I think that may because she sets her expectations so high, and - and as Raymond pointed out, expects herself to totally change herself overnight - that they are things no human being could achieve at once all the time. I liked that he talked to her about not asking so much of herself. That way, she gets to be human. There's only one day available at a time. Of course if you think you have to turn yourself into someone else - and do it overnight - it's going to be too daunting and you won't even try. And I don't think Jeanette hovering will help. Kids these days can facetime or zoom their family, unlike going off to the wild at college in the old days, so she should just go home. Raymond said so many insightful things, I wonder if he's studied psychology or sociology formally, or if he's that observant naturally.

Loren & Alexei: After the 90 Days
JeanJean replied to Drogo's topic in 90 Day Fiancé: Other Spinoffs & Specials
In fairness, I think it was Alex who wanted another child right away. And he wants a couple more. They seem very happy to me, and still very much in love. I think they're a good match. And I don't think she's spoiled - for heaven's sake, she's had to deal with Tourette's since she was a kid. I think some of their drama has been staged anyway, just to have some kind of storyline. -
Darcey and Stacey manifesting...with Daddy's money. I actually liked Darcey and rooted for her her first 90-Day season. They're just such exhausting, materialistic people now. I'd really like to see them compete on Project Runway and see if they measure up on their own.

Darcey and Stacey Live Chat Season 3

WTF with the ridiculous filter on Aniko's face during the pageant? At first I thought she'd had some bizarre surgery like her mom. She's a cute girl, no filter needed. The whole thing just drives home how dumb pageants are. If it's for scholarship money, that's understandable. But just to be picked as "the prettiest" - not a good thing to let your daughter buy into. Hello, eating disorder. -
I don't know. I didn't know saliva tests were even an option!
-
Wouldn't they have had the saliva tests for the kids before, too?
-
Yes! I notice that!! Haha!

Or she should have dumped them in the yard with a note saying, "Ooh, sorry, we didn't wipe them down!" since he and Robyn seemed to have missed the update about Covid not living on surfaces.

S05.E07: Never Have I Ever

But he's kind of invested in keeping his place on the show and I would think he wouldn't to be like, yes she is and he's with her. We'll have to stay tuned, see if more comes out. -

It's like Kimberly and Usman were vying for the "who can out-coy the other" championship. -
I'm sorry, Christine, but when a man has multiple wives, he's probably gonna think he's hot s--t. (It's so much better if he thinks, man, am I lucky that ONE woman wants to spend her life with me. 😀) You all pretty much created a monster (but it's ultimately Cody's responsibility for being a jerk.) I'm so sad Gabe has Covid. He's my favorite on the show.

Also, what a baby. It was already in your mouth, Cody, it's just going back.

And also, this was during year 1 of Covid, when the whole world was giving up stuff. They could have foregone the nanny. And I probably wouldn't be so gloaty if she and Cody hadn't been so holier-than-thou about the rest of the family.

How many times is Robyn going to say it's not her fault but she feels bad? She should feel bad. She was allowed to have someone not in the family go in and out and in and out during the pandemic because for some reason with both her and Cody there, they couldn't take care of the kids?

Someone please tell Alina that it will be over when Caleb finds out what a racist she is. -

I actually thought this episode was okay. I liked Che for the first time when they were dressing down Miranda for putting them in a cheating position. I liked the Harry blow-job discussion with the trio. It felt more like the old show and "You blow Harry? Is it his birthday?" was funny. Miranda wasn't as dickish in her breakup conversation with Steve as I thought she would be, given how coldly she started. (But poor Steve.) All in all, it felt - except for the breakup - sort of like the old days. Especially in the trio scene. I hope it doesn't slide backward. And - it's bitchy of me - I kind of hope it doesn't work out for Miranda, just so she gets a little karma for running around behind Steve's back. On the other hand, I wish they had included Steve's reaction to Miranda's departure from strict heterosexual-ville. That would have been interesting to see. Might have been the most interesting part of the scene. Also, Carrie's lived in NYC forever and she can't sleep through noise?

I'm rooting for Jazz all the way. Why haven't they shown her how to do her own laundry before going to college, though? That's like Tasks-For-Teens 101. And Harvard's not the be-all and end-all. (It's stuck us with some pretty unethical and horrible politicians.) I'm thinking Jeanette may have at least a touch of OCD, after her reaction with the clothes dye on the kitchen counter and her inability to loosen the reins on Jazz. It may be she's lived on "high alert" for so long, it's hard to turn her internal alarm off.

In fairness, I don't think digital marketing itself is lame. All kinds of businesses need it. And not everyone can be a lawyer. We have too many lawyers already - that's why our society is so litigious. 🙂 (I should add, though, that recent years have made me far more appreciative of law.) The coolest, most important and essential profession is probably nursing. And I'm not just saying that because there are nurses in my family. 🙂 (I'm not one - don't have the science smarts for it.)
-
Digital marketing, I think. I could also see him doing documentaries when he matures. But he really needs to chill out about his family; he's projecting his insecurity onto them.

I loved Greg's talk with Jeanette. Wise fella.

Wow, how exciting was the ziplining. (I'm being sarcastic.) When your show starts featuring weekly activities that have nothing to do with the show, it's time to call it a day. Same thing happened on Outdaughtered when the quints got older. The only people who were interesting no matter what they were doing were the Beatles. Sander needs to learn that just because you do something performative, people (including family) don't have to pay attention to you doing your job all the time. Plumbers, lawyers, mailmen, engineers -- no one expects their family to come watch what they do all the time.

My guess is that their popularity on Pillow Talk is why TLC gave them their own show. David and Annie, too. -
Darcey and Stacey Live Chat Season 3

What did Georgi actually ever do? I can't think of anything. It seems like it's always been Darcey and Stacey accusing him of things that turn out not to be true. He didn't lie about his divorce, he didn't cheat on Darcey - what did he do that they're always ragging on him?
