I like Christian very much and he’s really good as a mentor. He’s saves each one of them at one time of another. He is tho very involved w the designs some times. Whereas Tim would tell them where he saw a flaw in their design and try to get them to think of a solution on their own ( that fabric reads a little dull, that silouette is similar to all your others ) Christian flat out gives them a solution ( pick a purple fabric, make a completely different bodice). Sometimes it seems like he is designing the dress for them! I find myself hoping for him to walk away quickly from the designers I am rooting against as I think he will save them. Love this game.... my girl is a bored rich housewife who spends half her day at the gym and applying make up. Her husband is taking her to a fancy dinner to make up for the fact he has a gf in the city and treats wife like a nanny/ household mgr . She wants to look hot so he doesn’t dump her for a younger model but dress can’t look too expensive, she doesn’t want to fight about her spending all night. She has an average to good body, horrible self esteem and will sell the dress at a high end second hand shop in a year because it will represent the night he told her he was leaving her and she needs the money now to pay for her lawyers.

I’m so glad there’s a forum for this show! I have loved this show long time but I have a real problem with the new inspector. His delivery is so weird, like a cartoon character. I think he’s a terrible actor! like Bunty but still miss Lady F and Syd!

My good friend, who doesn’t watch news or follow current events, proudly showed me 3 copies of Mika’s book she purchased. She said “ I saw this and recognized this woman from seeing her on your tv one morning! I bought these for my daughter and her friends that are graduating college this week!” OMG I INADVERTENTLY SOLD 3 COPIES OF MIKA’S DRECK! what to do?....

I never liked Cully. She seemed to always have a puss on and want to be the center of attention. And annoyed when she didn’t get it. And that episode with the reunion! She got more intolerable the older she got.

Wow I hope we don’t have to go along for all of this ride to Houston. She’s tedious.

For me it is her weird gestures punctuating every word .... for sentences after sentence that make her appear crazy, rushed and difficult to watch.

I guess I don’t know what a corset is. PRAS has the corset challenge in which, I didn’t see many garments I believed to be corsets. And in this episode Garonsaid he was making a corset but, appeared to me to make a belt.

Mika referred to the college admissions scandal as “horrific”. Twice. Hey Mika! How are you? You know what is “horrific “.? 9/11 was horrific. Plane crashes are horrific. Family separations are horrific. A bunch of rich people paying money to get their kids into a specific college is far from horrific. It has been going on forever, in one way or another. She seems like a nice person but so alone.

she’s so alone. No enabler bringing her food really. I don’t watch all the time but it seems unusual. Who is the woman helping her st the airport?

I haven’t been catching much of the show lately but I caught a few minutes yesterday. Was that a new set? The round table in a basement? Political memorabilia all over the walls? I don’t believe I’ve seen it before...

That was just odd. Like what? My first thought was this isn’t even a political news show anymore at all. This is just two people free associating, babbling about themselves. Then I thought is this part of his plan to run for office he’s now evidencing his bona fides to the evangelicals? Both could be true! Then I thought perhaps he heard these biblical passages at this mother’s funeral and they stuck in his head- which brings us back to point one. Also his recitation of the passages was stumbling and passionless. It was Mika- worthy oratory!

What is not gender neutral clothing? A frilly pink Disney gown? A three piece suit? By putting gender neutral folks into a fashion box of gender neutral clothing is kinda offensive and does not speak to the true nature and mentality of gender neutralism. By taking a trans woman and putting her in gender neutral clothing it denies her woman hood. Clothing doesn’t define the gender. Clothing defines how one wants to feel and present themselves that day. “Gender neutral clothing” is the most simplistic way to think of fashion for this group as witnessed by the guy who wore the ball gown w masculineish top to oscars is he gender neutral or was just feeling fluid that day? And stupid because jeans, T-shirt’s, button shirts, sweaters and coats to name a few are inherently gender neutral And stupid ugly boxy coats are just stupid ugly boxy coats

I understand they only have one day for the challenge, which is sad. Had Michelle covered her carpet padding in a beautiful fabric it would have been a winner. A sensory deprivation cocoon to wrap yourself in during tough moments that is also a beautiful garment may be clever and interesting. But a padded outfit made of carpet padding is just literal and ugly and itchy.

I’m watching bits and pieces this morning but it seems like pretty much Joe just shouting that his observations and opinions are better than anyone else’s and using trendy words ( Trump is using every trope. II don’t know. Yeah the food looked tasty and it was appropriate for a sporting event but man those are top chefs? Fried chicken, waffles, dumplings, burger w stuff on it? This was not elevated food, not gourmet and not impressive. What would the Voltaggio brothers have cooked? Stephanie or Blais? Hung, Kristen or Jennifer? This seasons chefs are not at the level this show has had in the past. “ you crimped dumplings!” And yeah I think the ribs should have gone home. I make ribs all the time like that. Nothing special at all. And they had additional help! And the winner takes it because he frenched his drumsticks. Ok. Great. That takes time but they had help! Way to knock it out of the park I know the judges said best chicken, best drumstick, tastiest they’d ever had. Maybe they were just really hungry or protecting the franchise but come on! It really seemed like Food Network level cooking.

I woke up this morning out of town and flicked on the tv. The sound came on before the video and I could hear a female newscaster reading the news. My thoughts, in order.... sounds like Mika’s voice. Great the Tv is already on MSNBC, I don’t have to find the channel. Wait the newscaster is reading the news correctly, at the right pace and actually perfectly. Can’t be Mika but voice really sounds like hers. (I look up and, in fact, it is a local mid market news anchor on their local cable channel.) That makes more sense.

Today’s rerun dessert atrocity-2 marshmallows on a skewer dipped in milk chocolate then rolled in crushed cookies. Enough? Because that sounds like sugar overload. No, not enough. Then dipped in white chocolate and rolled in another layer of crushed cookies. Have mercy!
