When it turned out that Joe isn't Joe but his half-brother I reached ultimate state of muddled-ness in my head and went "whaaaat". I am a bit more clearer reading this thread, thank you! So much generational abuse and abject misery because his lordship couldn't keep it in his pants. The cheating husband is truly pathetic, hiding out like this. And she is going have to be civil to the louse for the sake of their sons.

Going by the "about the show" they seem to enjoy making this show in general - especially Marc Warren. I am glad it's getting another season.

Maher is not helping with what he said about Biden. Does he want Trump to be re-elected? Biden may appear "old" to the public but I believe many people 30 years his junior couldn't handle the work load he has been handling. Experience and devotion to duty is a real thing. I totally agree that the danger Trump poses to the US "trumps" any concerns about Biden's age. With the exception of Sam Harris I had a hard time stomaching the guests. Don't get me started on DeSatan and as for Ham - I do not like her.

Kind of a let down from last week. Did Thrawn kill all the space whales? He can die now. Shin, you should have stuck with Baylan. I fear when it is finally revealed what Baylan's goal is I won't have a clue what it even means. This show is not for a Grogu centric casual watcher that's for sure. I agree that this is all going to end in a cliffy next week.

I understand the sisters need to unburden herself, selfish as it is. I also understand if she will never be forgiven. I am very doubtful if I could forgive a betrayal of that magnitude.

When I jokingly theorized that the affair might be with the sister I didn't really believe it might be true, ha. I still haven't narrowed it down to one suspect for the killer. I did feel intense dislike for Precious when we learned that she had blocked her son's adoption by a worthy family that would have changed his life for the good. I find him to be a tragic figure, the scene with his girlfriend alone gave me the feels.

I am ok with the new cast but did prefer the previous cast members. Basically I only need to have Van der Valk and the pathologist.

They could recast, actually it is rumored that they are doing that. Who could fill those shoes? For those of us who love The Expanse I saw in the credits that the golden masked one is played by "I am that guy" Wes Chatham.

Well, whoever decided to cancel the show obviously didn't think that way.

Awesome episode! So much Baylan and Shin and very interesting conversations betweeen those 2. I have some hope there may be a heel turn coming with both of them. So this is Thrawn. So far he doesn't seem mustache twirling. He looks very different from the animated images I have seen. First impression of Ezra - I like him. I can totally understand why Sabine was so eager to be reunited with him.

It says something about the various characters that I don't find the crackhead robber/aka son of victim the most unlikable of the bunch. The hair trigger temper of the ex social worker rings big alarm bells for me and as for abusive mommie dearest her woe is me attitude is not sympathy inducing to me and I haven't ruled her out as the killer.

I watch this show for the cop characters, especially Mark Warren. So I don't mind if the cases are not that interesting. The new one about the old case about the woman setting her siblings on fire in her youth has promise.

I couldn't concentrate on the crime because I felt so awful for the poor dog just abandoned on the roof. Animal abuse isn't funny, writers.

As a new viewer I already did not like Sunny all that much but now I am actively disliking him. Even if ex-social worker turns out to be the killer there was no immediate need to travel to this interview. So his girlfriend comes maybe third on the importance scale in his life, behind his obsession with his dead ex-boss and the investigation. That must make his lover feel really good. I am suspecting both the lord and the social worker.

I am not surprised, everybody kept telling me you gotta watch this show, Nick Hoult is fantastic in it. So I was finally going to get around to it and they kill his character off in the middle of last season. What a dumb move. Yes, I am aware of history but this wasn't a documentary now, was it? Dumb, dumb, dumb.

It was alright but not exciting like last week. I just don't have the emotional connection to Ahsoka that is needed I guess. My two favorite characters in this show were not even in this episode. Which did not help.

Maybe Sunny's girlfriend will have the baby which is a girl and they will name her Cassie, and this will heal his broken heart, lol. The cheating husband comes across as a big douchebag, so good riddance.

I know the writing wants me to dislike the new lead detective and they are doing an excellent job making me. I understand it is terrible when your marriage falls apart but maybe show some interest in your work and some drive to actually solve the murder. That said, I don't like Sunny much either. As a new viewer he comes across as passive aggressive and petty. So far I have no clue who among these suspects the killer is. It's easy to point at the crack head robber - so maybe not him?

I hope Star Wars people appreciate how wonderful Ray Stevenson's performance is. It is truly tragic that we lost him so soon. I also really like the actor who plays his apprentice. This was my favorite episode so far.

So. Her husband is cheating with the sister she can't reach? Too soapy for this show?

Conveniently for me I am discovering this show now as it has a new team leader. I am curious - how did the prior one die?

Never seen the original but I like this so far. It's all very eccentric in a way I enjoy. I do remember the lead from Death in Paradise.

Somehow I missed season 2 entirely. Must remedy that. I never used to find Marc Warren and his previous characters attractive but this show has changed that. He has aged well.

Did Sabine just leave the cat behind? Who is taking care of the poor kitty? Are these big space whale creatures the same beings Grogu saw while Din was sleeping when they traveling through hyper space in last seasons Mando?
