They really need to establish another system. If "one of them", even in the broadest sense, like say Aiden, is being eaten alive, for god's sake, A bullet to the head. Please.
  2. So true. I am dying to use Shameless Strumpet in a sentence!
  3. Is it wrong that I love Patricia? OK then, But I love Cameran too, does that help? I am really looking forward to this season. I would question your statement about the literacy of the HoWives. You really think 5% are well spoken?

Isn't that kind of the point though? I haven't been watching new episodes that long, I got trapped in a Marathon and did most of my viewing there, but it kind of seems like the minute they start giving a reason to care about a character, particularly if they haven't been around that long, they're toast. Or perhaps Zombie chow is a better description. Even with Douchey, they had to show mom and dad saying good bye when last time he went on a run Mom didn't seem even remotely concerned. As soon as I saw that, and the scene with Noah talking about the future and wanting to learn that both of them were casualties. I didn't assume it would come last night, but I figured by the Season Finale they were both goners. I actually have a similar vibe about Jessie, although I don't think it will happen this season. But I will take that to another thread.

I think she was eyeing him as a lunatic, rightfully so. If he had presented a rational theory, it would have had more effect but when he started raving about Satan? Yeah, alrighty then. Of course you know I need some time to think about this, so um, get the F out of my house you raving nutcase. However, one has to wonder how she reacts when she finds out her son is dead. Punching him is one thing, a dead son is altogether different. Especially since you know Douchy 2 is going to blame our guys. She still isn't going to buy the Satan stuff, but the fact that the group brings death and destruction. Well, there is that. BTW, if you are living in the Zombie Apocalypse, where you have to worry about being eaten by dead people that have come back to life, even if one was extremely religious, does one really need to be looking for a "disguised" Satan? I mean, you are living in pretty much anyone's definition of hell already. I co-sign with shooting people in the head if they are about to be eaten. I don't think that makes me Carol crazy either. I was not evena little surprised when Noah was killed. I knew it in the opening scene when he started talking about the "future" .Obviously Noah does not watch the show or he would have known better. If there is any justice Father Pee Pants is next. I won't be surprised though, if it's Pete. I don't like the domestic violence storyline. Waaaay to convenient and contrived. I am also just really not interested. Not really interested in another disturbed kid storyline either. I think last night was a preview of what the issue is going to be now. Deanna will blame them for Douche's death. Rick and Carol have decided Porchdick has to die, because I guess just offering Jessie and the kid refuge and protection would be too boring. So, here it comes all kinds of conflict from within. One question related to Talking Dead. The host last night called them ASZhats? Does he read these boards?
  6. Kim ignoring Kyles texts, if thats true, is another example of what a horrid person she is. Her child is in trouble. Its been clear that Kylle loves Kim's kids and vice versa. A decent mother, a decent person would be encouraging that love. She should be making it clear to Chad that his aunt is calling texting and very concerned. But like everything else I have no doubt Kim is making this all about HER. What a vile piece of human garbage is Kim Richards.
  7. Oh Cooksdelight I think I love you. But dont worry wont stalk you like Brandi. I have been trying to figure out how to fit "shameless strumpet" into a sentence since I heard it on a preview of "Southern Charm".

For sure there's no cable TV!
  9. I do love Haloween but in this case not so much. On the hose debate I wore them for decades, corporate world, but never ever ever any more.
  10. This may be the best explanation of all as to how Brandi went from being a sympathetic favorite to being one of the most hated women on television.. I know I made excuses for her. Poor Brandi, she has been through the public humiliation of the Eddie/Leann affair. Poor Brandi, she doesn't really know how to maneuver in these social situations but, bless her heart, she'll learn. Except she doesn't and she won't. The racist comments to Joyce last year were the final straw for me. By the time she turned her venom on Lisa V (BTW, how's that working out for you, bitch?) I had already given up. Brandi doe snot have one ounce of self awareness. I know there are still some losers telling her how wonderful she is on twitter or whatever, but if she's capable of using the internet, which we all know she is, then she knows how much she is hated and how many people want her fired. I think that is why she has started dropping little hints about quitting. Pre-emptive strike. Personally, I hope BRAVO gives her a show of her own. Then just like that Manzo crap, or the disaster that is Kim from Atlanta, I don't have to watch it and hopefully will never see the bitch again.
  11. I was just glad to see a case where the kid is not supporting murdering parent. That was refreshing. Long Beach is my home town, born and raised there so it was interesting to see a case from there. I had long since moved on when the murder took place. I remember driving around in the Bixby Knolls neighborhood where the murder took place. That house was definitely one of the smaller, more modest houses in the neighborhood. It is made up of older custom homes that range from the smaller ones like this, to huge mini mansions. It's a really beautiful area.
  12. I think Yo gets her in the sense that Yo knows not to cross the evil bitch. Unfortunately I suspect that Yo only figured that out after spilling some personal details she would rather not have broadcast on National TV. Not saying there is a deep, dark horrible secret, but everyone, including reality stars, have things they would rather not be broadcast but Brandi has proven over and over she has absolutely no limits.
  13. Yes sir, Mother of the year here. Dear Eddie, Good move, what took you so long?

It does seem pretty odd to me that the group didn't ask more questions about the "exiles". I hardly think "not fitting in" would be sufficient under the circumstances. I really can't stand the nut that lives next door to me and would throw a block party if he moved, but in a Zombie Apocalypse even I, bitch that I am, couldn't exile him outside the gates. Well, we don't have gates, but you get my drift. As she alluded to it is tantamount to ordering their deaths, so I would think it was something pretty extreme, but were I the new kids in town I would certainly want to know not only what it takes to get yourself exiled but also what said exiles might be capable of if they haven't yet all been killed.
  15. This, is absolutely priceless: "Just to be clear: the problem isn’t Kim showing up completely shitfaced on national TV. The problem is that people talked about it. I also love that Brandi is playing the “You’re ruining her life” card when Brandi said on national TV that she is too afraid to confront an obviously still using Kim and that the problems are way worse than anyone even knows. This woman is. The. WORST. And I was here during the Maloof years " Says it all. The problem couldn't possibly be Kim (twitch) and Brandi. It's always everyone else. One more great line: "Lisa calls her on being an asshole, but that’s the point so Brandi just laughs at herself and pretends the entire country doesn’t hate her ass and write cards to Eddie in our heads that say “We get it. Good choice"."

But they are kind of oblivious. I mean there are at least two intact families that we know of and it appears there are others. Deanna's family, and Jessie's. Mom, dad, and two kids. Even at the farm they had already lost a wife/mother and son/brother. The Governor lost his wife and daughter. That is what struck me here. So I guess if you still have your family intact, you are living in very nice houses, have showers regularly and food it's a lot easier to deal with the loss of Cable TV and having to ration chocolate. I still just don't understand how it is that they have remained so seemingly unscathed. Even if the dubious wall keeps the Walkers out, it's pretty astonishing they haven't been take over by some bad guys by now. I sort of think it's all just a set up to drive home to the viewers just how naïve this little group of ASZhats are. This is not going to end well.
  17. I have never been more convinced of anything than I am that Brandi has something on Yolanda. She let something slip to a person she thought was her friend, and I think when Brandi threatened her with the "people" think Bella is an alcoholic which, as usual, is total bullshit. It every teenager that drinks too much and does something foolish is an alcoholic, then that would be, let's see, every single student at Cal State Long Beach while I was there. At any rate, I think that is when the proverbial light went on for Yolanda and she knew, she was not immune from the venom. I think were it not for this, Yolanda would be just as done as everyone else seems to be. Now, they all need to refuse to film with her.
  18. I was cheated on when I was young and engaged to the love of my life. The first time, I forgave and believed him when he said it would never happen again. The second time (that I found out about, there were probably others) I did one of the hardest things I've ever done and broke off the engagement four months before the long planned wedding. It broke my heart. Although I met a very good man. fell in love and married him, my ex-fiancé' remains the love of my life. When my marriage was ending, amicably, after many years my husband told me that he had felt I had one foot out of the marriage from the day we wed. Sadly, I think he was right. When my heart broke at 21, I vowed to never, ever be hurt like that again and, probably as a result,, I never loved like that again either. So, yeah I get how awful cheating is. Even when I realized my marriage was over and I wanted out, I knew that never, under any circumstances, would I cheat. I loved and respected my husband too much to do that to him. However, all these years later I have learned many lessons in life and one of them is that everything isn't always black and white. Sometimes good people to bad things. I still don't condone cheating, I never will. But neither will I hate or judge every person who has ever done so. Like many viewers I had nothing but sympathy for Brandi when this show started. I wanted to like her and support her. But, after seeing her behavior all these years, I believe she is a truly nasty, evil woman and a terrible mother. So, her judging anyone is a bit hard for me to take. I like Eileen. If she cheated, too bad. I don't approve. But I still like her and I still believe she is a far, far better person than Brandi. Of course, barring serial killers, I think most people are better people than Brandi. I also don't doubt for one millisecond that, if the situation suited her, Brandi would hop into bed with a married man.
  19. As a newbie to the series, I am kind of shocked at the reaction to Jessie. I got most of my viewing in, by ways of a marathon, so I may not have attached the way others have, that have been in from the start, but I find it interesting. Although the shows are nothing alike, the reaction seems a bit like what we Mad Men long term fans went through when Don married Megan. Since I am an absolute Megan Hater, I am not passing judgment on any fans that are put off by Jessie, but I just don't have a strong reaction to her one way or the other. Even in watching via marathon I had a really solid Lori hate by the time she met her end, so the bar is really low, IMO. But I am open to see where the story line leads and go from there. I sort of feel like they are throwing in a character that we probably aren't going to care much about in order for the dramatic response from Rick when she somehow becomes Zombie chow. I wish the zombies would do a "cross over" and get rid of Megan for us.
  20. Women on BRAVO have what I consider really weird view on being friends. I think you can pretty much murder their family members and as long as you apologize, it's okey dokey. Not in my world. One serious insult and, while I may be nice to your face at social gatherings again, you will never, ever be forgiven and we will never, ever be friends. But then, I'm a bitch. I am not quite sure when this happened, but I think I now hate Ariana more than any of the other women on this show. She is exactly what I figured she was, the Queen of Denial. You could have video of Tom screwing another woman on top of the LA times with today's date, and she would deny it. I HATE women like that, but you can't fix stupid. Interesting that BRAVO managed to pick up that Vail was hardly a hit with viewers since it was pretty clear in the beginning of the season that she was to be a featured player and now, well no Vail. Which is a good thing. I just hope they are as tuned into the fact that we hate that hanger on Christina, or whatever her name is (she's not worth bothering to check), and get rid of her altogether. The reunion was OK, but the actual show was better. I am going to miss this and will have to make do with Southern Charm.
  21. I was wondering if there is a thread on the American Version. Saw the premiere last night and I am pretty glad I have never seen the version that Sundance was showing (assume that was the French version?) because I really liked the premiere. The only similar show I had to compare it to was Resurrection, so the bar admittedly isn't very high.

So sorry to hear that. All of my cats are former strays, and I had a former feral that made it 15 years, and I still miss him. Buttons is a great name, I can't believe I haven't snagged that one yet

I agree. I don't see Jessie as a long term character. I could be wrong of course, but my guess is she's on the short list for Zombie chow. Edited to ask, is there a thread for guesses on who the next cast member to, shall we say, "leave the show" will be? Not spoilers, just guesses? Tacky, I know, but just wondering.

Weil I am a major animal lover with a houseful of rescues to prove it and if they a really harmed a horse or really shot and eaten dogs. you can bet I would quit the show and raise hell. However, luckily, I understand this is a TV show. I don't enjoy any scene that shows violence to animals. But then I am probably in the minority in that I hate the head stomping and brain exploding scenes too. I just remind myself they aren't real.

Well they are in the middle of the Zombie Apocalypse, so I would imagine that takes the concept of "living in the moment" to a whole new level. I guess since I am a newbie and got my background via marathon watching I may have a different perspective, but I don't have a problem with the Rick, Jessie storyline. I am neither rooting for or against them as a couple although she did get on my nerves with here little speech about all they've lost last night. I mean, honey, you have an intact family. Hubby may be a dickhead, but he was probably a dickhead long before the ZA so, whatever. You are giving a speech to a widower. You may not want to give the same speech to Maggie and I would very, very strongly advise NOT to give it to Carol.
