  1. Poor Jaja looked like she was really struggling - like she could barely get her legs up and couldn't really hit hard on the one small krump-ish move in one of her dances...she must have really done a number to her back.
  2. O Oh my dog - and the tweets are cracking me up...thanks for posting. I needed a few good laughs today..
  3. Vanessa, please do not fumble the ball on the 5 yard line. Woman up and target Austin, Liz or Steve. Gah, this is why you don't throw HOH at final five, JOHN.
  4. Please tell me she'll come to her senses once she gets the hell away from him...otherwise, she's lost her damn mind. So, she's putting up the two people she wants in her final 3? Mmm...that's different. Did she really buy Austin's story that she's his final two?
  5. Thanks for the feedback, Brian...and, yeah, I've seen the comments that she's not the main target, but I have a sneaking suspicion if Austin or Liz win HOH, she'll be gone unless she wins veto. I think those 2 will find a REASON to boot her if they have the chance. Hah! Or what Arya said, I really just don't want to see Austin anymore, nor do I want to see him win - he may deserve it, but he just creeps me out.
  6. Hmm...interesting...I thought everyone was just waiting for the chance to take her out, even via backdoor. I didn't realize she'd gotten back in the Austwins' good graces, since they were all looking to 'blow up her game' over the last 24 hours. Thanks for the insight, feed watchers - will be interesting to see how it plays out, I s'pose.
  7. I don't understand why Vanessa isn't going to work hard on John to get rid of Liz. If Austin is already coming after her, openly or covertly, then Liz is coming for her too. So, why not get rid of Liz and go all in with S & JMac (and work on Julia in the meantime...she just might get her back) and improve their chances of winning comps? Steve can't play next HOH, so she's going to compete against the two biggest possible threats left (and John which, hell, he'll probably throw the way he's going). So weird that she's trying to stay on the Austwins' good side when Austin and a twin are coming for her either way. She has to win comps to stay at this point, so improve your chances of winning them! I have a feeling keeping Liz will be a fatal move for her. Or maybe I'm missing the forest for the trees...
  8. Ooh...no, but I'm curious! I know this is the wrong forum, so could you provide the Season or year this happened? Googled it, but not finding the deets. On topic - boot Liz you maroons!
  9. Exactly 3 years, they share a birthday (11/25), yeah I was curious about the age difference and have no life. I'm shocked this didn't come up with John John during their many parties together.
  10. Ha! Touche... yeah, but you probably would've cut him loose before the big proposal show, given the choice...and if they haven't spoken since that night, what the hell did he do to merit that much disdain...? She looked like she was pissed that he dared exist on her happiest of happy nights...just weird. I think all these folks are suspect, frankly, but thought that was pretty cold.
  11. Yeah, I've totally lost the plot to this season...during auditions they explicitly said street would be dancing in their own style, and now it's just business as usual - street vs. stage and we have one street-ish dance + the group number. I don't understand why this was advertised the way it was - the only difference is they picked half & half, but then make them do the same format as every other season. Could they just not find enough legit street choreographers? It's all fun and games until I have to watch Jaja Viennese Waltz in a trio. Plus, the dancers are highlighted even less as they dance in groups of 3 and 4, so we can make time for Seacrest's new project and other bullshit. Gah, I looked forward to this season, but it's really kind of a mess. The production value is at an all time low. That said, JIm and Jaja were lovely to watch in the one 'street' performance - Jupiter was fun in the jazz piece as well.
  12. I've gotta say, even setting aside Shawn's unsavory personality, from a purely physical standpoint, I think he's more ick than Nick. Ben is the youngest yet most mature (and cutest) of the 3, fo shiz.
  13. Who knew Nene and Christina Aguilera would have so much in common, aside from the platinum hair, I mean... http://www.ew.com/article/2015/05/19/the-voice-season-8-winner
  14. Is there any way Sawyer doesn't win this thing? I like him, Meghan and Koryn (Joshua has a nice voice, but dude is really boring...), so it's hard to go wrong this year with any winner (or, ya know, Sawyer...) Summer breeze was a poor song choice - goes nowhere (energy-wise, I mean), and not a good song for blending their voices very seamlessly... Oh - and those music videos were super cheesy...eek.
  15. Wowza -Sawyer is already at 9 and 11 on iTunes...that's gotta be record speed, yes? Next is Meghan at 23.
  16. Thank gosh my brain finally caught up to the plot of the "Love" trick. For half the song I thought we were going to see a tragic fire breakout or Nate's hair catch flame. Cute, show.
  17. Hilarious. The dancers were also hilarious - completely OTT and there was a boatload of them. That could not have been more awkward and, honestly, is there a single cover of Take Me to the River that evokes go-go even remotely? Very ill-advised. I still love the kid's voice - there's just a quality to it I find compelling; He's not very exciting to watch, and he stays squarely in the center of his lane week over week, but I still like listening to him. I think this season's top 12(?) was pretty solid, actually, save one or two Coreys - one of the better overall groups they've had, IMO.
  18. You know, if we could combine Kimberly's performing abilities and pure vocal skill with Meghan's tone, I'd be a serious fan. I want to like Kimberly - actually I do like HER a lot and she has crazy control over her voice, but her tone is just unpleasant to my ears - that growl she did at the end of DD was both gargle-y and shrill. She does seem like someone I'd love to hang with though... conversely, Meghan's tone (underneath the rasp) is warm and toasty, though she could use a serious dose of Kimberly's charisma, energy and swagger. I know Koryn changed up the melody a little on Everybody Hurts, but she still sounded off-key at times throughout the song - she killed Make It Rain...gorgeous, but I think she might be suffering some vocal fatigue? I didn't love the glory notes either - they don't fit in a wistful song like Everybody Hurts, but I realize that's just a personal preference. I don't love Joshua - he is rather understated with a side of dull, but as someone mentioned last week, he does serve as a nice palate cleanser between all the belters.
  19. Sawyer is #3 in iTunes...that child is an iTunes charting machine... Joshua is up to #16, Kimberly's at #25
  20. Couldn't agree more about Nick, and he is consistently flat on every performance, particularly on the high end notes. He's so, SO average, at best. Bleh.
  21. Interestingly, she's just behind Sawyer on iTunes right now (he's 23, she's at 30) while Kim is at 63. Also interesting, there are several others charting as well, but Mia isn't in the top 200, as of yet anyway. Yeah, Sawyer could stand to mix it up, for sure, or he'll risk being viewed as a one trick pony - but, man, I think the tone & texture of his voice are really compelling.
  22. I also loved Travolta talking about 'a world without criminality; a world without war' while sitting there in head-to-toe camo.
  23. Well, that was certainly unsettling. I don't know that I heard anything new - seems like everything's been said in various media, but seeing it presented all together like that was one ugly little package. Frankly, I think it makes Cruise & Travolta look like (even bigger) fools, and Miscavige is a wee little man - both literally and figuratively. I'm glad we weren't subjected to much of Tommy Davis' yammering - he is as smarmy as Miscavige is creepy.
  24. I cannot wait - I'm mildly obsessed with all things Scientology, primarily because their reps are always so truculent and evasive when confronted with any questions challenging their 'religion', the whole 'Suppressive Person' / detachment concept, the Sea Org 'trafficking', the heavy recruitment of Hollywood types, and, of course, Xenu. Fascinating stuff.
