  1. I am enjoying this season even less than the first one. The writing has actually gotten worse which is quite an achievement. It would please me if Cecil and Danioni killed each other. Good riddance. The Nish actor should stick to his other show which is much better.
  2. For years I have been thinking I will read this news one day soon. It could have been natural causes. He was in very poor health.
  3. What a psycho Miss Minutes is! The joy in her eyes while the rogue hunters were brutally killed was deeply disturbing. The actor who plays "Bradley" is terrific, you can read every emotion in his face but he never over-acts or chews the scenery. My guess is the TVA did not get destroyed, it got reset to factory settings. Excellent episode, two left to go, lets hope they can stick the ending.
  4. It's the same actor. You know the writing wants us to believe the husband is some flawed rascal who Bella should forgive and want to be in the same room with. After how he physically abused her the answer should be never! The writing on this show sucks!
  5. I don't know him and have no idea which way his trial is going to go but I am very familiar with the type of theater actor he is - he is only interested in show-boating and himself, never mind the other actors and his scene partners. I am sure we are supposed to find him charismatic, I am finding him tiresome. Miss Minutes is much more interesting and scary to me.
  6. They robbed us of the sight of Loki and Mobius riding the tandem.
  7. I know the creators had originally hoped for more than 3 seasons. So this statement by Stuart sounds diplomatically making lemonade out of lemons. Netflix is known for canceling series after 3 seasons for cost reasons, after 3 seasons they have to pay the talent more, etc. etc.. The show would have had to have been a big hit to go on and the ratings were decent but not spectacular. At least they had notice of the non-renewal so hopefully that will mean a somewhat satisfying conclusion.
  8. I hope we are going back to more Loki centric soon. I watch this show for him, not a fan of Kang variants chewing the scenery.
  9. I am not happy with who went home. It should have been Rowan or Dan. Allison is a great co-host and there is genuine joy in Noel again.
  10. I see people have asked for a series like this about Fleetwood Mac. Yes to that. Now that almost all members of "The Band" have passed someone should do a series about them. You know real music history being made. The Band was storied when they were still together back in the day. Real rock music legends loved them. Though good luck finding people who could evoke even a smidgen of the voices of Rick Danko and Levon Helm.
  11. I see the abusive husband is still around, things would be much improved if someone offed him.
  12. This in combination with how they have written the senior female detective this season on Professor T makes my teeth grind.
  13. Grins, well the physical counts for a lot with males. I don't get it either, her character is so under-written - why her? I was thinking it could be simply as a British show filming in Amsterdam they may have to hire local talent in a prominent speaking role.
  14. I assume it is because he discharged an illegal fire arm. I have found that most democratic countries including the UK have very strict gun laws. It's not your automatic right to have or use a gun. It's not like the US with its gun culture. Have you noticed that when one watches UK police dramas the police announce themselves with "armed police"? I think they have to say that by law when they come in armed. Because not all police are armed with guns.
  15. I like him too and I am glad he wasn't on the make. This was my favorite episode.
  16. I hope they don't kill her off, Piet is already too much on the broody side he will be unbearable if she gets offed. Let them discover what is clear to the rest of us that they have nothing in common and part amicably. Like everybody else I love the coroner he is such a hoot. And keep the dog he is adorable.
  17. I thought it was poetic justice the way Lord Hume went down for the deaths. Think about the destruction and misery he wrecked and created both on a personal level and in his life time as a politician. And he won't serve much time as he has a terminal illness. But his legacy is permanently and deservedly destroyed. My heart is not bleeding for him. My sympathy is primarily reserved for Jay. I hope his grandmother can get her self-destructive tendencies under control to be a real help and support to him. Which would also be beneficial to her on so many levels. Jay has so many odds stacked against him. Of course Miss Crackhead 23 of the unfortunate bangs dumps him for hot water access. Well, getting away from her may turn out to be a blessing for him. I have some hope for Jay because he is smart and he showed a capacity for empathy and remorse. Bringing the wilted flowers to the hospital to the woman he stole the hand bag from and pushed down - it may not be much but it is something. This young actor really gave a fine performance making me care what will happen to him.
  18. I have always enjoyed Doctor Who so I am used to the timey-wimey wibbly-wobbliness. Which comes in handy with this episode for sure. I am glad this show is back and I am eager for the next episode. I gave up on Secret Invasion during the first episode and it feels good to want to stick with this. I don't care at all for the whole Kang thing but give me Tom Hiddleston as Loki doing his thing and I am a happy camper. His chemistry with Morbius is the icing on the cake. The acting and the set design remain top quality.
  19. A disappointment for me, what a waste of an excellent actor. Another disappointment is Thrawn himself as a villain for me after he was so hyped up by fans. One note evil and no layers in his performance. I get it - he sacrifice anything and anyone to get what he wants. Yawn. I did enjoy the actor playing Shin Hati for the entire show, she was the stand out for me along with the great Ray Stevenson whose wonderful performance was in the end wasted by his arc going nowhere. It's bound to be like three years before any cliffhangers are resolved. They made it so I have no reason to be eager for it.
  20. I don't understand what Baylan was all about. Obviously his story was not meant to be resolved. Good luck with the recast. This was unsatisfying to say the least. I had hoped for a Grogu teaser at the end.
  21. Good thing next episode seems to be the resolution of this case, yes? When it turned out that Joe isn't Joe but his half-brother I reached ultimate state of muddled-ness in my head and went "whaaaat". I am a bit more clearer reading this thread, thank you! So much generational abuse and abject misery because his lordship couldn't keep it in his pants. The cheating husband is truly pathetic, hiding out like this. And she is going have to be civil to the louse for the sake of their sons.
  22. Going by the "about the show" they seem to enjoy making this show in general - especially Marc Warren. I am glad it's getting another season.
  23. Maher is not helping with what he said about Biden. Does he want Trump to be re-elected? Biden may appear "old" to the public but I believe many people 30 years his junior couldn't handle the work load he has been handling. Experience and devotion to duty is a real thing. I totally agree that the danger Trump poses to the US "trumps" any concerns about Biden's age. With the exception of Sam Harris I had a hard time stomaching the guests. Don't get me started on DeSatan and as for Ham - I do not like her.
  24. Kind of a let down from last week. Did Thrawn kill all the space whales? He can die now. Shin, you should have stuck with Baylan. I fear when it is finally revealed what Baylan's goal is I won't have a clue what it even means. This show is not for a Grogu centric casual watcher that's for sure. I agree that this is all going to end in a cliffy next week.
  25. I understand the sisters need to unburden herself, selfish as it is. I also understand if she will never be forgiven. I am very doubtful if I could forgive a betrayal of that magnitude.
