  1. Totally agree. I might have been able to stomach a old drunk Hook, if he was still effective and actually helped Emma. I know everyone laughs at CaptainFloor in Season 2 but I always thought that Hook was very effective given how completely out gunned he was by everyone around him. He came closer to killing Rumple than anyone else. If Snow had any brains, she would have let Rumple die and crushed Cora's heart.
  2. My advice is to skip the episode. I hope A&E find cratering premiere ratings as funny as I find their wish verse. I'll probably watch the baby Emma scene on you tube and start watching the show live once the CS-age we are promised materializes. honestly, I cannot fanthom what A&E were thinking when planning this season. Does Lana have pictures of them in compromising positions? I like Sean but to spend any time on a dead character and lack luster relationship makes no sense. It's like a do over.
  3. just in case you don't know what jumping the shark means the moment that signals the end of a series because it is so bad an d writers are resorting to nonsensical ratings ploy. It comes from a long running show called Happy Days. One of the main characters was Arthur Fonzerelli (spelling might be off), aka the Fonz. To get ratings the writers pulled a ratings stunt by having the Fonz jump over a shark. It did not bring back viewers.
  4. I think Merlin actor was in No Tomorrow as a potential love interest to the lead.
  5. If the show is ending, it might explain all the cons JMO is doing. It gives her chance to strike while the iron is hot.
  6. If I were going to do reset (but not a remake) and had to cut cost and assuming JMO doesn't want to come back, I would probably have all the big bads escape from the hat. They would put most of the town in some kind of suspended animation. The few who are not impacted like Hook, Ariel, ideally Tink and others at sea would have to catch all the big bads from the land without magic in order to unfreeze everyone. Heck Rumple could still be the last big bad we hear about but don't see until the final three episodes as he is caught. Maybe he sets everything in motion because he loses Gideon and Belle. Eric, Emma, Regina (especially in my version), Snowing would all be frozen, so the series finale is the happy ending when the spell curse is broken and everyone is reunited, so there is hope. Most weeks the heroes would get closer to their goal as they capture another big bad or restore someone's faith in magic or something. We might see little kids realizing who they really are. There still could be flashbacks where the former mains could guest star but not every week, and we could see the Disney characters react to being in the real world. Maybe characters still in other realms might pop up to help occasionally. I am thinking about Elsa. This is also will make OUAT more of a procedural as well.
  7. I've been wondering what is going behind the scenes. JMO seems totally absent and spending so much time in LA. Now Bobby is also distancing himself from the show. Are they looking for new series? Are they unhappy with the stories?
  8. O is for obnoxious on-line interviews like the hot seat article.
  9. A is for Adam's nonsenical logic defying approach to writing, be it tweaks or inorganic character destroying episodes.
  10. Y is for the Yellow Bug. I just wish it was Herbie.
  11. I thought the sound might have interfered with the electronics. It definitely interfered with anyone holding a camera. Any camera held or directed by a person was likely dropped or no longer focusing on the pope.
  12. This episode was excellent. It was worthy of the premiere. I loved that Bennett is alive. I loved that Tomas became the priest I loved in the beginning. He found his faith. Marcus was amazing. I loved how he told simon that he was doing this for God. You could see Simon realizing that Marcus was beyond his ability to corrupt. I hope this show gets another season. It was well acted and well written.
  13. M is for Mary Margaret, Regina's greatest prop, or Doc's Mug. Yay Doctoberfest.
  14. Hmmm.... I was thinking things I dislike about OUAT. A is for Adam'swriting including tweets. But I'll play favorite props. A is for poisoned Apple Turnover that alomost killed Henry. I actually like Henry.
  15. At this point the only spoiler that would placate me is being spoiled that Regina falls into a sleeping curses and stays asleep for the rest of the season (who am I kidding rest of the series).
  16. Since the promos, sneak peeks and other OUAT site messaging seem to focus on Emma or Hook, I think marketing does that for reason. Why is Adam tweeting deleted Hook lines, because he knows Hook is popular, as does marketing. I don't care if old Hook is used like Deckhand Hook. I am not interested in seeing my favorite in ANY way marginalized to prop a Regina arc or story. A&E think turning Hook into a total joke is fun. I think it's crap. If this show wants my viewership Regina better be used like Belle in season 3 isolated from everyone and hardly on my screen, and the heroes get to be smart and good. I have no interest in Regina or Robin. I am done with them and any episode that gives Regina any attention. I want a true ensemble with the other characters.
  17. If Emma has to pay for a wish the evil queen made for her, than Regina needs to pay as well. Robin should be a zombie.
  18. I am not going interested in old Hook. I will be skipping the premiere. I have no interest in a show that only cares about Regina and sacrifices all the characters I enjoy watching. Why are A&E allowed to get away with allowing Regina to be the focus when the marketing seems to know she is not a draw.
  19. For me, two scenes: 1. Season2 when Hook told the princesses not to be afraid to really get into the fighting to decide who will accompany Hook up the beanstalk. That was one of my favorite innuendos. I couldn't believe the actor could keep a straight face. 2. Deckhand Hook in the background when they first encounter Snow and the dwarves.
  20. I think it is primarily the writing. Look at Emilie, I generally consider her a weak actresss but she's finally getting material that let's her show range and she's good. However, I think that sometimes the actors phone it in when the plot and their character makes no sense.
  21. I thinking of skipping the finale. Can someone tell me about Hook scenes so I decide if I should skip. That would be only reason to watch. Hearing that Regina kills snowing pisses me off.
