I may be a bitch, but I am so here for Sander getting a taste of his own medicine from Griffin. Back to watching the episode...

Darcey and Stacey Live Chat Season 3

TLC should just show "Pillow Talk." -
Darcey and Stacey Live Chat Season 3

I still can't believe Stacey got rid of her perfectly nice teeth for veneers. The twins look about 10 years older than they actually are now. I wonder why that doesn't bother them. The daughters are lovely and seem to have a grounded view toward their mom's silliness. I hope they never have cosmetic surgery. -

It was pretty funny when Stacey got put in the Baby-Girl Lisa spot during the photo shoot. Gotta give Stacey credit for at least being saner than BGL, though. -
Darcey and Stacey Live Chat Season 3

They should have made D&S 1/2 hour like David & Annie and Loren & Alexei. Even at 1 hour, I only concentratedly pay attention to about 5 minutes total of D&S, during which I say, "This is crap" numerous times. And while D&A&L&A are likable, there's very little, maybe even nothing, likable about D&S anymore. D&S's plan to stay on TV has backfired, I think - the longer they're around, the more irritating they are. In Darcey's first 90-Day season, my sympathies were entirely with her. Not now. If the sexes were reversed, Stacey and the folks around Darcey would be saying, "Stop sleeping with Georgi and giving him false hope." -

I think the producers and the show set it up, because it seems the friends of everyone on the show rudely do this. American friends always ask if they just want to get to America - as if no one ever likes their own country even if it's not here. -

Hope you feel better soon! Jasmine has issues (possibly from abuse) and needs anger management. I hope she gets it. I also hope that guy banned her from the salon but he seems too charmed to have done that. I'm sorry about any abuse but you're not a puppy, Jasmine. I'm one of those who has empathy for Ximina. (Not sure of spelling.) She's a young woman with young children in what seems to be a desperate situation, but it's also wrong to use Mike. I hope they can work it out so they are all safe AND happy. -

I felt the same way when Gino and Jasmine got into it. The only time I'm only ever interested in seeing it taken that far is when I'm one of the people involved in it. Although it is fun to watch the Pillow Talk gang react. -
The kids take their cues from Robyn and Cody. If she and Cody were very matter-of-fact about, "Well, we're a big family so not everyone can be with everyone for Thanksgiving, especially now that some kids are adults," the kids would be fine, too. And she could add in some info about how everyone also has to make some adjustments this year because of Covid without making the others look bad.

Please tell me he didn't say something along the lines of "How to Raise Your Wife." Please.

I'm interested in whether Jasmine has any women friends. I find her constantly referring to other women as "bitches" alarming. Caleb is so good at handling people who are intrusive and rude. "I'll be over here" made me laugh, and last week he was very even-tempered with Elijah while letting him know he was violating boundaries. -
Human nature in all its wackiness. I've known a few married people who cheated who were or would be all "How could they do that to meeeeeeeeeeeeee?" when or if their spouse cheated on them.

I agree.

I'm old and sometimes look longingly at things in the supermarket that I can't get. People in AA call their sponsors when they get an urge to drink, so what's so bad about Jazz calling her mom?
-
I think it's important to remember Jazz was bullied throughout her life. Didn't someone call up and leave a message that he was going to kill her? Probably not the first such call since she went public. She may be able to speak very positively, but her muscle memory is probably "it's dangerous out there." She doesn't know anyone at school yet. She probably needs what are called corrective experiences, or something like that - not tough love or being shamed, but good experiences in the world. I had a very hardworking roommate when I was about that age, a lawyer - but she, too, was someone who just could not wake up in the morning. I would have to go into her room and shut off her blaring clock radio, which was right next to her head - she slept through it. I can sleep through almost anything (and I have) except my alarm clock.
-
I'm pretty sure Sander started last night's argument. As far as I remember, she was just fixing food and he jumped on her. You can empathize with someone without shaming them OR doing things for them. He's just bossy and a know-it-all; at least, he's edited that way. And she's only 20. I would have hated to have my 20s splashed across TV. I think you're right about the hormones. I also think the daily weigh-in is a bad idea. Weight doesn't drop that fast unless you're sick or starving, and the lack of discernible progress can make someone feel defeated. Too frequent picture-taking can be discouraging, too.
-
Strongly disagree. We don't need to beat people into shape. Let her find her own way. She seems to be enjoying working (possibly because she's appreciated at work, unlike at home) - let her do what makes her feel fulfilled, which seems to be working towards making things better for others. She could get a paycheck assisting in an office, which she's doing for free right now. Let her work and/or go to Pomona, if that's what she wants. And she needs - in my opinion, I'm not her - to live away from under her family's thumb.
-
I think you're right!!!!!
-
I don't remember the name, but it seemed more artsy-liberal Bennington-esque. Not a limelight school like Harvard, I think.
-
Seriously! Are they all psychotropic drugs? I'm not a doctor or a pharmacist but it makes me think: No wonder she can't wake up naturally. And have they looked into how those drugs affect the appetite?
-
I disagree. Sander is a pain in the a--. He needs to stop getting all up in her business. She'll find her way, like we all do - clumsily, with many mistakes - and then getting back up off the ground. But the way Sander rails at her, the subtext is all "Be perfect, be perfect, be perfect." That's the last thing Jazz needs to hear. The only thing you can ever shame someone into is more shame. I like Greg. He has the most realistic and loving approach. The rest of them need to give Jazz room to breathe - which hopefully she'll get at college. I still wish she had gone to the other school, though.

Annie and David, Lauren and Alexei? Is it another pre-teen song of theirs?
