted so quickly if WCTH wasn’t currently airing.

I wonder if they’ll even show the remaining episodes? I would think advertisers might have a problem with her still appearing and it’s not like they are going to be able to edit her out. I’m glad Hallmark made the decision but I would guess that advertisers had as much to do with it as consumers.

Honestly, I don’t really care about the scandal. If this was a heavy news week this story would’ve died already. Rich people buy their way into things all.the.time. Whats slightly interesting about the story is that Lori and her husband truly wanted the girls to go to college because it’s something they weren’t able to do. The must feel like they missed out on that experience. Of course, the girls could’ve cared less. I think this will have an effect on the network perhaps more people watching or not.

So Air Supply was brought in so we wouldn’t have to listen to Cassie pretend to love Colton anymore? She has to make a video to say I love you? Dude, you are stupid.

Watching the second episode...I fast forwarded through all the Bill cave scenes, is anyone watching to see Bill and his friend walk through a sketchy mine? I appreciate that they are trying to keep Jack’s memory alive with the baby meeting his horse, Elizabeth riding out to their land and Bill finishing Jack’s last case. I’m also ready for the show to move past Jack. I was bitterly disappointed when Dan decided to leave and I’ve not watched the death episode but the fact is he chose to leave a successful show. Rather than put hundreds of people out of work, the network chose to keep it going. I think it’s moving on well but a Carson and Faith romance is not going to save it. Elizabeth will need to be paired with one of the new guys by the end of the season.

Has it ever been determined that Colton actually wants to lose his virginity? He seems to have no game, even his kisses are bland. Cassie is not in love with him and she’s more worried about what her dad thinks than what her feelings are for Colton? Tayshia seemed annoyed. I would guess she’s doing the math that he’ll only “go to the next level” with one of the three and it’s not her.

So, the new saloon owner is hot and had some nice chemistry with Elizabeth. I can only guess he and the new Mountie (whenever he shows up) will be vying for her heart. The problem though is that even though it’s been over a year since Jack “died”. It’s been only 3 episodes for the audience. I’m guessing we won’t see a kiss or almost kiss until the season finale. Why did they have to kill Jack off again? Because Dan wanted out to do nothing? Carson and Faith as this season’s it couple isn’t going to be that exciting.

I just want to know if Albert’s assistant married the old duchess’s niece from last season. How is it that we never find that out? I don’t care about the Duchess and the footman. There’s no way she’d leave for America to be penniless with a guy she’s been with twice? And leave her son? The Queens dresser just bugs, I can’t believe that Victoria would keep her on even with poor Skerrit’s recommendation. Theodora was not a good villain but Albert completely fell for her act? Binge watching today I was astonished at the number of times ALBERT told Victoria the most important thing to her was that her subjects adore her. Like that’s a bad thing? The wacky jealousy he and her sister had was dumb. Im guessing Albert’s collapsed from exhaustion and the stomach issue he was afflicted with?

Agreed. Married for 21 years here, I can’t imagine journaling about the state of our marriage with my husband at all let alone everyday. They need hobbies (or jobs!) away from each other. It’s clear Jer doesn’t know who he is or what he wants to be besides Auj telling him he’s a farmer (with no farm and cutting the grass at his parent’s houses doesn’t count as farming). He doesn’t even mow his own yard. Auj has a clearer path, she’s an entrepreneur and desperately wants to be a religious mentor to young women. Jer is just along for the ride. One day Jer will tire of the picking at marriage and Auj will wake up and realize she does all the work at work and family.
