Considering how invasive and nosy and trouble-making the mom and Chantel are, I don't blame River for wanting to keep it private. And even without those qualities, kids are allowed some privacy. He's grown, not a child.

I think the reason why, whereas I never liked the out-of-character intros, I did like the 4th-wall break at the end, was that at the end I was relieved to see them go. Especially Jonathan, who turned into a dick. The acting throughout was excellent but by the end I didn't like them very much as people. At the end, I actually liked her more than him, which was a complete 180 from how I felt in all the earlier episodes. They may be worse than Goldilocks!

Oh, swell, Jonathan ends up a doofus. I know it's deep and arty and European in origin and blah blah blah, but I'm sorry, what I felt mostly was "You shmuck, you know exactly how it felt to be on the side you're putting your new wife on." And I understand that what he went through broke him and as a theatrical piece it required a character arc. But still, doofus. Surprisingly to me, whereas I didn't like the not-in-character intros of the other episodes, I really liked the character-break at the end. Can't explain why, just did. I just had no patience for Jonathan despite having a lot of compassion for him in the earlier episodes. No matter how hunky Oscar Isaac is. Which is very.

I was feeling some compassion for Evelin, but I kept remembering the penis soup, too. They should call it even.

It was so worth it though to see Jesse from Grey's Anatomy!!

And what was up with the audience reacting to them like they were the most hilarious jokes ever? Aside from that, Kim was better than I thought she'd be and not awful for a non-actor. But the audience reaction seemed over-the-top all the way through, which makes me think the audience was coached or there were plants.

I believe she did say that. It's so easy to spot when TLC scripts shows. On all of the "romantic" ones - this one, 90 Day Fiance - people always say "He/She/You're the one." Chase said it last night about his fiancee. They must tell everyone to say it.

Why couldn't they put her in a twilight sleep during the egg removal if she didn't want to go all the way under? I had a uterine biopsy with nothing, which doesn't take long, and just that made me have to work hard not to kick the doctor.

Even kindergartners have homework now! I really think kids shouldn't have homework until middle school (that's how it was in my day, although then it was junior high - 7th grade). Kids need to go home and play. Play is important, too.

The rant at the end bothered me. I don't watch many influencers (I'm old) but how is it different than being a salesperson? And also, he's a comedian; it's sort of on the same level. It boils down to "I like to think up funny things and then I like to be paid for it." Now I appreciate comedians; I just don't see the huge difference. Entertainment is important - life would be hard without it. Entertainment has helped people get through the pandemic when we couldn't do anything else. I just didn't understand why he was picking on this newfangled thing the kids are doing.

After listening people comment that Amelia has been honest all along about not wanting marriage, I retract my statement in favor of her getting married since they can always divorce. What people have been saying makes a lot of sense, even though I feel sad for Linc. Sorry, Amelia!

What the f with Amelia? Has she never heard of divorce if it doesn't work out? Was she the woman Joey - how can I put this so it will be acceptable to the board? - did a different thing than intercourse or oral sex to when he was in some kind of study on "Friends"? I was trying to figure it out, too.

But they were looking at her ovaries, so wouldn't that have to be external? And I think to look at ovaries, you have to do that awful procedure where they make you drink a lot of water and then not pee. It's intensely uncomfortable and a major struggle not to urinate. I can't remember if it was internal or external; I just remember begging the technician to let me pee.

I'm not a medical professional and I actually don't know anything about PCO except the name, but why didn't we see any cysts since she has Polycystic Ovary disease? (I've only watched the last 2 seasons.) In other news, when Babs pushed her hair back she looked just like Whitney. And the food fight? Sorry, W. The only people ever who could do anything and have it to be fun to watch were the Beatles. (Plus, her brother was saving the rotten bananas for banana bread.) And the surrogacy discussion!!! It's like Whitney just makes plans and expects everyone else to fall in line. That's not life. They have their own plans. Maybe it's just the way her voice is when she's asking follow-up questions that's irritating, I don't know... Oh, and also - she called Buddy a liar! Nice way to treat a friend.

Can anybody explain to me why they want to look like their perpetually pouting? I hope TLC paid Georgi well for making him say all those derogatory things about himself that aren't true.

When they show their teeth, I think of a hilarious article The Onion did on cosmetic dentistry maybe 20 years ago. "Your teeth shouldn't be whiter than your refrigerator!"

I don't like the break-the-fourth wall intro. It's nothing new or novel and to me, and it's just kind of annoying in a people-did-that-in-drama-school-80-years-ago way. I don't start paying attention until the acting starts. Then I'm riveted - surprisingly, because at the beginning of the series I thought it might be tedious.

It's probably staged at this point, though.
