  1. Since Courtney was raised by two gay fathers, I would imagine that she would have absolutely no problem "coming out" from day one, if she was gay. It would be completely normal and legitimate for her. I don't get her apprehension.
  2. Why has Zach been spending so much time with Alex, helping him with his rehab so much? I don't get it. Clay gets less and less likeable each episode of season 2. He is super selfish as well. Porter has really really lost it. He will end up in a mental institution before long.
  3. I would have preferred a show featuring Magnum's daughter, Lily, who came from the episodes with Magnum's wife Michelle, which I think were the two best episodes of the original series. Lily would be what, late 20's-early 30's now? Selleck could have guest starred as her father Thomas Magnum in a few episodes as well. Will the T.C. and Rick characters be featured in the new show?
  4. That's a wrap. Three months from now, will anybody even remember that this show existed?
  5. These characters are one of this biggest collections of narcissistic jerk-offs I have seen in a show. I wouldn't want to spend ten seconds interacting with any of them. Are they typical of New York City hipster millennial yuppies?
  6. Who was in the picture that Clay had? I couldn't see it clearly enough to tell what/who it was. Line of the episode: Clay to Tony: You did nothing wrong. Tony to Clay: You don't know everything I did, Clay. Porter was such a deer-in-the-headlights, no clue, milquetoast, incompetent dud in season one.. Shocked to see him show emotion and go after Bryce. He's losing it.
  7. The principal is absolutely awful. He is only concerned with covering his ass and avoiding the heat coming down on him. Typical educational bureaucrat.
  8. Absolutely shocked to see Axe and Chuck have a calm and civil conversation with each other. Never thought I'd see that! I think Dake is gone for good.
  9. The guy is a complete dork. She can do better.
  10. So when does Season 2 premier? March 13th was five weeks ago and its not here yet.
  11. I think the show's creators/producers DELIBERATELY set out to create a character who is a completely narcissistic, pompous, delusional, selfish, insufferable jackass in Lou. He is a true piece of work. Even Robbie, with complete disrespect and disregard blurted, "This isn't about you, Lou!!!" Good for him. Line of the series so far!!!
  12. Funny that Lilette yelled at Robbie that his Dad left his sick Mom to be with a younger woman...she was right. I thought for certain that Shemar Moore was playing Robbie's Dad until I looked it up on IMDB. What's with all the strange/goofy first names of characters? Maashous? Lilette? Gordy? I don't think there are ten teenagers in the whole country who have those names.
  13. You have to give John Legend a lot of credit. His background is that of a singer and recording artist, not an actor (outside of a small roll in La La Land) and certainly not as a musical theater performer. Yet he was secure enough to tackle this project, likely knowing he would be outshined by all the seasoned theater pros who did so well. I thought he was at his best during the Temple song and scene. Of course his performance was surpassed by Dixon and all the other pros, but give him credit for his courage in doing this project. I Don't Know How To Love Him is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard in my life. Props to Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice for writing such a profound song at such a young age. Murray Head of "One Night In Bangkok" fame?? Lol!!! That was a goofy song!
  14. Wow...I guess my suggestion of Bill Bixby grounded this game to a halt!!
  15. Alisha Boe, who plays Jessica was in Season 3 (plus the Season 4 premier) of the show Ray Donovan on Showtime. She played the friend/classmate of Ray's daughter Bridget. Brian d'Arcy James was in the show Smash, playing the husband who was cheated on by Debra Messing's character. Derek Luke, who plays Mr. Porter, appeared in the Friday Night Lights movie (which came before the TV show) as star running back Boobie Miles, who suffers a major injury threatening his future. He also appeared in the film Antwone Fisher, with Denzel Washington.
  16. What a collection of rotten human beings, those high school kids. I would list as exceptions Tony, who seemed to be the only one with a sense of remorse and who really didn't do anything wrong or immoral. Clay was just a putz who was so blinded by love that he couldn't think straight and Zach was just a doofus...guilty of being dumb as a rock. I would consider the rest of the kids evil, rotten bastards. The adults were even worse, amazingly out of touch and oblivious to everything going on. The sleazy principal was a political hack only interested in covering his ass. All the parents were living in a fantasy world/bubble. That must have been similar to the Columbine shooters' parents who had no clue what their sons were doing. How sad. Mr. Porter was completely out to lunch and had no business being a counselor. He was way in over his head doing that job. What a cesspool for someone troubled like Hannah to have to function, yet she had her faults too.
  17. I agree with you completely. A lot of the BS was related to all the Abby flashbacks and everything related to that. The show came back to greatness when all that was done. I think there is huge potential for a great Season 6, with the manner in which the story ended this season. Though I love how the geography of the Los Angeles metropolitan area (my home) has played such an intriguing role in the show, the setting in New York should be fascinating as well.
  18. I thought Ray sold his house. The escrow must be taking a really long time to complete. Wasn't Bridget attending college in New York? Did she drop out or is she just home for a winter/spring/summer break?? Was her "boyfriend" actually dead in the end? Maybe Natalie wasn't dead...she looked like she could have been just passed out. Who killed her sleazebag husband?
  19. What an absolutely horrible song!! That was actually recorded by an artist and released for public purchase? A toddler pounding on a piano keyboard would make better music. Ray was absolutely cruel to Bridget. She had just lost her mother and he had no interest in comforting a daughter he supposedly loves...instead screams at her to get the f... out. What will happen to the relationship between Ray and Terry, moving forward? Maybe Terry should move to New York permanently and work as a boxing trainer there.
  20. Don't be surprised to see Avi return, likely soon. Once the dust settles regarding Barnes' death, I can see Avi coming back.
  21. Just die Abby! Put us out of our misery. There is nothing worse than seeing her whine, bellyache and wallow in delusion and self pity! I think Natalie/the actress who plays her is one of those attractive women who other women can't stand and guys like me find stunningly beautiful. Is the character George just there for comic relief? I don't get the point of that character. Might be the biggest weirdo in the history of the show.
  22. Jon Voight is 78. Susan Sarandon is 70. Since Ray sold the house and is living in his apaaaaaaaaatment, what happened to the dog? Was he put out of his misery. Where will Mickey live?
  23. I became a fan of CI while viewing it's reruns at the time that the very last season 10 episodes were airing. Over the years, I would see scattered episodes of the show over various seasons (usually seasons 3-9) on all the networks they aired on, including a L.A. area local station (Channel 56). This channel recently started airing the Season One episodes in order. I had never seen Season One before and I am shocked by it. Robert Goren is completely different...he is grinning, playful, constantly smiling, a little mischivous, laughing, jolly...he even takes chase after the bad guys a couple times. A completely different person than the sullen, gloomy, dark, troubled wreck that he seemed to be most other seasons. Deakins had moments where he was tense, testy and even lashed out at Carver a few times in season one, as opposed to the milquetoast doormat he seemed to become later. Very interesting that the show started like this and some characters took major turns in subsequent seasons. I found the Season 10 therapy sessions scenes excellent. They should have done a whole episode of Goren and his therapist going at it. That would have been great!
  24. Well, we had 34 minutes this episode before Abby showed up in a flashback!! Progress! Bridget's taste in men has hit an all time low. I think Avi and Frank were collaborating on the drug operation and Frank wanted Avi eliminated for some reason. Picking unreliable Mickey to do it wasn't a smart move at all. Tom and the woman in the car accident were former fixers of Sam Winslow who had dirt on her...something related to Sam's daughter's death she mentioned in an earlier episode. I think the box had the evidence/info that would have implicated Sam Winslow. That's what she "bought" for $3 million and the Oscar. So Doug (played by the bearded guy who was President Walker on House of Cards) had an affair with Natalie and is the father of her unborn child (not her sleazy husband) and is so fixated on having Ray find her. Let me know if I have any of this wrong...not the easiest to follow this season.
