I know Danny was a weird little dude last season, but this season's shenanigans make Hannah and Bobby both such hypocritical assholes for the way they handled him. Remember when he kissed that girl, and it was the single deadliest sin you could commit on a yacht? You NEVER become part of the customers' experiences, you NEVER fraternize, but there's Bobby on a Tinder date? Mmkay. Also, apropos of nothing, Bobby and Adam are both really, really gross.

I'm with everyone else on frustrations with the editing / camera work, lighting and cuts to judges - especially the judges. Here's what I love about this show, though - when they announce Fikshun, Les Twins or the Jabbas, I know I'm going to see some variation of hip hop - instead of "Fikshun does the Viennese Waltz!" Likewise, when it's a hip hop number, I'm going to watch some of the best in the HH field - not a ballet dancer doing their first ever HH, who's trying to remember not to point their toes the whole routine. I know some folks like to see that growth on SYTYCD, but I find it to be tedious and a missed opportunity - I just want to see people do amazing work in the field they do best - so I love this format. I'm kind of obsessed with Les Twins, but I don't think they've shown their best work here, not by a long shot.

So, I think Cynthia is lovely, is probably a sweetheart, and I'm very happy that she's healthy. That said, I was very underwhelmed to see her as the returning queen. The cucu thing has worn thin already, and I just don't find her interesting. I'm still shocked that she won fan favorite last year, frankly. She does seem very sweet though. I haven't fallen in love with any queen yet, but Peppermint and Valentina are my favorites so far. Whoever said Alexis is Roxxxy the sequel, was spot on - sooo similar.

Ian has a bad ass voice, and is the only one who seems like a real artist / musician - the rest are serviceable pop vocalists. Cravetay is highly overrated, will be autotune-dependent, and is really unlikeable. She's already put herself behind the 8 ball with that name...just dreadful - cloying, clunky and sooo try-hard. Anyhow, it's a shame that strong vocals seem to be an afterthought for today's vocalists.

There are 2 good docs on the Scottish golf course - the first one is You've Been Trumped. I watched these on Amazon about 1.5 year ago. They are infuriating to watch - and little Don Jr. is revealed to be a sleazebag just like pops (we all know this of course, but I hadn't realized this fully until I watched these docs. These should've been standard viewing for all the 'working-class' whites before the election - they would've seen how he treats the 'little guy' in full technicolor. He's a monster.
