  1. Maybe, but there's a reason Bill Gothard wanted the women of his group to be homeschooling housewives who never stopped having babies. It kept them from having time for introspection to try to figure why they were doing what they were doing and the lack of questioning keeps them from leaving. Jessa doesn't look pregnant to me. I doubt any fundie girl in this crowd has a perfectly flat stomach before marriage/sex/pregnancy. And then she had two babies in less than 2 years. It wouldn't surprise me if she was pregnant, but it's not evident from the photo. If she is, I'm sure they'll tell us sooner than later.
  2. That post about Michelle was sad. It showed Jessa is coming around to her parents' way of thinking. That rather than learning more about the outside world and becoming less of a Duggar, getting married and becoming a mom has reinforced her upbringing. Based on that post, it doesn't look like she will be doing anything different from the way she is raised. (There goes that being married is always better than just living at home.) Or she could have written something to make her fans happy. I hope this is the case.
  3. I like Jill's shoes. They look practical for walking around. I'm glad she's able to wear something that's not flip-flops or sandals since that's all they wore growing up. I wonder if she thought pairing two neutrals with the mustard sweater would work.
  4. Derick managed to paint her toes, maybe he could paint her finger nails?
  5. Josh's hand is the first thing I see. Anna is over six months pregnant and there is literally no one else else who could hold her daughter. good one Duggars!
  6. It was a calm before the storm interview. Too bad she didn't come today. Trevor could have grilled her about the new accusations.
  7. I don't think you're right. My story was that the woman conceived on her wedding night, and the baby was about a week early prior to her nine months anniversary. @doodlebug We need your input. Also the baby wasn't nine pounds.
  8. I have forgotten who the Botkin girls are. Both sisters are actually younger than Sarah Maxwell and about thirty years old.
  9. Someone I knew told us that she read in woman's magazine right before the wedding that her wedding night was the most fertile day of her cycle. This was in the forties. She also said it was not uncommon in her family to have a baby nine months after the wedding. Her first child was born a few days before her nine months anniversary, and by days I mean less than a week before the anniversary. Their friends found this hilarious. My point is it's possible. I've given up trying to guess what's going on with Joy.
  10. Rubio said he wouldn't run again and then he did! I personally they will change their minds once they impeach Trump. To me it's like those cop movies where they put their badge on the guys desk and say yes my police career is finished. Then they solve the case and reinstated. (In this case re-elected.)
  11. I'd probably feel that way if they were at least three older (meaning particularly Kendra). Joe probably will follow his parents' requests (like Be fruitful and multiply) since he probably isn't prepared to support her without some help..
  12. I haven't known what to say, because I'm none too neat myself. I often have allergies, but I manage to throw away my tissues, and any other stuff like that. If I thought my sheets were dirty, I'd change them. It makes me sad, because I think this in some way reflects her childhood. I think probably Michelle was a lot messier in their smaller house with so many little kids before her big girls got older and they were on tv with some incentive to keep the house clean since other people all over the country were watching their house. Michelle was suposedly able to all the housework, and homeschool and be pregnant and supervise the kids and be JB's buddy and take care of her elderly father . For help, she had her daughters and a woman who helped do their laundry. So I bet there were days where it seemed everything went crazy, and she didn't manage to throw our diapers. I also think that if she had come from a different family she wouldn't have chosen this lifestyle, and that's probably part of it, too.
  13. I agree with you on that. I was just pointing out finding super religious guys, who have quite a bit of money isn't easy.
  14. Part of the problem is finding fundies that meet the requirements. Mr. Maxwell probably is looking for someone who matches the family in religiousness. He also wants son-in-laws who are able to provide for his daughters to his standards. (His sons own a house "debt free" probably because he chips in somewhat.) JB had high standards originally on both of those. He wanted his daughters to marry guys who were Gothard?/very religious guys and who made a certain salary. He couldn't find anybody who met those so he let Jessa court Ben. (Derick I think with Walmart job met the financial piece and was willing to go along with their brand of fundamentalism which made him a strong candidate.) Steve Maxwell might have to relax his standards if he wants girls to get married.
  15. Seven (including Kendra), but most of them are young and boys. The Caldwells probably live like every other family in this lifestyle (and lots of other people too). They scrimp and save and try to be "modest" about money unless there's something they want to spend it on. TLC probably paid for a lot of it, and the Duggars got other things comped (like the dress). I doubt the Duggars spent too much themselves. I got see JB going on about how they're all about tradition and traditionally the bride's family pays.
  16. I think that's Jacob W maybe who people thought was courting Jana, and then he very publicly denied it.
