I left the tv about 20 minutes in.. husband said "I'll pause it for you" .. nope, not necessary. As soon as I saw Sloane written on the window, I knew I was out... her character has been a drag from day one and any episode that centers on her is a bore. Glad she's gone. (And I've always liked the actress so it's not really on her but she could not breathe life into that character AT ALL.) And I honestly loathe any of the episodes that are based outside of their local office area and expertise.

Due to multiple health issues, I take what can only be termed a 'shitton' of pills each day so anything I can take as a gummy is a relief. And fyi, the equate brand of gummy probiotics are so yummy. It's like little candy treats. 🙂

I blocked a sibling because of their activity in fringe political groups.. they've been investigated by the govt more than once so I'm told. They are gleeful about it, even. But I also don't associate with them other than family gatherings where I haven't a choice if I want to see the other family members. I think they may have blocked me too though based on what other siblings have said. I'm guessing it's for the medical reasons you mention with regard to your sister. I know someone like that, who always is posting about illnesses and injuries... to the point, you can tell it's a cry for attention. My Unfollow button and snooze buttons come in handy during one of their "flares." Her flares come closer together or increase in severity when she gets less responses from her posts. It is a mental health issue, and quite sad. Perhaps that is the case with your sister @Grownsonwalls

I actually think it suits her though. At least in the commercials I've seen. I kinda like it.

I do think this is a problem with all of the characters though. And I think Penelope is the worst of them thus far but Marina is pretty high up there in season 1, anyway in how they're writing the characters.

I won't lie... I kinda rolled my eyes and almost changed my mind when I saw how long it was but I'd already spent my credit on it so I went ahead and listened. I did like the book and I liked the narration so I went ahead and downloaded book 2.

Don’t know what to tell you. I’m new to listening to fiction so I have nothing with which to compare. I usually listen to self improvement, self care & productivity 🤷🏼‍♀️ .... but here’s the first two: edit- I just remembered that they did add the epilogue to each, which added about an hour.

At normal speed, that is what the first two are, anyway. Plus, when I listened at night, I tended to doze and would have to repeat 🙂 The narrator reads it with 'voices' to distinguish which character is speaking, maybe that extends it a bit?

I'm fine with that but thanks for letting me know. The audible books seem to be in the 12 to 13 hour range which for me means it'll take me a while to wend my way through the Bridgerton series itself anyway.

I gave up on waiting for the books, and since I have audible, I am listening to them rather than reading them. I just finished the Duke & I and started the second one, The Viscount who loved me. As a bonus, they're including the "Happily Ever After" epilogues at the end that corresponds to each particular book. After listening to the epilogue for The Duke & I , I've decided I'll hold off on them for the remainder of the books, as they completely spoiled some things I'd have rather waited to know about. I went to this website to find out what order to read. It also shows there is a Bridgerton Prequel series called "The Rokesby Series"

From several pages back: My husband and I dance in our kitchen or living rooms all the time. But we have also been know to break into a dance in a store as well. We're that annoying couple that likes to have fun regardless. Our (adult) kids will roll their eyes and smile. We're old enough that we don't really care what someone thinks. 🤷‍♀️ Re irritating commercials: I have this weird ability to tune out most commercials but there are some that manage to get through to me.... Any of the Liberty Mutual and Wayfair ads are annoying but the one that has me grabbing the remote to hit mute (if live) is Nature Made's Princess Toast commercial. It's Terrible! My husband loathes the "Lovely Day" commercial by Allstate where the lady rolls out of bed, out of her house and down the hill.

I haven't seen the movie yet, but one of my issues with Jessica Lowndes is the amount of spackle she always wears on her face. I feel like she could be pretty but it's just too much. It appears in the commercial that this is the case in this one as well.

In Vermont there's a program called: Vermont's Early Pathways where students can enroll to college tuition free in place of their senior year of high school while still earning their HS diploma. I'm sure other states have similar early college programs. I doubt there were such a thing at the time YS is set, and since it only accepts seniors, it would've been too late to help Shelden even if they did.

Sean McMurry is also still there, and he has been since Season 1. I don't think he could carry the lead at all, though. Of the characters on the show, the only one that had the ability to carry the show without Gibbs was DiNozzo but only if they'd allow him to have grown up from his silly ways. Which, they never did. Re: cast moving from NCIS: Original Recipe & New Orleans possibly transfering to NCIS:Hawaii... only characters I could see moving over would be Torres from OR and I wouldn't mind seeing Percy Or Brody from the original cast of NO again, as well. The rest.. meh.

I keep hoping they come up with a mobile app that makes is easy to view as I find it so challenging to view right now. I tend to mostly only read on either my desktop or laptop computers. I'd also be willing to pay a small fee to ditch the damn ads.

We both laughed out loud at several parts of this episode and enjoyed it. I thought it was one of their best episodes yet. When that woman had Leslie Jordan hop up on her back, I couldn't stop laughing. But WTF was Kat wearing when she went out? I know they're going for Quirky but she looked dowdy in that.

I HATE those... or the ones that say "If you care, you WILL repost this". Oh hell no, I won't. And I won't lie.. there are some serious repeat offenders that I simply snooze for a while. If it keeps happening, I might even have been known to unfriend someone, over that shit.

I may be fairly alone in this but I don't miss Christy at all, her character had become so one note. Tammy has become my favorite character on this show and really enjoy her & Adam's friendship a lot.

Its only available through Amazon Prime, iTunes or Vudu and even though I pay for AP, it is not a show that is included for free under their agreement. iTunes & Vudu are charging $14.99 for each individual season & AP is charging $9.99 a season (on top of the streaming service I already purchased!) Hell no, I'm not paying $20 to $30 dollars extra for one show. If they put it on HMN, I'd be willing to pay for that, as at least there are other shows I could watch.

AJ was involved in the hands transplant storyline. I LOATHED Billie from the moment she pulled up in her car like she owned the damn place. And nothing this episode did changed that. I laughed when AJ told her that her car was now parked in the impound lot... serves her right. I am hoping she's not going to be a regular but I have a feeling she will be which sucks.

the very first episode of the season has the narrator saying something to the affect that we don't know who LW is and never would.

So frustrating that they've not released season 6 or 7 on Netflix (and they've removed 1-5!) but they also don't offer them on Hallmark Movies Now, either. They only have season 1 on HMN. WTF. I'd actually buy HMN to at least see those seasons, if nothing else. I'm not paying for each season separately.. they can take a hike.

I'm okay with all of it except for that last tidbit.
