  1. Not sure what you are refering to. Josh is the oldest, and he was an only child for at least year, almost two when Jana and JD were born.
  2. I think she's wearing a oversized sweater that she may have had when she was pregnant. I would wear Jill's pants. I'm surprised/not surprised they're still swaddling Sam. @xwordfanatik If you google "twitter Derick Dillard", you should be able to click on his account and see his tweets. That works for any celebrity/twitterer just type in twitter and a name. I use it to see tweets by those I like.
  3. I don't go to thriftstores, but it's worth pointing that Americans clothes are notoriously cheap. These people choose thriftstores, because Walmart, Burlington, Old Navy, etc. are too "expensive". Heck I do shop at Outlets occasionally and many of what are considered high-end brands are really cheap. I don't know how any of these compare to thriftstore, but I would some of the deals I've gotten would be comparable. ($2, $4 for a t-shirt) Even before they were on TLC, JB spent 250,000 dollars on a non-successful state senate campaign. They probably could have bought an entire wardrobe for all the kids at Old Navy or Walmart for 10,000. (Although I realise the girls would have probably had to buy their long skirts somewhere else.) All these people impressed with their ability to save money don't seem to realise we live in a country where cheap clothes are plentiful and anybody can find great deals at non-thrift stores or thrift stores if they look hard enough.
  4. It's looks photo shopped so much, it probably is. People I know took pictures like this, but they're teenagers and athletic.
  5. The only way her outfit makes sense is if she was touring the area earlier in the day and made a quick pit stop at the beach before moving on. I doubt that's her bathing suit.
  6. I don't think he was a newlywed. Not sure how long the newlywed period is, but I've usually heard a year. I think that was last year (2016), but maybe the year before? Anyway it was in the fall, and they already had the baby so not newly weds. As for Jinger and Jeremy, very nice. Happy 24th Jinger!
  7. I have no way of knowing whether this is true, but I'd bet a lot that Cathy bought the stroller for her only grandchildren.
  8. I can easily see how you or your autocorrect made that mistake. Those words seem like two words that people can get mixed up by their sound. The definition of continence is funny by it's self. If you told someone had a continence problem, I wouldn't picture them as horny, more what @Mollie said.
  9. Yeah, dissociation is familiar. I've done it and so have other people I know or know of. Anne of Green Gables is a classic example. (She's starts out she's been living in her head. Her past before green gables, includes living with a drunk, and being a not-a-sister-mom to people with too many kids.) I'm don't think Jessa-is-a-bitch, because she doesn't want to do what she's been told by her parents she wants to do. Considering a foxhole is "a hole in the ground used by troops as a shelter against enemy fire or as a firing point." I think she could be as good as pretty much a lot of the general population. Out of all her sisters she seems the least likely to be panicked by enemy fire and most ready to return it.
  10. It is my theory that JB made Derick say he (Derick) cut ties with them (TLC) , to keep the sympathy-for-Derick boycotts to a minium. They want this show on the air. Your explanation does make sense too. Then Derick could be in a round-bout way telling the truth. He could have wanted out and so started doing things to try to get out of the show. If they had him undercontract and said no to him leaving. They were going to keep airing the footage, and he could have started trying to sabotage things to get kicked off. It's like when one person cheats to get the other person to break-up with them.
  11. Ben has a "job" working for JB. First of all, how much work is that really? What exactly does he do for JB that his five or six of brother-in-laws aren't also doing? John David is a constable and is the family pilot responsible for the planes so not him. But Josh needs to have some employment I assume he's "working" for JB. Joseph, Josiah, Jeremiah, and Jedidiah, also are of age and seem primarily to work for JB. Derick's financial options right now look like he's going to have to be working for JB. The rest of the Duggar boys are inching towards 18 when they will also be working for their dad. Jill, I think did more work before she was married, between her mid-wife training and her nannying for the parents. I would be surprised if Ben works everyday. It's not the same as even having part time work for someone else. I think they say Ben works for JB to make it sound better. Although if he really spends 4 hours a day cleaning toliets, that make explain his allergies too.
  12. I don't agree. Ben is at home almost as much as she is. He could clean that house. He's able-bodied and as capable of cleaning as she is. I don't agree with the Duggars about much, so I think a man should be able to clean. I think she grew up in a house that sort of a mess most of the time, and she lacks exposure to other people so she doesn't know what normal is. Her messy photos seem to prove she isn't aware of how it looks. If she had gone to school or gone over to other people's houses more, she would probably be more aware as someone would have pointed that out to her.
  13. @SMama you make some good points. Derick is basically saying he is the headship and he gets to make the decisions which is how Jill was raised. I don't think he made this decision alone. Jill has had a hard time on social media, and dealing with the negative backlash against her family. She thought she was going to be able to have lots of babies and give birth on tv like Michelle, Anna, Jessa, etc. Jill has had a lot of challenges to her beliefs. I could see her being willing to accept being less visible. I kind of like that Derick said it was his decision, and not TLCs', since some of their fans are angry he is no longer on the show. There was no need for these people to ever have a show and their fans should be happy TLC continues to air the show in any form. Of course it occured to me that JB and his PR consultants told Derick what to tweet, because some of the fans want to start boycott and they (JB and his in-laws) demand the show must go on.
  14. I'd like the toppers if they looked more like them. Jeremy's hair is much darker than that.
  15. Derrick looks like somebody in that picture, but I can't remember who. It's the hair, the expression, and the shirt. In other pictures, he looked sicker, but that is one of the worst photos I've ever seen of Derick. Actually it's just the worst. Look at his arms (around the wrists) in his shirt. His wrist is tiny. That doesn't look healthy to me (ymmv).
  16. So sorry! That's one of the saddest things I've ever read. From other posts you've done, you seem to be in a better place now and I wish you the very best in life.
  17. His parents-in-law, Jessa and Ben, Jinger and Jeremy, joy and Austen all have guns or have been seen firing them. Also a couple months ago Derick liked a post that turned out to be in context critical of Michelle, JB, and Josh. The tweeter had tweeted up a storm and including an old picture of Josh, Anna, their first three kids and a gun. So if he doesn't have one lots of them floating around when he visits his in-laws.
  18. Ahhh, that's true. Also it was Swiss/Israel honeymoon. The show is probably safe.
  19. They would? Assuming their parents were willing to provide free childcare while the girls worked some sort at the kind of job described. That free childcare could stop if JB decided they gone too far from their beliefs. It's a mistake on the girls' part to assume it'll be there forever.
