Wow. This is gross. Yep, but still after the scene where she seemed to have no clue, the morning after this happened. Of course, we weren't there for the conversation - I just found her new info on marital discussions at both reunions to be disingenuous and convenient. Lu is the worst liar. In the flashback to the Turks scene - Lu had no idea her guy was married, but shrugged it off. Tonight, he was crying on her shoulder about being separated / getting divorced. She's consistent in this 'follow up an indiscretion with a delayed, embarrassingly transparent lie about what really happened' bullshit. I see you, Lu. Still can't stand her. Beth is a shrew and maniac. That said, she can take down Lu in her sleep. Also loved Dorinda's first response to the coke allegation 'we never hang out with you guys...' not the outrage and adamant denial one would expect. Not that I think everyone should react how I would - just think it was suspicious. I loved this trainwreck - bring on next week!

And this is why I may have to check out of BB altogether. It's not that I really give a shit who wins, it's just not the show I want to watch. I feel like every summer they try to run a scam on us, and even when they don't succeed, it's not really a game or an even playing field, if you will. I don't care who Grodner & co. want to win or who they think makes good tv, I want to see the social experiment this is supposed to be. Not to be a broken record, but Grodner ruins everything. Or maybe I'm just cranky.

Adore got a lip implant? Even though she got it removed, why the hell? Her lips were crazy full in the first place, and she wore lipstick like none other., already. Gah - weird choice. On the rerun, I'm seeing what y'all are saying now - the lips have that rubbery, less defined thing happening. So, does Alaska look the same to y'all? Something seems different to me - but hell, I thought Adore was just weight, so what do I know.... Pains me to say this, but Phi Phi's reads were pretty damn good - when did she get a sense of humor? I'm with the poster who said the cuts this year will be rough - Katya, Alaska, Detox, Adore will always be my top picks, but almost all the girls are really likable.

Yeah, I'm with Loki on this - just looks like weight gain to me - same adorable face...can't imagine she'd mess with her eyes or lips, and honestly, looks exactly the same, but definitely weight gain in her face. Alaska, on the other hand, looks very different to me - maybe lips, maybe even her eyes? Not apparent in makeup, but boy Alaska? Looks alien-ish to me, but I can't figure out why, exactly. I'd like to see Adore go far, I've always had a soft spot for her, and she is immensely watchable to me.

Yeah, my apologies - didn't mean to imply that was your take (showmances); I was just riffing off your post, but took a left turn. ;) I don't know about this particular instance - but, as you pointed out, it's hard to give them the benefit of the doubt, because they do openly (IMO) steer what they want to have happen so often. Hell, even Evel Dick said they openly rig in those DRs - I mean, who know if he's just talking smack, but I'd think he'd know better than most. I also think they are too close to some of the hamsters to be objective - and that sometimes even clouds what they think is 'good tv' (Paulie, BB14 Frank, BB15 Amanda)- again, just IMO.

Yeah, but when you've got Natalie, Nicole and Victor (most blatant of all) saying this- in Victor's case a 'direct quote' according to him...there's a little too much smoke for me. By 'this' I mean openly manipulating versus asking questions just to get a sound bite. I don't know what their end game is, but I think it would be more about 'fan favorite returnees' (Rachel / Jordan anyone?) than it would be about showmances. Also, this outside alliance business is annoying - it should either be all returnees or none...I just wish they'd have one season that was more 'pure' and see what happens - all this manipulation and weighting of scales is unnecessary. Oh, and bring back the old school diary rooms! Guess this kind of turned into a wishlist...

I don't think it's rigged for Paulie - I just think he'll win, most likely. That said, it's utterly ridiculous there are 3 chances to get back in the game this season.

I'd agree with this if Paulie weren't coming back in the game - now they'll have an unbreakable block of 3 who can win comps, and will take out these girls in a heartbeat. If Paulie comes back with Corey and Nicole in the house - I think there's a good shot that's our final three.

Oh - and he was in good spirits - laughing at Veto, smiling and hugging Vic after Veto - magnanimous as hell - taking everything pretty much in stride, level-headed in the DR (non-crying ones, I mean), even lamenting this game bringing out the worst in him (while crying, again. Jesus) - seriously, who was that guy tonight? Don't know why this is irritating me this much (stupid show) or why I'm surprised, because, BB usually finds a way to do the wrong thing.

Aw, I love Ziggy Marley... Is Paulie still crying / campaigning / douchebagging? Yeah, like others, I'm a little apprehensive about this buy / bring back business. Another thing - everyone's worried about Z going back with Paulie, but I'm not so sure he's not going to give her the cold shoulder when he gets to jury. I guess we'll see if he really liked her (in his own gross way - "boned her!") or if he just needed a number / Victoria for his game. If she's lucky, he'll distance himself when he gets there - might be easier on her in the long run.

What the hell? See, again, I don't get this. Shouldn't the people in production take every step to appear impartial? Even if it's not an endorsement of Paulie specifically, it sure reads that way. It's like they don't care if they raise eyebrows with this kind of stuff. Just odd to me. Meant to add - wouldn't they also want to stay away from endorsing this kind of behavior?
