Drew Carey is a Marine Corps veteran, so it was cool seeing him play one - that younger pic of him in BDUs they used was a real military photo of his. I like the idea of Jack, but I haven't warmed up to Maria Bello's performance for some reason - I used to love her on ER, so I'm not sure what's missing here for me. The lack of Abby and Gibbs is REALLY OBVIOUS showrunners, so because of that I have to assume she's leaving the show because of a real life issue between her and Mark Harmon.

I had the same problem, I was like "Damn, he's good!" lol.

I've always thought that was Grace in a nutshell - horrible clothes are her "thing" lol.

Yeah, I didn't know Shalita Grant was leaving until after this episode, because that comment had me worried, so I came here to read the media thread lol. I'm really disappointed, she's my favourite character. But what else can I expect from this show? They turfed McLellan when the cast was gelled and good and it ruined the show, IMO. Aside from LaSalle and Loretta, there aren't any likeable characters on this show anymore. It's been a lesson in tanking a series, that's for sure.

S01.E10: Head of Household #5; Nominations #5

I think the plastic surgery not only ages her, but I tend to assume women getting it are in their 60s+ (or 50s if they're Hollywood types). So it automatically ages someone just by the fact they're so obviously doing it. -
I think she looks like Cree Summer.

Yeah, my first thought with Khrystyana's story is that her father sold her. Sign me up for a Khrystyana/Jeana finale.

HOLY CRAP is Brandi really 45??? Wikipedia says so but the source is dodgy, because I would have bet good money that she was in her late 50s. -
This was a lot like watching regular Big Brother because I don't know who most of these people are lol. 1) SO much bad plastic surgery and fillers. HD is not kind to some of these people. 2) Never seen a more self absorbed and unaware human being as James Maslow. I was embarrassed for him. 3) WHAT DID I DO TO DESERVE FUCKING PAUL!??! Ugh. I can't go 6 months without seeing his face? Come on, CBS.

It's really noticeable when Percy is gone. And can we stop having mayoral stuff on this show? No more mayors!

I really hope Kendall was manipulating Krystal. It knocked Krystal off her game to be approached with this sheen of "I feel bad for you". It was patronizing, but because Kendall hit the nail of "you've had a tough life" Krystal couldn't reply the way you know she wanted to. She says no she hasn't had it tough and her martyr storyline is gone, she says yes she has had it tough and looks like a someone with a tonne of emotional baggage. Kendall set herself up as bringing it up out of understanding and concern, so Krystal responding negatively to that makes her look even worse (and I think she knew it). Kendall really set herself up nicely to look above Krystal's behaviour, while completely smacking her down and coming out smelling like a rose.

April 22 according to the trailer.

THAT'S where I know her from!! It was driving me crazy.

Damn, I was hoping it wasn't Texas so I wouldn't have to rewatch it lol.

Which season was the Quickfire challenge where they had to cook with peppers, and the hotter one you chose, the higher the prize money? I really loved that challenge, but damn if I can remember what season it was lol.

The guy playing Crocken (sp?) was on an episode of Criminal Minds. Mac Brandt (the sovereign dude) was on Kingdom with Lina Esco. I have a feeling Jessica has underestimated just how much this proposal is going to blow back on her.

So is Barnes going to come out into the field and step on a murder victim's hair next?

I loved the scene with them infiltrating the compound Verena was being held in, and Verena's little smiles as she realized what was happening lol.

Claudette and Helen from Project Runway All Stars should hang out in the Miserable Bitch cave together. Two hours of unpleasant people on my TV was a lot to bear lol. I don't get why Claudette thinks her food is so different and innovative. There are other Mexican cooks in the world, you know, Claudette.

Ugh, Helen is so draining. It must be so exhausting to be a miserable bitch all the time. Maybe that's why she always looks so sickly. Anthony, on the other hand, is delightful. I want to hang out with him. What was Helen whining "I never do this" and Anthony is all "You actually do it kinda often ..." lol.

And here's me in the corner thinking about what a colossal asshole LaSalle's father is lol. Seriously though, the man lies by omission by not tell his son he's sick (yet everyone else knows), went behind his back and made him executor knowing it was going to happen sooner rather than later, and ignored his son's wishes and dumped an entire company and the responsibility for it and the people involved into his lap without one word. Asshole. And stepmommy didn't see fit to tell LaSalle about Cade relapsing, but she'll let Chris go visit him and tell him daddy's popped off. I can see why his father married her. If I was LaSalle, I'd sell the company the first second I was able and get the hell back to NOLA.

I love Sly - from him calling out Paige and her behaviour toward Flo, to helping wingman for Ralph with Patty, he was on point in this episode.

Was that Anne Heche's husband?? Overall, I was more interested in the missing US hacker girl than the backstory stuff with Patricia. I find her a more interesting character in the present, and I didn't really care for the flashbacks. It was dull. I hope the second part gets more interesting. I wish we'd been able to spend more time with Verina. I did like the Amir had no issues admitting when he's in over his head and he has a gut feeling things are off, as do we all lol.

With the opiod crisis, I'm sure Noelani would have a very well stocked naloxone cabinet. You can get kits for free here right now it's so bad. I have no investment in Koa at all. Not interesting to me in the least. I do love Pua. He looked different to me - couldn't figure out if the actor changed his hair or something, because he looked different but I couldn't put my finger on why. I did love how he didn't reclaim the tools - because wasn't that fire the one Steve lifted the house out of? Yeah, you let them keep those tools lol.
