I don't know if this has been shared, but Sierra is having a boy! Sierra Jo Dominguez is having her 7th child a little after her 30th birthday. She currently has 4 boys and 2 girls plus the baby boy on the way.

It might be optimism talking, but they look more comfortable together in some of those pictures than Si and Lauren (poor kids). I particularly thought the goofy photos showed some camraderie and fun between them.

It's also just Lauren may have been convinced by the internet. She got a lot of negative feedback about that caption.

I don't feel or know there's anything Joy and Austin could have differently. I don't blame them at all and I hope they don't blame themselves. I also worry that they will blame themselves, because of the cult they grew up in. Gothard preached that good things will happen to his followers if they obey their rules/lifestyle. Bad things are supposed to only happen if people aren't "Godly" enough. I watched the Youth Conference for Christ video (which you can see on youtube) featuring JB and Michelle and David and Priscilla Waller. They told story after story about how good things happen to their "Godly" friends and family and bad things happened to people who weren't following God. I wouldn't be surprised if Joy and Austin doubled down on their beliefs after having such a negative experience. My thoughts and sympathy are with them. As for Lauren, what seems most insensitive about her post is that she still pregnant.

God what a sadness for Joy and Austin! I feel awful for them. Sending them peaceful, healing vibes, (On a side note, that spelling of Annabell is unusual. Annabelle (popularity #141) is the french spelling and Annabel (popularity #949) is the english spelling. )

The Kellers knew full well who Josh was and let their daughter marry Josh Duggar. Most likely they married Anna to Josh for the same reasons Jill is excited Nurie is marrying Nathan. The Kellers and the Rods are old-school fundies, which means the announcement of a courtship is basically the announcement of an engagement.

I've somehow seen a lot of David Waller lately and I can't think of someone who more deserves to be connected to the Rods via marriage. (He's pompous and smug and joyless to listen to. He was on a video with JB and Michelle and his wife Priscilla.) John Shrader and his family (Esther Keller Shrader) are basically a missionary version of the Rods so this doesn't surprise me. I'm picturing Jill as Mrs. Bennet in the Colin Firth P & P "And this will throw the younger girls into the path of other young fundie men." FJ keeps crashing. And finally I'm glad it's Nurie and, not the barely 18, Kaylee who's courting.

The Maxwells have a post about Father's Day. They spent it together. Also Anna Marie is apparently due mid-February, but the last three posts are about her pregnancy. She seems to be a six weeks along. It will be a long pregnancy.

I know she's annoying and she's not my favorite either. I think a large part of the problem is just she is very immature and probably wasn't ready to be married and neither was he. As good as their lives look, I'm glad I'm not either one of them. I'm glad my community, family, religion, etc. didn't push me into getting married, having sex, and becoming pregnant, while I was still figuring things out. I imagine a picnic would be worse since outdoor weddings usually have chairs.

To be fair, I think it's at least two sad events: the miscarriage and losing his grandmother.

Theresa is not the women who assisted Joy. She was blonde. Why Jessa at one point trying to go into labor at the TTH and then she ended up on her home couch? Jill sounds like she's a teenager.

Garrett is barely a year old, and Kendra doesn't turn 21 until August. I really hope they slow down after this, because she will have at least 7 kids by 30 if they don't.

The picture of Anna Marie and her girls just must makes sad and sums up my feelings (sadness) that two more sistermoms are being born into this fundieism (JoKen's and Siren's).

They're authentic to me too, but I see that as more true believers who more firmly believe in the cult than a lot of Joe's siblings.
