Allure has a line of gowns that are modest. Jessa's dress was Allure modest with no major alterations. Jessa's dress is still my favorite.

Well if they did step a toe or two out of line, it would be on television so Michelle and JB would find out about it. I'm sure they used television cameras (as well as the household cameras) to see how their children behaved and if something needed correcting. It surprises how many of the young people I know, who are fundie-lite from childhood have remained that way. The one family had strict rules about their adult children not moving out until marriage and that seems to have helped, but I don't really know how the other families stayed that way.

Chelsy Bontrager Maxwell has been slowly posting about wedding from December. She's up to Part 8, which is the reception. There's a picture of Kendra Duggar's parents. There is also a picture of JB, Michelle, and John David. The reception looks nice.

There were rumors her family had moved/was staying in Arkansas. Idk if that's true. It's possible they were in Georgia and she called her family daily. Maybe the honeymoon is the longest she's gone without speaking to her family. Historically a lot of young women found weddings stressful, because it was the first time they really left home.

I know a lot of Jews keep Kosher. I meant that a lot of the Jewish people I know/have known don't keep other restrictions mentioned in the OT and some of them don't keep Kosher .I apologize if I offended any Jewish people. That was not my intention.

Most Jewish people don't follow all the restrictions and law of the old testament either to some extent. Of course, hasidic jews follow more restrictions that other versions of Judaism and Bill Gothard look to the hasidic jews for some inspiration for his teachings. (Possibly that's where the pork restrictions come in).

I can't tell what direction they will go in for the name. I could see something biblical like Elizabeth, Ruth, Lydia, etc. I could see something Italian that works well in English like Isabella, Sophia, Valentina etc. I could see them using a J-name, since they have J- names and her family has J-names, like Juliette, Juniper, etc. They could do something totally different and just pick a name they like. Lately I've been thinking Lydia Vuolo, although Julietta Vuolo would be pretty.

I never said secularism is caught on the bus like a virus. I said the majority of people are Catholic, and that's based on the numbers I got from goggle. My point is that it's easier for him to be comfortable with the people on the bus, because the most of them consider themselves Catholic and he's never the minority. It's similiar to being in a Catholic church, where (like in the church I grew up in) people take being Catholic to mean different things and practice their faith accordingly. Yes, I get your point about most fundies being worried that secularism is catching is stupid, but I also know Catholics who worry about their kids being susceptible to bad influences in public schools. It's hard to say what a celibate man like Pope Francis would be if he was like Jill, in America raising 13 kids and counting.

Argentina is mostly Catholic (a little over 3/4s and that's today's numbers with secularism on the rise.) He was most likely never the only person who held his beliefs. Jill woud have hard time finding a bus where most of the people are whatever branch of Christianity she is.

That was my thought. People in this lifestyle don't like to be left alone and the size of their house seems like it would be a little clautrophobic.
