  1. Have the show's Youtube videos stopped showing up in the Subscriptions page for anyone else? For the last few days, only one video ('Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard Reveal Why Family Game Fight! Is the "Meanest Show"') has shown up in my Subscriptions feed, despite them uploading them all the time as usual. I'm wondering if someone involved unticked the "Publish to Subscriptions feed and notify subscribers" box for some reason. EDIT: Just checked, and Fallon is the same. Are they trying to drive down views so people watch on Peacock or something? That's dumb, especially as I don't have Peacock in my country.
  2. The new season will air four episodes a week for three weeks, starting September 6th:
  3. I've been watching the show on Disney+ (outside the US, obv), and annoyingly, for the last few seasons, Toshi's English translations don't show up unless you turn subtitles on. It completely takes away from the jokes to have to rewind and turn subtitles on when he has a line, and then turn it off after.
  4. Stephen Colbert is Coming Home to Comedy Central: Anyone know what this is about?
  5. Airing June 20, 2021. https://www.paramountplus.com/shows/evil/video/xcElJ2opxxnYZLyPqqpxO4vnO8zvXIYj/evil-n-is-for-night-terrors/
  6. I think it's the stuff that usually comes at the end of the episodes, once the MOTW is wrapped up, pushing the season-long story forward.
  7. I'm assuming the big open air stadium with everyone spaced out was a pandemic decision; It worked well enough, but I wonder what the original plan for the episode was. I'm glad we're getting another season, and possibly one without the procedural aspect of the show? If so, I hope they still find a way to keep Ella around.
  8. The last few minutes of this episode reminded me a lot of a bunch of Futurama episodes.
  9. Stan's funny voice being a Peter Griffin impression cracked me up.
  10. Now streaming free on Tubi! https://tubitv.com/series/3322/the-chair
  11. The complete series is now on Disney+ here in Ireland, and I'm watching the early episodes for the first time since they aired 15 years ago. These early episodes do not hold up. Most of the characters, with the exception of Stan and Hayley, feel completely different, and most of the jokes don't work at all. There's a lot of very cringe-y jokes about Stan having people shipped to Guantanamo constantly, or just about foreigners in general. There's much more of a focus on Stan working for the CIA, instead of later seasons where those parts are mostly just treated as a wacky workplace sitcom.
  12. Yeah, Screenrant are not a reliable source for almost anything.
  13. The first five seasons are now on Netflix in the UK/Ireland!: https://www.netflix.com/title/80061132 The show's never actually been available in Ireland before, AFAIK. The UK channel it's on isn't available here.
  14. The main one is Evan Rachel Wood in The Ides of March, but that's supposed to be inappropriate. (She's a college-age intern, he's a political candidate around 50).
  15. Odd choice of example though; Clooney hasn't been in a movie with a love interest in a decade.
  16. Sarah Ramos was interviewed on this week's Busy Phillips podcast, and revealed that it wasn't her decision to leave the show. She was told her contract wasn't being picked up, and they used "she's going to college" as an excuse for the press. https://podcastaddict.com/episode/117414441 (About 1hr 27mins in)
  17. This video reminded me how much I loved the action in the first movie:
  18. They talk around it in the first one. She hasn't been with a man, and they're oblique on whether she's been with women: https://transcripts.fandom.com/wiki/Wonder_Woman
  19. Apparently in the original version of the ending scene where she meets the guy at Christmas he asks her out on a date, so there's a whole possible "it was all meant to be" thing going on, but it was cut after test screenings, leaving it feeling very weird.
  20. It's in cinemas internationally. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7126948/releaseinfo
  21. I enjoyed it, but it struggled to live up to the first one.
  22. The first three episodes went up at 12:01am GMT in the UK/Ireland. It's odd that we get it eight hours ahead of the US, but I won't complain.
  23. Really enjoyed the episode, it's a shame the show's off for two months already. I assume it has to do in part with a slower production schedule. I was happy we got to see so much of the background/supporting cast this episode. I love all the little tidbits we get about their lives outside the store.
  24. This is all up on iPlayer in the UK. It's four episodes of them setting up dominoes, and then it ends without anything happening. It feels like they got cut off with two-three episodes left, but I think this was just all they had planned? It all felt a bit pointless. There's also a weird disconnect where Laurie's character is clearly based on a bunch of far-right British politicians like Johnson and Farage, but they want him to be somewhat likable, so they give him positions that would never allow him to be a populist in the Tory party like being pro-immigration and anti-prison. As an Agents of SHIELD fan, it was fun to see Iain De Caestecker basically doing a John Hannah impression.
  25. Yeah, that line felt like something that they came up with on set, as it would have been topical at the time they were filming.
