For a moment there at the end with Bellamy when the ground rumbled I swear, I was expecting a Dome to pop up. That is NOT a good sign. This show is definitely going down the UTD path. Throw in whatever. It doesn't have to make sense, and it doesn't have to follow through on any of the previous storyline (and I use the term "storyline" loosely-as in pretending there is one.) Really. I hated the whole Tom and his harem plot, but as has been mentioned, why is no one checking on the harem? Doesn't Law Enforcement have a responsiblity to notify next of kin? I mean, really, spend 10 minutes and wrap it up. Oh, well Janine is dead and Rachel drove in front of the train (here's hoping third times a charm). Too bad, and move on. But, no nothing. So next week we are apparently supposed to be shocked and saddened because Henry dies. And this would be shocking and sad why? Note to writers: WE ALREADY KNOW NO ONE STAYS DEAD. Oh well. It will be over soon.

ITA, but it's all part of Brandi's "victim" act. I can't imagine anyone that has watched that skank in action believes she wouldn't take up with a married man if he interested her in the slightest. But by acting so Self-righteous she continues to draw attention to the fact that she was cheated on. Poor, poor Brandi. Except after having watched her for so long, I only wonder how any man, even Eddie the loser, would stay married to her as long as he did. I am not giving him a pass for cheating, I am of the belief that you end your marriage if you are unhappy before you start up with someone else. But he's scum just like Brandi. I personally don't have a much higher opinion of LeeAnn, but I don't think she quite as disgusting as Brandi. Not exactly a high bar to reach, to be sure. I actually think the three of them deserve each other and whatever misery they can spread. However, the problem with that is there are two innocent boys involved and that is tragic. Speaking of the boys, I was thinking about them the other day. I know Eddie has prevented them from being filmed-good fo him on that at least, even if it was for spite, but surely their friends and their friends parents have watched their lying, trashy looking mother on TV discussing getting drunk, eating pussy and whatever else pops into her filthy little mind. How awful for them.

I never watched Lisa R on the daytime soap, but wasn't she on Melrose Place? I don't remember on that, but I thought I read somewhere that she was. At any rate, I always had a pretty negative impresison of her until I saw her on Celebrity Apprentice. I really liked her on that and I am liking her on this as well. Yes., the "I'm to famous" line was unfortunate and very, very snarkworthy but, overall, I think she comes off as pretty self aware, which I like. As for Harry Hamlin's part on Mad Men, someone up thread said it was "brief". In comparison to Jon Hamm or others that's true, he came late to the show, but as far as I know, based on the way last season ended, he is still in the cast and relatively prominent. Granted there are only 7 more episodes to air (and now that Christmas is over. what I will look forward to until April) and they have already been filmed, but I hope he is prominent in at least a few more. I hate his character, but that is because he is doing such a great job playing it. I did forget to snark on Yolanda's single mother comment earlier, but others have done a great job. Yeah divorced from Mohamad, with custody of his children, I am sure you suffered terribly Yo. Probably had to get by without a private plane, poor thing. I work with a single mother who sleeps on the couch so her teenage daughter can have the one bedroom because a one bedroom apartment, in a not great area, is all she can afford. So, by the standards of plenty of hard working single mothers, even Brandi, with her D-lister ex, hasn't ever had it difficult either, so spare me the sympathy plays. -

Do people really have housewariming parties when you move into a rental. Especially when you move into a new rental every year? Brandi dear, as long as you are so stupid that you drive a rented Range Rover while renting your home, you have not made it. There was really too much Brandi. Did I see what I thought I saw in the previews and she throws a glass of something in Eileen's face next week, or was that the editing monkey's playing mind games again? At any rate, I came away more convinced than ever that Brandi needs to go. She so doesn't fit in here. I am not a prude but, honestly who talks about eating P (I hate that word unless it pertains to my pets) and cannot construct a single sentence without the use of the F word? I also notice that Brandi looks so much worse than she did in the beginning. I remember once thinking she was quite pretty. Now her fact is misshapen, she is living proof that you can really be too thin ,she dresses like a slut (appropriate in her case of course) and lordy, lordy that hair. The extensions are god awful and what's with her roots? Brandi looks and acts like trash. Brandi is trash. She needs to be off this show. I too am sick of Yolanda whining about being slighted. I cannot imagine being friends with that woman. All she would do is lecture you. She is a pretentious bitch. I don't like her one bit, but I can't say she doesn't fit on the show. Still meh on Kyle. That seems to be the best I can do with her. Lisa V was rapidly losing me this year, but I gained back some respect last night because of her oh so classy smack down on Brandi. Although I wish she had just admitted tht she showed up because she was contractually obligated to do so. Come on BRAVO, show is some respect. Even though we do watch this show. Still, we know the score. I am still really liking Lisa R. I like her honesty about how much she hustles to stay relevent. I also like the way she treats other people, at least so far. Still good with Eileen too, although for some reason I keep expecting that to change. Maybe just experience with so many other Howives that I once liked and now detest ( Laurie and Heather from OC, Kandi and Cynthia from Atlanta, Caroline from N.J., etc.). Oh did I mention Brandi needs to go? -
Don't even tease me with the idea. It would be so awesomely awesome. I am worrying myself with why I enjoy Kristen's Cray-cray so much. Some things just cannot be explained. Like why anyone would sleep with Jax.

Wow, that pretty much sums it up, doesn't it? I can totally see it thougn. Bitch is an emotiohal vampire.

This. I tried watching that trainwreck "True Tori" and quite honestly could never make it through an entire episode. God awful. Worse, to me it was child abuse being televised. The fact that those poor children of hers were constantly on camera while their parents alternately fought or had meltdowns. Well, No. Just No. I doubt Tori could be on this show anyway because it wouldn't be all about her. Please, let that be true. Brandi and Tori on the same TV show would certainly end the debate about whether or not the US participates in Torture. I'd rather be waterboarded.

I did love the "where is my Chanel eyeliner" line. To quote every housewife who says that? I'll have to try it sometime. Where is my Loreal eyeliner? Also, I generally treat my dogs better than some people treat their children, but the poor, deprived babies do not eat out of designer bowls. On the up side, I've never had the slightest indication it bothers them. They are always waaay more interested in what is in the bowls -

I must have missed that completely. I am sure I tune the skank out whenever possible, but I agree that is offensive. I'm kinda suprised Viveca Fox let that slip by. -

I just have to comment on the many questions regarding Monty/Kim and Monty's second wife. My assumption was second wife is not a current wife, but likely has a relationship with Brooke because she was her stepmother for a time. I was a second wife. My husband had two children by his first marriage. I deveoped an excellent, loving relationship with his son and an amicable one with his daughter. During our marriage, I became friends with the kids mom, my hubby's ex. It makes life so much easier. I have since amicably divorced said husband and remain close to his son and was invited to his wedding. I also remain friends with wife #1. Seven years ago my ex was diagnosed with cancer and told he had 6 months to a year. He is still alive and doing reasonably well. He is now living in Oregon with wife number 3, another lovely lady that I like very much. A few years back wife #1 and I drove to Oregon and spent New Years with "our" ex husband and his current wife. We intended to stay in a hotel but wife number 3 would not hear of it. We had a blast. I hear the neighbors are still talking about it in the small town they live in. So the whole relationship seemed pretty normal to me. As for the rest of the show I have always been a Lisa fan, but she is rapidly losing me this season. Not sure if she is just getting a bad edit, or just getting more annoying. Really Lisa, it's a star in Palm Springs, not a Lifetime achievement award from the Academy. If I were a better person I would feel empathy for Yolanda. I'm not. I really still can't stand her. Still liking Lisa R. and still meh about Eileen. She is the best looking of the Howives though, i think. The best thing about the show is Brandi was not in it much. WTF happened to Viveca Fox's career that she is reduced to appearing on the Skank's podcast? THAT was sad. I felt worse for her than for Yolanda. -
This. I am loving Kristen's Cray-cray. Yes, it's normal to want to look good when you see your ex, but not to dress up. Hair, make-up, normal attire. She so clearly cannot let go. I really don't want a storyline on Jax and the new chick. I really don't want a storyline on Jax, period, but watching him bed another chick? Yawn.

S05.E04: Livin' La Vida Housewife

Not if it entailed keeping her mouth shut........ It's funny because I have hated LeAnn for years, since she sued her own father, and I was one of many all too willing to accept and like Brandi. The poor deserted wife, how very sad. I liked her at first. Convinced myself she was just naive and too honest and was being picked on. She actually played that well the first season. Of course as time went on I saw the real Brandi. Then last year by the time LeAnn and Eddie's show started I was willing to jump to their camp. Except they are equally horrid. Truth is the three of them truly deserve each other. Sadly though, there are two innocent children stuck in the middle of that particular clusterfuck. That always seems the way, unfortunately. I had never heard that particular rumor, but then I had to google Eileen Davidson to see what she looked like when it was announced she was joining the show. However, according to that article, she is in her mid fifties? Did I read that right? Because "their" son looked pretty young and the woman does not look over 40 to me. -
I am glad I didn't watch this because I'm sure the Pig storyline would have sent me over the edge. I am already so fed up with this lunatic I can't even sit through her intereviews on already stupid shows like Access Hollywood. On the Hospital stays, as has already been said, there is no way on earth an Insurance company is paying for a 13 day stay for bronchitis and or a sinus infection. Anyone consider that Candy may be paying? It seems as much as she clearly doesn't want to indulge most of Tori's reckless speinding, she is willing to pay for the kids education. So, I can totally see Tori guilting her in to paying medical expenses. It would be tough, as a mother, to risk saying no on the off chance that her kid is truly sick.

Well, Brandi has most certainly not kept her mouth shut has she? Besides, I am not sure how wealthy LeeAnn is. Certainly not Julia Roberts wealthy. LeeAnn is not a songwriter, and her career has pretty much been in the toilet for years now. She started out as Country, then tried the switch over to pop but was never really succesful at that. Then, like many others who have turned their back on Country in favor of Pop, she discovered that when you do that, you are not welcomed back. Only a few really big stars, like Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers (huge in their day) have ever pulled that off and even they suffered some in the short term. Eddie was and is a D list actor on his own, so there was certainly no huge settlement coming there. Although I certainly agree with the stupid part. She has still been given opportunities far beyond what most women have, and she is too stupid to make the right financial decisions. -

Yes to this. So far Lisa Rinna is coming across as a really nice person and someone you might actually want as a friend. I liked her, much to my surprise, when she was on Celebrity Apprentice as well, so I am optimistic. Jury still out on Eileen, but she certainly is pretty and it seems mostly natural. Which my just mean she has a really good plastic surgeon, but still..... As a dog lover I actually kind of enjoyed the dog shopping spree. Yes, I will admit it publicly, I buy clothes for my dogs. However, I buy them at Target or Walmart and, for a real splurge, Petsmart (which is actually more expensive than the others). Brandi really needs to go. She is adding nothing to the show. I have trouble following her lies. She just got a big "six figure" check from her book so the stupid bitch goes and rents a car? She needed a 6 figure check to put three grand down on a car? WTF? Doesn't even make sense. That is aside from the stupidity factor. Buy a decent mid priced vehicle and put some money away to buy a freakin' house so your kids don't have to move every year. I just find Yolanda boring this year. Last year I hated her so I guess that's an improvement. I also realized that I find Kyle really boring. The scenery was lovely, but there is just nothing interesting to me about her. I don't hate her, just meh. That's really the best I have ever been able to muster with her. -
My take was they were leaving Earth, not just going away. Since BG seems to be the one with all the answers I just assumed she could make it happen. Hopefully the show will be back in January and we'll know for sure. At least about that part.
-
But I assume it will be back on 1/4 as they said? I wondered why there were no previews since the shows must certainly be filmed by now. I have no doubt this is the last season, but I am still wishing they would give us some type of wrap up come January. Not likely, but I keep hopiing.
-
Yes, that seems to be Andy's new trick. WWHL ratings must be dismal. Show is so lame, with his stupid games, so he tries to get everyone to record the full 90 minutes. Guess he doesn't get that just because it's recorded we don't have the watch it.
-
This is insane even for Tori. Yes, they were both cheated on by Dean which might create something of a bond except for.............oh yeah you, Tori are the skank he cheated on her with! It is mentioned upthread about the take on this train wreck by The Soup, and I have yet to hear a positive comment about this. I realize Tori is totally delusional, but does she not have internet access? Can she not see that this show is ruining her "career"? I mean I get she's not Meryl Streep, but there are a fair number of people who either didn't much care about her, or actually kind of liked her. Now , it seems everyone sees her as the self absorbed spoiled, crazy beast she is. There is no way in hell that Dean would still be there without at least the possibility of some of that Spelling money coming his way. No way.

I too am liking Lisa Rinna and I love Harry Hamlin and love to hate him on my favorite show Mad Men. If any of you do not watch that, you should try to catch it when it comes back in April for it's final 7 shows if only to see what a fabulous job Harry does in that role. I haven't seen enough of Eileen to form an opinion yet, she's attractive and more natural looking than most of the women. I have long wanted Kim gone because I think she is a snooze, but I have to admit to being touched with the situation with her ex husband. My ex was diagnosed with Cancer seven years ago and told he had 6 months to a year. He is still alive although it's been a hard road for him, Chemo is a bitch, but it has kept him alive. We are also very close and love each other very much, although we are definitely not "in love", he is and will always be family. So I totally get it. Kyle just really mostly bores me. I don't hate her, I don't love her. I cannot stand Yolanda, she is arrogant and stupid. It is obvious to me that she would prefer her daughters not to go to college. All that crap about maybe missing opportunities because of college. That is just ignorant. You want your daughters goal in life to be to snag a really rich dickhead like the one you married and consider that a "career goal"? Welcome to 2014 idiot. Thank god their father has some sense. Brandi really needs to move on. I am mostly enjoying the show, I even enjoyed watching Kathy be a bitch, although I am glad we had a small dose of it. I am not, however, enjoying listening to her "poor me" crap. How the F does her owing Eddie money for back alimony (which is what it was, not child support) effect her ability to buy a house? First of all, it's resolved and second it's not like Eddie shows up as a lien holder on her credit report. I work in the mortgage industry. My bet is Brandi can't buy a house because she has crap credit. Also, all those moves are Eddies fault? How, exactly. I have a single mom in a rental that I have and she, and her son, have been there for 15 years. She pays her rent, keeps the place clean and causes absolutely no problems. I'm happy if she stays indefinitely and I have been happy to replace her flooring, paint the place, make other upgrades that I would have had to do anyway if she moved and re-rented it. For some reason, I doubt Brandi's landlords would feel the same about her. I don't like Eddie and LeeAnn either, but I am sick to death of hearing Brandi whine. Move on already. I loved the way Lisa handled her phone call. Bitch thinks she can do anything she wants and then spout her "i'm not perfect" crap and everyone will move on? Nope. I wouldn't and I hope Lisa doesn't either. I am, in fact, disappointed in Kyle for her totally fake "friendship" with the Skank. Does anyone believe that, were it not for the TV show, that any one of these women would give Brandi the time of day? I mean, really, the rest of them have their faults but every single one of them outclass Brandi by miles. -
Or "The House of Doom"

chlban replied to Tara Ariano's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
It's total bullshit. Remember it came out of the skank's mouth. There is no way in hell Eddie is only paying $1000 in child support. I work with a guy that makes $80,000 a year base-there are bonuses that take to about $110,000, but he pays $2000 a month for one chld. There is no way in hell he is court ordered to that amount. Remember you can always tell if Brandi is lying. She is speaking. I know that is supposed to read "her lips are moving" but with the Skank, moving lips tend to bring other things to mind. -
Yes, I saw that. Those two weeks off were a mistake. Although the end was inevitable as the story meandered into UTD territory anyway so it was just a matter of tine. I just wish the writers would rush back in and give us a wrap up. Except the would have to have a direction to do that, and clearly they don't. I am giving up on this type of show. It's like "Lost" where they start out with a mystery that really seems interesting. You get al linvested and then, just like here, realize that all they ever had was mysterious elements. Not a realy mystery, which would ultimately lead to a resolution. Like "How to Get Away With Murder". There are tons of unbeliebable plot contrivances in that show, but there actually appears to be a solution so people tune in. In droves. So, I don't think it has to be all that beleivable, just have a direciton and a solution.
-
I cannot believe how much I love this train wreck. I think all those years of watching the Real Housewives has truly fried my brain. Am I the only one that choked when Schwartz said that the way Jax was going on and on about his relationship with Katie, it seemed "almost" like a jealous lover would react? Uh, yeah, Because if he isn't a jealous lover he sure wants to be. There are really no words for how horrid Jax is. Butting into his friends relationship (always a kiss of death to a friendship....well at least among normal humans). Still being on his parents insurance at 34 and actually telling someone outside the family? But the way he spoke to Katie was too much. I don't like Katie any more or less than the rest of the women on this show, but that was horrid and her "Boyfriend" sitting there allowing it and then STAYING with the creep calling her out while she leaves? Really, no words. Katie obviously has zero self esteem. Stassi is an entitled bitch and should really go. She adds nothing. There are plenty of other whiners, ,we don't need her and her imaginary boyfriend. As for the poor dog. I have currently and have had several rescued dogs.Granted some rescues are stricter than others, but even the most laid back require you to fill out an apploication. I don't know of a single reputable rescue group that will adopt to a couple or a family until every member of the family has met the dog. Because dogs acquired as "gifts" are often those later abandoned. I call BS on the dog story line. I just don't believe it. Heather on RHOOC caught endless hell for buying puppies instead of rescuing, so I think BRAVO wanted to avoid that and this whole storyline was set up. Tom "rescues" a dog and surprises Katie. Bullshit. OTOH, if I am wrong and it's real, shame on the rescue group. Those two idiots should not be allowed to adopt a goldfish. All anyone had to do was sit through a few episodes of this train wreck (because you must have noticed those camera's) and know better.
