I don't understand how Mitch would trust the medication for his daughter. For someone who is so smart, that was a dumb move. I also had a border collie and she was without a doubt the smartest dog I have ever known. My husband and I used to talk pig Latin around her because she learned so many words and would get excited if she heard one of them. I would love for a border collie to be the brains behind everything.

I graduated from a Catholic high school in 1972 and we were given sex education in our biology course. It was a film that covered the basic mechanical side of sex. It didn't seem to be a big deal at the time, but looking back, I guess it was. Of course, there was plenty of preaching in the religion class, about abstinence.

I think part of the problem with Burton was that the movies in the mid-60s were not very good. It was a time when the old studios were fading and the auteur movement hadn't yet taken hold. It's my least favorite era of the movies. Can you imagine Burton with directors like Scorsese or Coppola?

What I wouldn't give to see one more segment of "This Week In God" with Colbert. I hope Colbert is in the finale.

I always think of the Bush years as the golden age of TDS. So much material to work with: Mesopotamia, Cheney shooting his hunting partner, etc. One of my favorite interviews was Lynne Cheney. Very awkward.

The thing I love about cats is that their behavior is pretty much the same no matter the type. My little tabby cat has the same behaviors as a mountain lion or a tiger but on a much smaller scale. I know that it is my size and the supply of Fancy Feast that keeps from being prey! I love the lion cat condo.

I know TV adaptations can differ from books by eliminating minor characters and plot points or combining several characters into one, etc. But to totally change a major plot point is disappointing. I am also hoping for a book 4.

I read the books, so the ending was a huge disappointment for me. I don't want to spoil it for anyone who wants to read the books, but the book ending would have been a much better set-up for season 2. If there is a season 2, I won't be watching.

I always liked Whoopi until she made her comments about Polanski. I cannot believe that she would think that drugging and assaulting a 13-year old was not "rape, rape". I was stunned by her stupidity.

I loved his character in Ivanhoe. He was more of a grey hat who was redeemed by his love for Elizabeth Taylor. It was nice to see him as a more complex villain. He was the highlight of that movie for me.

I have the same problem. I tried to watch it, but I just couldn't get into it. I might have enjoyed it more if it was non-musical because I did enjoy the actors. Although non-one will every match Paul Giamatti's John Adams.

I saw a video of one a few weeks ago. I knew they moved slowly but I never realized how slow they are. I have to admit that they are kind of cute.
