No, to me it seemed like a joke. I thought what they did was really unique and, strangely enough, calming. I thought the singers this episode were all pretty good--weakest would be the Ed Sheeran-wannabe; then the Deaf lady; and then the little 9-year-old with the wicked pipes!

It makes them look totally plastic! Kyle, I think, has the best work out of all of them. She looks fantastic. Rinna just becomes more of a caricature of herself.

My child has autism. Even children with "genetic" issues can be a blessing to this world and contribute something great. Which can be hard to say for some neurotypical people!

I cannot stand Brooke. Not only is she lacking in talent, but she is a married woman fawning all over Matt for everyone in the world to see. I paid close attention -- they always touch each other, look at each other first after something happens, and sit next to each other. Another contestant said Matt has a "crush" on Brooke, and I can see that, but they both need to respect the fact she is married. Even if her husband is a douche. Matt did say something about focusing on finding a girlfriend as he left the boardroom after his win!

Not only did Kody completely bungle the vows, when he got to the "traditional" part of the ceremony (Do you, Caleb, take this woman...) he spoke so fast I had a hard time following. Other than that part, when he was speaking about himself, he sure was careful to speak slowly and clearly. Ugh. I have not heard anything about Mariah being gay so this is a surprise to me. I might have to do some Googling on this.

I think bringing Steven Brundage (Rubik's cube guy) back was a good call -- he's got a large fan base, it seems, based on Twitter. So someone upthread mentioned they knew how Jon did that magic trick--do tell! Or point me to a link where I can find out myself. I'm so out of the loop when it comes to magic, so any little bit is fascinating to me. It was kind of a boring night...

This is my favorite RH franchise because it is so unabashedly trashy. It's like, the other franchises will get down into the mud but there's this complicated societal-mores dance they do before they do it. With Melbourne, they just get right down into the mud with no pussy-footing around. I can't stand Lydia--simply cannot stand. She spends so condescendingly to her housekeeper and is obviously making fun of her in both her talking heads and in person. The more I think about it, the more I become filled with rage. Last night I wondered why the housekeeper simply doesn't find a job somewhere else, and I think it's because Lydia essentially has her hostage. If Johanna left her, Lydia would not give her a good reference, I just know it. I just have a soft spot for Gamble, I don't know why. She looks like some kind of Picasso art. Still love Gina and Chyka, although Chyka's daughter is ugh. I don't like Jackie, and never have...her crazy eyes bug me. God, I'm so happy it's back!!!! I cannot believe this franchise is not more popular!

Thank you, that was bothering me. Although this time around it looked like Tommy (?) didn't look at the money from Simon--he had it facing Simon. No way I could remember a number that long that quickly so good for him! This is my first time watching AGT; so many episodes devoted to auditions! I do hope they bring back Rubik's Cube guy. I really, really like the juggler guy. And he's pretty handsome without the weird makeup, too.

This is my first time watching this show, and I love it! Even the "filler" acts are entertaining, at least for a first-timer like me. The topic isn't up for tonight's acts...I loved Katie (?), the adopted girl with the stoic father. I also liked Deadly Games -- that is one good-looking and brave couple. I'm kind of sad the Rubics cube guy didn't get through, as I enjoyed his charming demeanor, but he's so talented he'll be better off somewhere else.
