My problem with the premise is.. we're supposed to buy that Bull is this super duper sleuth able to figure out what you're thinking based on internet searches and mind reading but if he's to keep that image up, he'll have to win a LOT of his cases and where is the suspense in that? And I couldn't put the idea that it's based on Dr. Phil out of my mind and kept thinking what an egotistical piece of shite that man is to have this character be so smart, so handsome, so charming (ish) No, Dr. Phil, you are none of these things.
-
And if Bull is working for the defense, why was he riding along when they showed up to presumably arrest the mother of the weird girl? And? How did they know about her, the necklace, etc? I don't like the styling of the show at all.. jurors talking to the audience, etc. bleh. I love Weatherly and will check out one more episode before I decide but this was eh.

I've been saying this since the first episode that Davies appeared. I had speculated in another thread that given the significant similarities, there had to be a reason. But none of the other characters have mentioned a thing about the similarities so they're acting as if they don't exist. So weird.

My young neighbors next door like to blare their C & W music, which to me is no better than nails on a chalkboard. I'd almost rather listen to the guns being shot off at the shooting range nearby at 7 am on a Sunday. Almost.

Well, that was T & C's price, given the timeline, I'm sure and they typically buy run down properties and make them "pretty" albeit boring as all get out (to my eyes). So, you can be pretty sure it was all their standard problems prior to repairing & listing. Also, the link shows it has a pending offer already so it must be hitting the right note with buyers.

Agreed on all counts, offensive, poorly written and a liver transplant wasn't even mentioned (as possible or not, as the case may be and I was wondering why they didn't at least explore that as an option?) (do we have a speculation thread? At this point, it seems silly to start one now if there isn't but I couldn't find one. The previews have me wondering something:
-
Not enough. I can't stand the character and am ready for him to be off'd like the previous directors. I was so disappointed when they killed Jackie and left him standing.
-
Sure did.. and yes, it took me out of the scene every time trying to figure out why they would cast someone so obviously similar.
-
Well...as someone that has IBS and OB.. I spend an inordinate amount of time in the loo.. thank god for my iPad and Netflix!!

And, since it was a hallucination, it didn't really happen and they weren't on the beach at all necessarily. I actually loved it... I still like this light and fluffy show and USA seems to be replacing it with some serious shit which holds absolutely zero interest to me. Sure there were weak points in the voicing, but I loved it all anyway.

I totally thought he was dead, and just an actor that LOOKED like Hal Linden... so it actually being Hal Linden- he looked great for a dead man! heh. Aaaand... it sputtered and died in front of a house for sale on Henry Street? *of course*. That elicited a great big eye roll on my end, anyway. Even for summer fluff that was just too ridiculous for words.

I grew up in (Non-officer) military housing with 8 people but just one bathroom. We survived but it wasn't easy. My two children grew up in a house with three bathrooms, which- who wants to clean three friggen' toilets? NOT ME! Two is now the minimum and the maximum. Right. As the others have said, why spend $$ on higher end features when the core of the home is missing something so basic to everyday life now. Resale value will *suck*. And resale value is something to keep in mind no matter how much you like a house. My ex cajoled me into buying a house with a weird water retention pond (storm drains emptied into a manmade drain pond on our property) and that seriously impacted the resale years later. But most of these shows gloss over that aspect of improving a home so this show ignoring resale values isn't all that unusual.

I took it to mean she was dressed to exercise, not meet with a head of state.

Rewatching this episode and I have two words to say that would've kept Alice in jail after the tunnel shooting: Body Cam.. And would keep us from having to deal with the aftermath of accusations that Jane is a rouge cop run amok. But of course, then we'd have no show.

I actually disliked this episode a lot. I laughed when Jonah shot his foot and when someone called Jonah "HR Fuckenstuff" or whatever that was.. He's the only thing even remotely amusing to me this episode.

No... I think we were also supposed to assume she was with him as a couple and be shocked that they weren't. I hated that particular storyline piece but then it's about Jill so nothing new there anyway.
-
I still hate Jill even after all of this time. I dislike the actress (and didn't like her on Good Wife, either) so I hope we don't have to see her again even though they've telegraphed how Hank's love life will end. Of course, Dr. Big One is gay <eyeroll> because otherwise she'd be jumping him, right? I thought for sure Paige was going to pop in to see Evan and find out about the Box Car Children and rush to take them in for their insta-family but that'll happen eventually. Loved Dr Sacani & the Author! I hope she's a semi-regular until they end the series with him riding off in the sunset together. Dr. Sacani and Paige and Evan are easily my two favorite story lines. Boris was a favorite early on but has bored me to tears for ages.

No, it was Marc.. it took a while to find but it was his character Leo on Once and Again where had an affair with Karen, played by Susanna Thompason. He had chemistry with her, at least.
-
I had to look away...it was so disturbingly gross for some reason. I just couldn't watch when he put his hand up to her cheek ... YUCK I was sure he'd played the younger man having an affair with an older woman in a show once and I felt he had great chemistry but I cannot find any details of what role or show it was; I thought it was Judging Amy but came up empty. It was the first time I'd really noticed him as an actor and he had great chemistry with the actress. Maybe I have the wrong actor, but I was pretty sure it was him.

It really is a thing.. I do wish they hadn't gone there.. Fructose intolerance, FODMAPs, gluten intolerance are all met with such skepticism as it is ( reason they chose itI'm sure) . As someone with all three probelms I groaned. The pain I had before vs now is so significant in my life. But it's a comedy first and foremost and I know that any target is pretty much fair game. But yeah.. It's unfortunate, imho.

Watched this episode with hubby. I'm thinking this wasn't the best one to introduce him to the cast of characters. He knows how much I hate the "C-word" in real life so he was shocked at how much I laughed during the show. And I'm talking belly laughs. This entire episode was just so damn funny. Jonah running for office is just the train wreck expected. The writers seem to not care who they insult, which yes, please... love it! I started off cringe watching, but somewhere along the way I've stopped and am just enjoying the show. Charlie Baird not getting his bailout might allow Selena to "prove" that she's just doing what's best for the country, without consideration for her own selfish reasons so that may help her with the election in the long run. Her waffling on that was expected but done well enough with enough funny one liners that I didn't even mind the predictability there. Didn't even notice it, really, until later. I'm not a fan of Catherine, feel she's just there it eff things up for Selena and is probably my least favorite character but her and Marjorie sitting on the bench at the end was pretty amusing.

We hate "open concept" too. We housesat for four years in a lovely, lovely home out on a lake recently.. bought our own house two years ago and we were very specific that we wanted the kitchen away from the living room especially. We both hate having the noise of the kitchen in the damn living room. And I don't want to see kitchen messes when we sit down to eat, it is so not relaxing to look at. Give me a traditional dining room and living room and I'm a much happier cook. I like Christina and Tarek well enough but they have a very set style and it's getting old. Wish they'd branch out and try color or something. Beiges, greys and whites have become boring.

Watched this last episode in the middle of the night with my headphones (which, side note, the Bose noise canceling headphones are worth every fricken' penny!!) But I didn't realize how loud I was laughing during the take down by Grace & Frankie and hubby was annoyed, heh. Grace is definitely my favorite character on this show, she's wound so tight it was just a matter of time before she blew her top and boy was that a great scene. Unlike others, I thought Brianna was totally in character when she was going on about the jewelry and it really kind of cracke de up. But she's my second favorite character after Grace so maybe that's why. And how much money was in that box? They're lucky that the housekeeper was so trustworthy! It'd netted a pretty penny and she could have easily told Robert it was given to Grace, and with Grace unaware it existed how would he know? But it's TV, so of course, the box full of jewels was safe. It is one of hubby & my favorites. In the divorce support group where we met (online), it was highly recommended and we definitely found it helpful for us navigating the 'second time around'.

I kind of thought maybe a shrink? He sure needs one. (I liked Boris and his mysteries early on and I really like the actor but damn.. they've gone so far left field with his storyline that it's a total snoozefest now. I didn't see any ambiguity on whether they're 'home alone'.. I think it's certain. And I'd guess, yes, the long game most likely will be Paige & Evan still can't have babies of their own and ends up taking them in though I don't know if they'll adopt or not. It seemed to me that Divya & Raj got married offscreen... so I hope not... dumping Raj twice, even if the first time was mutual is just not a storyline that I'd want to see anyway.

Okay. I didn't hate that trailer which shocks me as I loathe the man the show is modeled after. I do see the smart ass Tony in the character. Having this come on immediately after NCIS might make it harder to shake off the DiNozzo as Bull instead of Micael as Bull though.
