This has got to be the most unprofessional law firm in the history of the world! Every single day someone comes close to breaking privilege, Donna runs the place however she sees fit because they let her, and the named partners are always in a panic about losing clients. And what was with that guy from the law clinic acting like Mike was his own personal servant. Isn't he a lawyer? If he can't do the job, then he needs to find another line of work.

And I'm pretty sure she put it on. If she wears it in public and someone recognizes it........oops!

But if Craig quits right after the heist, the police are going to make him suspect #1. I'm not sure he realizes that, he's not really much of a deep thinker. The bar for Cody family child care has been set VERY low! I think he does love her, but surely Lena deserves some stability and a home without so much danger. What if she'd been at Smurf's when Javier and the gang showed up?

A quick Google search gave me this answer: Where it freezes in the winter, the land contracts and expands and will literally heave the foundation of a house up. Builders in those areas have to take the foundation well below the 4-foot frost line level to anchor it. Read more: http://www.city-data.com/forum/california/267063-how-come-california-homes-have-no.html#ixzz4loF2qCZA So basically, builders don't need to spend the money on sinking footings below the frost line.

I liked the kitchen reno in this latest house, and I liked that green island. I just didn't like them in the same room. Christina was right when she said they were 2 different styles that didn't really go together. Off topic: I've been watching Nashville Flipped on DIY and it's so refreshing to see vintage renovation at reasonable prices with no drama.

My on-screen guide lists "Prom Dress Problems" for tomorrow, but also says it originally aired on 11/09/16. -
Michael McKean has said in a NYTimes interview that Chuck is definitely dead, but he might be back next season in flashbacks. Of course, the show runners can always change their minds. I think what Jimmy did for Irene was very sweet; he sacrificed a quick payday and his own reputation with the elders so that she could have her (fair-weather) friends back. He embraced his inner con-man to help someone else, when he could have just shrugged and walked away.

I have been looking for this place my entire life! Peggy Bundy would have kept herself in much better shape and shown a more refined fashion sense. -

With regard to the 2nd case, here's an exception to the rule that the driver who rear-ends someone is always at fault: Many years ago I was driving my very first new car on a fairly busy suburban road. The van in front of me suddenly stopped with no warning or discernible reason. I had no problem stopping because I was a reasonable distance behind him. But then he backed up and into me! Apparently he had missed the business he wanted to turn into and decided to go in reverse without bothering to check if anyone was behind him. Of course the cops were called and the van driver tried to tell them the accident was all my fault. They didn't believe a word he said and wrote him a ticket. -

Doug was absolutely correct when he said the first case was a mess. Despite the tears and indignation, everyone involved was more interested in airing their filthy laundry on tv than doing right by the children (who are going to need some serious therapy SOON). -

A slightly different "B" word popped into my head and I'm sure you can guess what it was! What a horrible creature.....she doesn't even deserve to be called human. -
I think she was angry at Jimmy's refusal mostly because it would cause her to feel guilty about leaving Chuck and going off on her concert tour. Chuck needs help, but she's certainly not giving up her career to take care of him: that's Jimmy's job. Howard's relationship with Chuck was very touching in this episode; maybe he very gently encouraged him to seek help and that led to the journey downtown.

Concerning the dog in the " stress-induced foreign accent" case: I like to think the dog's name was withheld to protect the innocent victim in that situation. That woman has no business having a baby, and strikes me as the kind of person who would put her baby up for adoption and then try to get it back 3 weeks later. -

Yeah, I'm finding it hard to get through this one also because the plaintiff, a career welfare mother with 4 "autistic" children, is making me SO ANGRY. It feels awful to be so judgmental, but I bet her kids are only autistic because it nets her more money. And if you're living in a shelter why are you giving away thousands (!?) of dollars? -
I have no siblings so this is just a guess, but I think it's similar to children who have abused by their parents and still love them and want their approval. Some people just can't accept that such a close blood relative would hate them and want to cause them harm. Jimmy had a kind of innocent sweetness to his feelings for Chuck, feelings that Chuck has thoroughly stomped on and tossed in the garbage.

I feel the same way; this season had too many moments where I wondered if the director fell asleep or what. I loved the first 2 seasons and started reading the books after watching; now I prefer the stories as told by the author because they have more depth and detail, especially the Holland case. I like that Bosch is still trying to find his mother's killer; that's a pivotal event of his life and one of the reasons why he's a cop.

The Judge must need glasses, because plaintiff was.......plain and not exactly built like Sofia Vergara. -
A lot of this season just isn't making much sense to me. It can't be that hard for the police to find a French translator, and Madding Crowd is right about the hospital not treating Gabrielle without taking a history. Regina King's character is depressed and ready to quit her job, but she's desperate to have a baby? She's smart enough to know that's a bad idea. No sympathy for Jeanette's sister; if you know you're going to be drug-tested by 4 different agencies and use drugs anyway, maybe you shouldn't have custody of your kids. Jeanette herself seems pretty slow on the uptake; she's been part of that farm family for years but just now sees what's been going on? Her brother-in-law gives a bunch of reasons why he can't help her, but she just sits there gaping at him? This season is such a mess I find it hard to care about any of the storylines.

Yep, Jimmy's a "deep roller" and craves the action; writing all those wills must really be getting to him. I think it really galls Chuck that Jimmy can do so many bad things and still be loved and forgiven, and Chuck has made it his life's obsession to change that. Anyone else who gets hurt along the way should have known better; after all, Chuck has been trying to show the world the "real" Jimmy for years. To me, the biggest sign of Chuck's mental illness isn't the electrical phobia; it's making his own brother his White Whale.

And this makes me wonder what the police would think about getting involved in a brother vs. brother situation that is more domestic dispute than anything else. Would a DA want to take this to court? Maybe the case is heard in civil court and Chuck concedes that he will drop the charges if Jimmy drops the McGill name. If only Chuck wasn't such a vindictive asshole and recognized Jimmy's people skills, they could do great things together.

I liked the way Doug suggested people thought she was acting stupidly. That man is so charming he can call them stupid without them realizing what's going on! -
I have never hated a fictional character as much as I hate Chuck. Kim's crisis is a combination of self-doubt and guilt over what Jimmy did to secure Mesa Verde as a client. I hope Ernesto doesn't buy Chuck's bull. Ernesto is not a lawyer, and there's no personal assistant/client confidentiality.

Abe was given the job of security manager for the compound, so it would seem a reasonable part of his job to be searching everywhere except maybe individuals' living spaces. And even there, how much privacy can there be in a communal living situation? I feel absolutely no sympathy for Cal or Sarah: he's a murderer and she's a blackmailer. They're both despicable and parading around like they're so spiritually evolved. Their dual speech was pretty funny though: all those deluded people smiling and nodding over what was basically the Beatles' All You Need Is Love.

Did you mean that when she was in To Die For, Nicole Kidman sounded like Meg Ryan? Because Ryan was not in that movie.
