I was thinking the same thing. We are going to see Emma as a young girl who is different because she has magic. I think that Charnming's special relationship is with Kristoff. He's helping Kristoff adjust to being a prince consort, like he had to as Snow's husband.

It's better than crushing hearts like his paternal gramps, adoptive mom and adoptive grams.

I actually like him better clean shaven but I will be passing on this movie.

My speculation is that Since fairy’s have a long life, I think it would be ok for Hook to have a backstory with Elsa. I would like Elsa to have know Killian as a boy or teen to give us more on Hook’s background. I think it would be nice for Emma and Elsa to bound over powers they don’t control. I want Snow and Emma to bond over Snowflake. Snow and Emma both realizing how much they missed because they were not able to raise with their own children. They come to truly acknowledge that nothing can change what they missed, but they can forge a new type of relationship. Perhaps Emma can go to her mother/friend and get advice on having a true love relationship. This is definitely one area Snow would have more experience than Emma. I don’t want Emma or Snow to feel like they owe Regina anything. I want them to both realize that they lost their first born to Regina — meaning had it not been for Regina that Snow would have raised Emma and Emma would have had the resources to keep her son. It would be awesome if Snow becomes Marion's good friend and takes her side. Marion was willing to die to save Snow. I would like to see Hook bond with Henry over drawings that Bae drew while on the Jolly Roger. I could see this being a way to also explore Rumple and Hook’s relationship as Rumple would want to know more about Bae. I hope Hook's satchel is like his flask: his flask never runs out of rum and his satchel never runs out of space, so he can keep his momentos. Anyway, Rumple could overhear Hook showing Henry Bae's drawings at Granny's. Rumple could snark at the pirate pictures but fall silent when it is a picture of pre-dark Rumple at his spindle in their hovel. Carlyle could play a very strong and powerful scene. I can see Hook sharing not because he feels Rumple deserves to know but out of respect for Bae.

For me Dark Heart (Rumple and Cora) could have been the dark TL couple. They are well matched for each other and respect each other. If Cora hadn't chosen power over love, like Rumple did. They would have been scary awesome together. I don't think Rumbelle is TL any longer. That Rumple keeps choosing his dark power over Belle means that it is not TL. I wish the show would explore that.

Or if Hook's hand is there? In the Crocodile, he keeps the hand on display in dining room. So who knows maybe it on the bedside table Bell sleeps next too.

I agree with your post Shanna Marie. The other thing that bothers me is that Rumple essentially kidnapped Belle from her family. He coerced her to be with him. If anyone stole a woman, it would be Rumple not Hook. The other thing that troubles me is Mo is perceived as being wrong for trying to keep his daughter away from Rumple. If Belle was my daughter I would think she was under a spell and I would worry that she is being corrupted by Rumple. Everything Moe has ever seen of Rumple is evil. Rumple kidnaps his daughter, who he kept in a dungeon. He attacks his dukedom when he thinks Moe killed Belle. Even as Gold who is not under the Dark One curse, Gold beats the heck out of Moe. Than there are all the things Rumple has done to others. Of course Moe would want to get his child away from a monster. The closest modern day equivalent would be if my child fell in with a dangerous cult like the Mason family. I would kidnap my kid and try to deprogram them so they don't end up killing innocent people and living as a brainwashed slave to a psycho.

Completely agree. This whole rape culture argument is hard for me to take seriously because it seems focused on Hook who has been completely supportive of Emma, sacrificed everything he had for her, and has let Emma set the pace of their relationship. Emma, not Hook, is the one who has initiate all but one kiss and the one kiss was to help her restore her memory (and not to sexually harass her), while the really sexual crimes or domestic violence are ignored. If you want to have a rape culture discussion it needs to center around Rumple and Regina. This argument makes me angry and sad because it seems a calculated attempt to turn something fun and entertaining into an ugly thing. Hook is good for Emma. He believes in her and gives her confidence. That is a beautiful thing. I guess the writers will need to be very explicit when they write the CS scenes to make it clear to everyone that Emma was always into Hook and he was not forcing himself on an uninterested Emma. Maybe they can have a conversation where Emma admits that she was always attracted to him but was afraid to get burned after Neal's abandonment and Walsh's betrayal. It was clear to me and others that Emma was not bothered by Hook's presence. In fact she sought him out more often than not, but apparently the writing was too subtle for some. I wonder if the reason Oz con does not allow video recording is because the actors are tired of being bullied by these anti-fans.

I like Ginny and Josh. They are good actors and when given adequate material make that material better. There is so much that can be done with Snowing and to be honest I am far more interested in exploring their relationship with Emma, their old EF friends, adjusting to be parents to a newborn and a grown daughter and grandparents to a teenager and adjusting to having Hook as a potential son in law. I want to see them take control over the town. Snow challenging Regina as mayor. I would like to see Snow starting to lead again. I want Snow to get her groove back. The thing I don't want is more Snowing true love speeches, or more Snowing vs Regina flashbacks. I like the flashbacks but the Regina and Snowing ones are repetitive and make me angry because time could be better spent deepening relationships instead of retread. I don't want to watch Outlaw Queen. I find OQ lacking in chemistry and I cannot accept how quickly that relationship developed. I like Regina but I don't like her are the center/heart of the show. That should be Emma or to a lesser extent Snow. While I like Captain Swan, I don't want that to totally define Emma and/or Hook. Yes, I want to see the relationship continue to develop, but I want them to have other relationships and to be their own people. I want Hook to struggle to find a place for himself in StoryBrooke and to be ultimately successful with that. The original Hook like music and plays the harp one-handed. I don't see why Hook can't have a hobby or job related to music.

I don't think Hook was present or helped with the massacre. In the sparkly dirt scene, it seems to me that Cora has called Hook from place where he was preparing the Jolly Roger for travel. IIRC, Cora tells him she has something important to show him. There was nothing Hook could do to stop Cora, and taking her to a land without magic was a good move. Without magic, like Rumple, Cora would be vulnerable to anyone and was effectively neutralized. Unfortunately for Hook, Rumple would never give up his power (For me that is the reason he needed someone to cast the curse. He wanted to be able to keep his magic and find Bae.) and had brought magic to StoryBrooke. Anyway Hook is quick to deny that he had anything to do with the massacre and he has never been shy about admitting when he did something bad. In fact admitting good acts is harder for him because he can't show weakness without putting a target on his back. Admitting bad acts makes him less likely to be a victim. He freely admitted to taking Aurora's heart. In addition, Hook seemed to dislike Cora and tells Cora he would enjoy seeing her suffer.

What really damns Regina for me is that when she thought she had burned Snow to death, it changed nothing for her. She was still hell bent on a very misplaced and misbegotten revenge. Whereas, when Hook thought he had killed Rumple, he realized it left him empty inside. Regina kept going. As for Rumple, neither the Dark One "curse" or his childhood remotely excuse his actions. One, Rumple was still cruel calculating villain as Mr Gold when the Dark One curse would have been neutralized. He acts the way he does because he wants to and has the power to get away with it. As for his father's abandonment, it does not move me at all. His father was a loser but he wasn't the calculating little psycho that Pan became in Neverland. Moreover, Rumple was raised by caring spinsters As for Hook and Milah, it is hard to say because we don't know enough about their relationship, but my head cannon is that they truly loved each other and both were willing to die for the other. Assuming that, I think that Milah's heart would ache to know that Killian spent 300 years in Neverland trying to avenge her death, and that she would be happy that he is moving on with his life and finding happiness with someone new. If you truly love someone, you would want them to find love again. I don't think Hook ever reached/stooped to Rumple or Regina's level and appropriately targeted Rumple, not like Regina inappropriately targeting Snow White. I don't know that Hook did that much damage. He allied himself with awful people but he wasn't condoning or killing with them. Milah would not be disgusted by him. She would pity him because his quest hurt Hook more than it hurt others. I think she would be grateful to Emma for bringing him back from a dark place. Just as I would expect charming would have felt if he had truly died in casting the curse and Snow was left alone, he would be happy that Snow found someone that could make her happy. If Milah came back to life would she want to live with Killian (post Hook)? Hard to say because we don't know what Hook will do in StoryBrook. Hook needs to find his place outside of Emma and it might be a lifestyle that Milah might or might not want. It has also been 300 years.

Have you ever seen the Real House Husbands of StoryBrook? They are funny and one of the common themes is that Snow doesn't like Hook that much while David is all about being Hook's buddy. I like Hook and Snow together. She gets to be tough and he gets to be a swarmy in a very hilarious (at least to me) way. I would want that to stay. I can see them respecting each other but it would be nice to have some edge in that relationship.

Hi everyone, There is new Hook fic that I really like: A Pirate Carol, https://www.fanfiction.net/s/10464953/1/A-Pirate-Carol. There is only one chapter but it is a good beginning.

I've always thought that Pan would always twist the knife so to speak. In that, he would taunt Hook about his failure to protect Milah constantly. I would not be surprised if he sent him dreams about Milah's death. I always felt Pan would have kept Hook from moving on and that the nature of Neverland would also playing into that.

I’ve been thinking of a couple of things I would like to see next season, but I don’t expect to see them. 1. I want to Hook to develop his own interests/hobbies outside of Emma. The original Hook is smart, well read, loved music and flowers (last one is a little weird but truly canon; Barrie felt that Hook had a sensitive (feminine) side that gave Hook intuition). I would like to see this Hook to show more of his nature. I would love to see music and books being a passion. 2. I would like for Killian to have kept drawings done by Milah and Bae while they were on his ship. I would like to see him share some of Bae’s drawings with Henry and Rumple (kinda). For Rumple, either Henry would show Rumple some of drawings with Rumple or Rumple hears them watches Hook and Henry go through some of the drawings at Granny’s. Belle might even ask if Rumple can join them. I would like Rumple being snarky about all the pirate, pirate ship and even Hook drawings, but then get very emotional over a drawing of the old Stiltskin hovel with him spinning at the hearth when he was just a poor spinner with no power, but Bae’s papa, showing that Bae never forgot or stopped loving his papa. I could see Carlyle (sp?) play the hell out of that scene. I would then like it if Hook and Rumple talk about Bae and it deepens their truce. See for me, I think Hook would know who Bae as a person was, far more than Rumple. Rumple was too busy trying to secure Bae’s love and safety that he couldn’t see what Bae needed or really wanted. Hook could and Rumple would want to know what his son was like. You know I think I will write a fan fic on this. 3. I like Hook and Regina being frienemies. They are good together. The snark flies well between them and they have similarities. So the scene I would want is for Hook to ask Regina what she felt the morning after she thought she had killed Snow. Did she feel empty like he did when he thought he had killed Rumple? Hook may want to know to see how dangerous Regina is, but it is also a chance for Regina to show some regret and make her not so psycho.

This is my first post here. Here goes: 1) I totally do NOT get all the Jefferson love. I just don't. I thought he was creepy. I also don't find the actor that handsome. 2) Before OUAT, I hated JenMO or more accurately hated the characters she played. I did not like Cameron on House or Zoey on How I Met Your Mother. I almost didn't watch OUAT because she was cast in it. Now that I've seen her in interviews, she also seems like a lovely person in real life. Edited to be more precise, especially since I think it awful how JenMo is treated on twitter.
