I don't remember perpendicular. I get the feeling this is aimed as a middle of the road political statement. Don't shoot people; be nice to them instead! But don't criticize our leaders for doing nothing either! I don't feel the least bit inspired by this statement, at least in any positive sense.

Lauren isn't officially celiac. Neither one of them is officially celiac, but both Abbie and Lauren have talked about gluten sensitivity.

Yeah that's cousin Emily who's a second cousin of the kids. Her father Will Peters is Michelle's nephew and Dwain Swanson's ministry partner. I bring that up a lot, because it boggles my mind that Lauren Duggar's father is a ministry partner with Michelle's nephew and has been since long before the marriage. Also we've seen a lot more of Emily since the Swansons came to town. Speaking of the Swansons, they have four girls and those other girls in that photo both look like Swansons to me. I pray at least some of these young women escape the cult.

Jill told her family at one month, but announced to the world at 2 months. I think all of them (as do most people) announce to their families before telling everyone else. (My cousin told her family long before announcing on facebook.)

Jill announced publicly at 2 months with their People cover for Israel. Kendra also announced around 2 months this time. FJ speculates Abbie may have waited, because of Joy's loss.

I'm annoyed that another couple announced with no hint of when she's due. So far it's a rumor from FJ that she is due in January. None of my friends announce like this. I get not saying a specfic date, but why not just say a month or around this time or even a season? I also don't understand her surprise. Maybe she felt discouraged when they didn't conceive in the first three/four months. Given how skinny she was in the pictures, I doubt it's twins. Of course the speculated due date could be off....

I'm not so sure that's true. Just because Jill and David don't have money, doesn't mean all of their friends are as poor as they are. Since Nurie is marrying Anna's brother-in-law, I'm sure the Duggars will send something. (They have donated to the Rods go fund me pages in the past.) Also weddings present opportunities for fundies to network and meet other fundies, so the price of a gift and travel may be worth it to them.

I can't find it, but they did a video for TLC. According to the video, Abbie was feeling really sick, went to see a doctor and found out she was pregnant. Also a poster on FJ claims to know the family and says Abbie is due in January.

Thanks for the correction. I've been sick and not sleeping well so sorry I didn't realise it was only 9 months.

Technically Jessa is still 26 until early November. Abbie turned 27 in April. John and Abbie were married the first week in November last year. They will be married ten nine months in the next few days.

Kristen Nicole Young is the Tacos4Life lady and a friend of Jill's and Jessa's. She just announced she's pregnant with #3 due in Feb./March 2020.

I'm not sure how much of this is a choice and just how things worked out for her. Not everyone is as magically fertile as Jill's mother. Jill could be facing secondary infertility and Derick has been busy with law school. Ben doesn't seem to want to stop the baby train. Ben was saying he thought Jessa and he could a third child by the fourth anniversary. (A friend of mine had three kids all born before anniversary #4 with no twins or triplets.) Jessa was pregnant with #3 by their 4rth anniversary, but didn't give birth for another 6 months.

I prefer Chloe with the spelling. Khloe with a K is also fairly popular though. Chloe with a C is #25 in the US and Khloe with a K is #135 in the US. (No idea how umlauts and accent marks affect popularity.) I like the combo Khloe Eileen together.

From what Jill has said recently I don't think she is pregnant. I thought she was, but I was wrong. I also don't think she and Derick are preventing, based on the video they made where she made Derick admit that they could be pregnant by the end of the year. I think Jill is a big believer in the "Quiverfull" ideology. She put Psalm 127 in there house when they wrote bible verses on the exposed studs. It seems possible that Jill has some secondary infertility problem. It's possible Derick has health issues that are contributing to a decline in fertility. It's possible that they just haven't been blessed yet. I could see Derick not wanting to address any fertility issues, because he wants to slow/stop the baby train. I partly thought Jill was pregnant after Anna shared a photo of Jill, Joy, and Anna all pregnant at the same time. The picture was from right before Sam was born. Anna shared it months (May) ago with the caption "Wonder how many more announcements to come." She seemed to be hinting Jill was pregnant and that seems mean to me.

I don't know... religious people tend to blow any little sin/incident out of proportion. Exhibit A: Michelle mowing the lawn in her bikini.

Yeah and last I heard Bobby was in politics. He is/was a liason to a congressman. According to fundiewiki, he's the oldest of 8 kids. He and Austin were both part of rebellious group of kids, but their rebellion seems to be less ideologically driven (more's the pity) and just getting into trouble. JB and MIchelle said that Austin and Bobby turned their lives over to Jesus. His friends who repent, supposedly had problems that would have been avoided? if they were Christians. I find this line of thinking very troubling.

In another post on their social media, they described the labor as a "terrifying and shocking process". It sounds and looks like Josie may have had some complications, but nothing too serious and thankfully they were in a hospital.

Any idea who the woman next to Abby is?
