To be fair to Lauren lots of kids want to be a veternarian, a doctor, a nurse, etc. and then find out how much work it is and decide it's not for them. Homeschooling may also make school seem eaiser than it is (depending on the parents, curriculum, etc.). It's also possible Lauren really had trouble keeping up with school even if she was earning good grades. And then in her world, it's not important women have a career or education or a way to earn money. I still get the sense her parents are happy she chose to get married and not pursue more education. It does sound she's misleading us about being a nurse. Although it wouldn't surprise me if fundies were ignorant enough to confuse pre-requisites with actual nursting courses. I hope all of her sisters take a different path.

I've known Catholics who stayed in abusive relationships, because the church says "divorce is a sin". Technically it's not the divorce, but the remarriage. However a lot of traditional Catholics interpet the church's teachings to mean no divorce ever. I think Lawson and Nathan are still single, because they don't have stable jobs to financially support wives. Trace and Chaney are officially dating and calling it "dating". Courtship was supposed to replace dating.

Some news from various fundies: Susanna Keller got married earlier this month. She and her fiance aren't fundie as far as I know. I wonder what Jill R thinks of the Kellers having several rebellious (non-fundie) kids. (3 out of 8; Daniel, Rebekah, and Susanna.) Today is Chaney's 21st birthday. She and Trace look ready to announce a courtship/engagement any day now. And yes I'm wary of the Bates playing rescue workers.

I wonder if Austin came back sooner, because he and Joy are still greiving their loss. He may feel he can only stay away from her for so long. I thought Austin's main job is flipping houses, so I think he can probably take as much time as he needs. (As opposed to someone working in a office setting. I doubt the Duggars/Bates were much help and I think it's good they're returning.

The Rods aren't really that different from the Kellers and they're even more like oldest Keller daughter Esther's family. I think there are some logistical details with the couple living in separate states that are delaying updates.

I didn't realise she had breast cancer. I feel so sorry for her family and that she didn't get to have more of a good-bye. On the other hand, I'm still angry about all the hate and lies she spread. She spread poisonous conspiracy theories on her channel (usually about national tragedies). Hopefully her family will change now.

Rhea Lana is a clothing store and most likely not the name of the baby. On the other hand, Lauren's mother is Lana and I can't blame her if they did use it as a middle name. The tradition is to give the first born daughter the middle Milagro and I assume that's the middle name they'll go with.

At this point Jana should marry either one of the Bates boys; they deserve each other.

Abbie's due date is a rumor based on gossip from FJ. No information from the Duggars has been shared.

I'm expecting the first big announcement to be Trace's girlfriend/courtship/engagement. It's possible that Carlin isn't having a honeymoon baby and it's either too early to announce or she has nothing to announce.

Why Jed over the other boys? Why not Joe, who's older and married and seemingly career-less? Why not Josiah or John David also older and married? Why not Jer or Jason, etc? It seems so random. It's been hinted I guess that Jed is particularly devout, but so is Joe. John David, Josiah, and Jer are supposed to be pilots in training.

I see both Stephen and Hannah Wissman on different sides of the frame. Stephen seems to be the name obstructed by the frame. I also see Lily Swanson, and Micah Caldwell. I'm using fundie wiki to help determine names. Possibly Jana Duggar too although it seems cut off by the frame.

I also spy Josh's signature. Yes to Jackson and Justin Duggar. I also spy signatures of Jason Duggar, "Cousin" Emily Peters, Lauren Caldwell, and a lot of people with the last name Andregg who were mentioned in the Sweet Fellowship thread.

According to FJ, Lauren Andregg is in a courtship with someone. It's in their unmarried fundie thread (third page).

Garrett is a boy and a baby; he can wear a onesie like that. When Kendra's daughter is Josie's age, we'll see how she's dressed.
