  1. I think the final episode was unimaginative and filled with bizarre disappointing retrospectives and references. As a stand alone episode, it was as great as any that came before but It will never be included on any 10 best finale episode lists... and final episodes should knock it out of the park in surprising mind bending ways. I am feeling let down but I also realize most viewers loved it because they love the series. I too loved the series and love Larry David but his brilliant mind could have come up with a better finale within some trip down a rabbit hole that made this episode the standard or benchmark by which all others are compared. Viewers are still, over a decade plus later, discussing The Sopranos final 20 second cut to black... what in ten years will be talked about in "No Lessons Learned?" The luck of a mistrial? I hope this particular episode can have conversations here within some serious analysis instead of just posts that are fan accolades for what probably is the greatest comedy series of all time. I hope the comments are not pejorative remarks targeting me about my opinion but of more value which views the episode through a different lens that maybe will help me see it differently. In an homage to The Sopranos, Larry and friends should have gone to a diner and sat at a booth and Richard's gf should have entered and sat at the counter and then gone to the bathroom and exited and stood in front of Larry and then a 20 second cut to black......
  2. Could it be that the Wil Wheaton outrage was a set up in a shtik for the season finale... where the character Larry merges with the real Larry and Wil sues the real Larry and the character Larry gets a structured settlement and has to call J.G. Wentworth because he needs cash now? Probably not, not with Larry's gelt.
  3. Is there a section here for discussing Lawmen: Bass Reeves?
  4. This ends part 1 until when? When will it return?
  5. The only smart player in this house is Mecole. Having said that, I like Cameron. He realizes his mistakes and shows regret. I also like Felicia. I can't stand Jared. Cirie made a big error coming on BB. She did damage to her Survivor image. If other former Survivor players were also on that would be a different story. But she was there to protect her son and walk him to the finish line. I really hope that does not happen. But I am usually angry on finale night, so I expect the expected. ETA: I like Matt.
  6. They cut feed because Cameron was telling Army secrets lol
  7. What a seriously boring season this is going to be. The cast is so basic and boring. The only one with interesting energy is Blue. Who else is even interesting? And CBS expects an audience to stay with this for 100 days? I think after this season it is time to retire this show. It has passed it's expiration date.
  8. For the first time, I am considering not watching and just going back at the end to see who wins. This is going to be a long long borefest.
  9. It does not matter.... she is a member of SAG/AFTRA and they are not going on strike and this work stoppage has nothing to do with their contracts. They are shutting down their work as a protest to the Writers Guild not yet reaching a settlement. She will not go against the sympathies of her union and work when all the others in her union are putting a halt to their shows regardless of their particular contracts. It is a protest.
  10. There will not be a new season of Big Brother if SAG/AFTRA joins the strike. Julie is a member of that union. And all live shows will change to reruns.
  11. Maybe they are counting the winter show when Adam won and the show which was only broadcast on the internet after a regular season's finale.
  12. I miss so much on this show and get confused... In the future, Brianna and Roger learn they saved Jamie and Claire. How did Brianna and Roger actually save Jamie and Claire from death?
  13. I hated the end. I don't know... I am so used to expecting the last episode of a series to go for "phenomenal" that I was disappointed. This final episode will not make any reviewer's list of all time greatest. It was a let down for me, just another episode as disappointing as the last episode to This Is Us.
  14. I am sure this has been discussed, however We Ani has been on The Voice. She sang at The Library of Congress event honoring Tony Bennett. She seems to be a professional now. How is she even on American Idol? I tried to find the conversation on this, but gave up. So thanks in advance for explaining.
  15. Could Midge be dead and this is all a fake flash forward into what might have been? It just seems so idiotic. Is the last episode her funeral in the late 1960s and then a flash forward to what could have happened if she lived?
  16. Great question. I was going to ask the exact same thing. Anybody have an answer?
  17. This future Midge is arrogant and obnoxious. While I liked seeing that she "made it," I think they should have saved that reveal for the last episode. It adds nothing to the episodes as the season advances.
  18. They never answered that. Was it for fixing Carlos's trial? Nobody wondered why he would do that? And it never came out that he fixed the trial to protect Adam? This show is filled with plot holes and stupidity. And:
  19. The flaw in this season is that they all acted like Adam killed Rocco deliberately and hence they act appalled. It was an accident... the shocking part was all the lies and cover up to protect Adam. If it was presented as an accident from the beginning... all of the rest could have been possibly avoided.
  20. This doesn't even make any sense. If nobody knows all about Michael's lies to protect Adam and that Coffey took the fall for it and was murdered by Carlo, why do they think he even went to jail? Do they all still think Coffey drove the car that killed Adam? And Fia doesn't even know? Huh?
