Lady Bella “G Butter” of Zulily. Or Lady Maximillion 🙂

I like Jill W in her mystery 101 movies and in some of her other movies but the Angel Tree was horrible and she looked terrible... I mean, yeah she was puffy from just having had a baby, but it was just a really a bad wardrobe that did her exactly zero favors and add in a bad script and it was a total snoozer. Her last mystery 101 movie, she was pretty far along and they managed to dress her in flattering outfits so it was too bad. But the movie itself was just a boring script and I don't think anyone could have made it better.

Tricia Helfer's mouth is huge for her face.. when I first noticed how similar they looked, it was TH's mouth that helped me tell them apart. I've watched so many HMM's now that I no longer mix them up. I also find that Jill is a bit of a better, more subtle actress where as TH tends of nibble a bit too much at the edges of the scenery.

Vacations: Where To Go, What To See, Where To Eat

Well, having lived in Nürnberg, Germany a few decades ago, I'm pretty partial to the Christkindlesmarkt which dates back to 1600's. Can't tell you how magical it all is, definitely one has to experience themselves. edit- Just strolled through your link..oh to be rich, I'd love to go to any of those, they look amazing! -
I actually really enjoyed Christmas Ever After but I think it's because the actress, a broadway star, reminded me of a good friend of mine (also a broadway actress) when she was younger... Ali Stoker's personality came across so much like my friend that I found her a bit endearing. I wasn't familiar with her at all prior to this movie and I almost skipped it altogether because the commercials with the weird pictures of the male lead turned me off. I did wonder whether this really old B & B was supposedly retrofitted with an elevator, given they were locked in a room on the 2nd floor at one point. And she'd just miraculously go around the corner and she'd be in her room. But no mention of it. I work with people with disabilities all day and I can tell you that navigating the world built for the non-disabled population can be a daily struggle. But I guess it's supposed to be a 'feel good' kind of movie so just skipped the details.

I will say that my number one holiday/seasonal music is the entirety of George Winston's "Winter" album. I've decorated my tree to this album every year for decades now. I ADORE the Bing Crosby/Davie Bowie's version of "Peace on Earth/Drummer Boy." And my guilty pleasure is my ridiculous love for a few songs on the soundtrack for the hallmark movie "Christmas Harmony" and have them downloaded to my phone. "Every Year at Christmas" "Cathedral Heart" "Hearts know it's never goodbye" (more seasonal than xmas, though)

I couldn't get passed Autumn Reeser's hair in the Glenbrooke movie. It was soo "hot roller' matronly hair and she's not that old. She's adorably chic with her shorter hair and this bugged me. I also saw no chemistry between the two in this movie, unlike their Thanksgiving move. In general, it was a disappointing movie as much as I wanted to like it. .

I wish I could remember which movie it was in but I watched one this weekend where the lead with the gorgeous home said something like "What? And leave my rent controlled apartment?" and I laughed and said, well.. at least they acknowledged that she could in no way afford that place otherwise. And wondered if the writers did that to appease those of us that roll our eyes at how ridiculous it all is. I think it was The Magical Christmas Ornaments with Jessica Lowndes, but I can't be sure.

That rendition of the holiday song by Tori was atrocious. Just sing the damn song. Ugh.

None of this makes sense. NCIS has gone off the rails. McGee needs to ditch that plaid jacket.

I'm tempted to go back & look as I didn't even notice anything weird with the baby at all. I'd rather this than the movie I saw recently that you could see the actual doll that was a stand in for a newborn... they didn't even try to get a newborn looking doll, just wrapped some random doll up.

Pet Peeves: Aka Things That Make You Go "Gah!"
Callietwo replied to Betweenyouandme's topic in Everything Else
These days most people have their lights set on auto so they come on automatically in dim settings when the car is turned on. I never touch my lights anymore. My car lights even change to high & low beams without any action on my end when they're set to auto so people probably aren't even thinking about it. Doesn't make it less irritating though, for sure. I hate when they pull up and park, then sit there with their lights on shining directly in your eyes. I try to be aware but don't always remember. -
They played it early November (the 4th).. for some reason, they're replaying more recently shown movies but not a lot of the ones that showed in October & November. I checked the movie app to see if this is one that is slated to replay and it's not currently on the schedule but hallmark is notorious for adding or moving things.

Pickles. Specifically Dill pickles. The smell is disgusting to me and the taste is even worse. My sister would get huge jar of them for christmas every year and would squeal and jump around with joy to have her own jar of dill pickles. I worked at burger king as a teen and my hands smelled like dill pickles for two freakin' years.

I’ll co-sign the hate for all of these and add in Charlie Browns Christmas. As kid I found it incredibly boring and it never got better.

For me, I don’t understand the name of the other forum to know what movies I should talk about there. The “Non-Rankin Bass Specials” means what? I don’t know who that is or what their movies are so I just respond wherever the discussion happens to be. Re the starlight movie- I ended up liking it a lot, but hated the way Paul Campbell’s character was in the early part of the movie. Came off as childish and whiney but I enjoyed his evolution.

Could be her accomplice was sentenced earlier and started serving sooner.

I thought Lacey looked absolutely gorgeous.. almost luminous for most of the movie. She should keep that makeup artist on payroll! And I adored the dress/cape & shoes she wore to his family christmas party. If I were 20 years younger, I'd be all over that look. It was quite serendipitous that she wore the perfect dress to the show, yes? 😉

I think we, the audience was supposed to know which of the two were was Bea Turner, though so that didn't bother me. And I agree, Victor Webster looked huge next to the rest of them and it didn't help at all that he's put on a good bit of weight lately. So strange to see him so "puffy." As for the rooms, I recall that Will & Suzanne (brother & wife) were booted out of their normal room, and that was why when the Dad asked if the pinecone room was ready, Will yelled YES.. and then realized he wasn't supposed to know and had that Ooops look about him and went back into Character. Then I thought they mentioned something about using rooms downstairs, so maybe the "family & staff" were using rooms there. They didn't fully cover that one though. I couldn't understand the whole Mr. Walter thing vs. his just being Ted's dad helping out and the same for Chef "Francesca". Why couldn't she be his daughter, also helping him run the B & B? Why make it so convoluted. I actually enjoy Lenz as an actress, but her character did seem stressed. They kind of covered that by saying Lucy had to take care of the siblings after their mom inevitably died when she was 15. I liked it.. I'd have given it more of a 4 out of 5. So far my favorite premiere this season has been Good Morning Christmas the other night. OH! And though I normally dislike the actress that played Grandma, I thought her getting into it was hysterical. I loved that.
