  1. You forgot to mention that when JJ looked at the vet report for the dog bite, it failed to show the dog had been bitten.
  2. They can walk away from an area like the swamp because they know there is nothing to find there. They have talked a bit about how Dunfield came in and tore the place up http://www.oakislandtreasure.co.uk/photos/robert-dunfield-excavation-gallery/ http://www.crystalinks.com/oakislandmystery.html You can clearly see the cofferdams that Renstall's daughter mentioned when she wished them luck finding anything in the swamp I will suggest it's likely that any wood they are finding might be from Dunfield's work, put in to shore up the works. I did notice that the last couple of debris/sludge they showed being removed while they were looking for wood were very, very wet.
  3. It's available via Amazon Canada.
  4. It appears a lot of people thought the Antiques Dealer was a scammer https://www.yelp.com/biz/the-antique-roadhouse-norwood
  5. But the Templar Knights would have had to have some place to store their food while they spent months/years digging the money pit. They could have easily made room for the treasure with the potatoes.
  6. Yesterday we had another kitchen designer who encouraged navy lower cabinets, brass, quartz counters and herringbone white subway tiles--so their kitchen wouldn't look so cookie cutter. Don't the designers watch HH? those items are doomed to be the next stainless steel and granite fad.
  7. It would make sense to find the valve first--after all what is the first thing you do when you have a water leak? Turn off the valve
  8. Hopefully the man bun with a fade style will quickly pass out of vogue.
  9. I thought the worst problem with the Guanajuato lady and her friend was they were both poor actors.
  10. If the screens were like what we had in Florida, they are relatively easy fix, but there is really no excuse for not putting boundaries on your kids' behavior. Having four boys isn't the problem, having four boys with no rules about behavior is. There is also no reason a family with 4 boys can't live in a three bedroom home-two boys in each room works just fine. Having to have a a bedroom for each kid is a new concept. Sometimes I feel like an old lady shaking my finger and saying "When I was a kid....
  11. I imagine this season will end when the heavy drilling equipment reaches perhaps just a few feet from whatever their stated goal is-unless they are all tired of the show and just want to end it. Of course even if they drill down a mile and find nothing, there will be people who will claim they obviously are drilling in the wrong spot and the money pit has to be someplace else. Personally I thought this weeks guest probably the best realist they have ever had on the show. I thought it as pretty clear she thought the person who followed her family pretty much wrecked havoc and it would be next to impossible find anything in the cove, if not on the island.
  12. The contract they showed said the pictures and video would be raw so the plantiff can just take them somewhere and have the footage edited. The same for the photos, the green screen will allow them to put any background behind the girls, just like they do in movies. Again the contract said raw so I am sure there were numerous pictures taken, the plantiff just selected ones that weren't as good. That $400 'class for debutantes' cost those parents megabucks, the plantiff shouldn't have cheaped out on her selection of photographer.
  13. The longer they flounder around looking for the "treasure" the more they are going to make from the series.
  14. Of course you know that the hatch is going to be something like a root cellar but it will of course be considered a grave so the narrator can say " A possible Grave? Could this be a grave from one of the constructors of the Money Pit? Since it was located through previously undiscovered Templar map could it be the grave of a Templar Knight? Rick and Marty continue to explore the Templar Knight's grave for further clues about the secrets of Oak Island's money pit."
  15. And now because he wanted his minute of fame, the whole world knows he is a shop lifter.
  16. I love this show and couldn't wait for it to be back on! I had so missed the over dramatic narrator when he takes a hint of a connection and by the end of his statement stated it as fact. I love how every scratch on rocks that some expert seasons ago pointed out were caused by glaciers is still always a Templar cross, And then there is the map where at one point they point out as the date being the written out one thousand three hundred xxx and the next time they point out some roman numerals. Finally how in four seasons has no one ever mentioned that there was a hatch?? It's like spending years trying to break down the front doors and forgetting to see if the back door was locked?
  17. Just remember those coppertone, harvest gold, and avocado kitchens looked just as trendy in their day as all white, granite and stainless steel looks now. Kitchen fashion trends come and go but they have nothing to do with the kitchen functionality. Stainless became trendy because it was on high end appliances, now everyone has stainless in every price point. BTW, If you look at high end appliance sites, you will see the blue cabinets, even blue appliances so you can expect that that may be a growing trend that will start as 'high end' then travel down market.
  18. I would agree with you about Koop except I worked with a industrial nurse who could handle all sorts of blood but one day she pricked her finger and fainted dead away. She later admitted to me she could handle anything BUT the sight of her own blood.
  19. I suspect because they had nothing to lose by having the judge decide against them. They already took the rug back and gave the buyer store credit-so having the show refund the money is a win-win. They get back what is currently a very trendy rug they can resell, the don't have to deal with the designer and her client anymore and they didn't have to pay all the extra stuff the designer tried to charge them for. They just have to refund the price of the rug.
  20. Actually I looked up abrash rugs because I am a geek about new words and that is actually how they are supposed to look (except for the bit around the sofa, which I suspect was something spilled . http://www.rugrag.com/post/Abrash.aspx I suspect the designer didn't explain the 'look' to her client.
  21. Not only did I google goat poop but also goat poop vrs rabbit because my faith in the internet is that someone somewhere wondered about identifying poop. I was right http://www.pestdetective.org.nz/clues/droppings/clumped/ BTW I may be wrong but I thought people were claiming that it was goat poop because they had actually seen the animal do it.
  22. I went back to check, that was only Laurence's second leather coat--the other was in the team challenge. She has used that slit in the back with a pop of color in other outfits besides coats though which may be why there is a bit of a feeling of sameness.
  23. I really recommending going to Inkmaster's webpage to actually view the tattoos. They were really glossing over how bad some of those tattoos are especially Boneface and the one with the Canadian flag. The anatomy on Beaver's is just weird. I dare anyone to try to stand in that pose and the hand looks like it has a dew claw, not a thumb.
  24. I always take the stories that HHI tries to protray with a pinch of salt. The Manchester couple came off unlikable but was it because they were told they had to emphasis the dog and the dog's needs by the producer? Also since the leases are signed and/or the sales closed before the show is even filmed, the choices are totally bogus. In other words we don't know why they chose x property but it had nothing to do with the 2 decoy properties. HHI builds a story involving the 2 decoys and the true new home. I wanted to dislike the lawyer in Italy, he starts of as seemly rather pretentious but had the ability to laugh at himself. I suspect he had a lot of fun filming his footage and played it to the hilt. It was also mentioned that he also dealt with intellectual property law as well as art.
  25. Why the heck was an Animal Control officer there on the side for the Pig? If that was my community I would be PO'ed.
