Didn't Michelle do the fist bump to avoid spreading germs? She was coming down with a cold.

I don't remember but it was when the right were gunning for Michelle for saying that she was proud of her country for the first time in her life.  So, they lost their minds over the fist bump and Elizabeth being their shill was whining about it on the show.

My wayback machine WTF: Meredith saying that her husband likes to have sex with her while she's asleep. I actually felt my jaw drop.

... followed by, Norm Macdonald coming on the show and telling Meredith she's hot enough that he'd have sex with her while she was awake.

More recently: Barbara announcing her impending retirement with a nearly show-long warm loving tribute to herself.

A WTF moment for me was Hasselbeck's logic:

1) reverend Wright once said, in a speech or sermon, "god damn America" (in context, it was an impassioned plea to be better)

2) Barack Obama attended that church, considered the Rev his pastor.

THEREFORE:   Barack Obama listened to Rev Wright, every week, say god damn America, and agreed with him.

I wished that the panel at the time had told Elizabeth about Isaac Woodard who came back to the states after fighting for his country in WW2. Hours after being honorably discharged while still in uniform was beaten so bad in the south by cops after being wrongfully accused of a crime that he was left blind and that was why Reverend Wright said "god damn America" in his fiery sermon.  Reverend Wright was also a veteran that came back home to racism.

Today's episode was a WTF moment and it reinforced my belief that Megan is not going anywhere.  Megan calling Joy a bitch with Whoopie excusing Megan's atrocious behavior including Joy who threw shade at the Talk. The only person who did not go along with the farce was Sunny who said that type of language has offended some viewers and Megan snidely replied that we were all precious. The irony is that this was coming from the biggest snowflake on TV..

Yup. I have said for a while that ABC must be loving all the hype and notoriety and publicity. All good. The View is in the news more than ever lately and we have Nutmeg to thank for that. People keep watching and talking about the show. They are thrilled with this turn of events.

I don't remember if it was the day EH had her morning after pill meltdown or another meltdown day but they had Chris Rock's mom on as a guest and after they did the intro announcing her EH stood up and looked to see her come on stage.  Chris Rock's mom was already sitting on the couch.

I wasn’t a consistent viewer at the time, but I remember Bill O’Reilly saying Muslims killed us on 911 and Whoopi and Joy walked off the stage.

How about Bill O'Reilly saying that Whoopie was jealous of his success and she had a meltdown saying that she was a big successfull movie star. It was obvious that he was being facetious, trying to get a rise out of her and Whoopie showed her ass that day. She is very insecure, despite her bravado of being a strong woman.  We started calling her the movie star after that..

Elizabeth thought she was being a badass and she looked like a fool.  Kathy was mocking her throughout the whole exchange.

How about after the split screen with Rosie, Alicia Silverstone refused Elizabeth hugging her. It was obvious that she was team Rosie, since she had witnessed the exchange backstage.

Kelly from Kelly and Ryan confronting Rosie on the air via a phone call that she was wrong to call her homophobic regarding Clay Aiken, Megan's bestie.  I thought it was Bill Geddie humiliating Rosie, Kelly could have done it off the air. It was a predictor of the split screen that was to come.

Barbara Walters dressing up like Marylin Monroe for Halloween and speaking in character throughout the whole show. It was embarrassing and it was really time for her to retire.  A part of me felt sorry for her since she only had the show to give her some type of happiness and purpose.  She has always had strain relationship with her only daughter.

Also Barbara constantly plugging her book, my goodness.  The ladies acted like it was on Shakespeare's level of greatness.

Rosie more or less outed Clay with that whole thing.  According to Rosie Clay told her later he wasn't mad at  her for doing so.

Rosie was wrong but it seemed like the show and Bill Geddie was gunning to humiliate Rosie by any means necessary. Rosie played right into his hands for the split screen madness..

He SHOULD have been! IMO,he was far more forgiving of her misguided 'defense' than she truly deserved! He should have told her he didn't need her 'help' and  to mind her own- publicly!

As much as liked Rosie she shot herself in the foot so many times.  When they were talking about someone who was Asian and she did a mocking accent I thought Oh Jesus she is going to get pummeled for this. And she did.

To take the spotlight off of Miss O'Donnell for the moment. I've never forgotten (or forgiven) Miss Walters for shutting down any and all non-worshipful POV's of Tom Cruise by telling the others that he was a 'wonderful young man' (compared to her) and that was THAT! Yeah, shutting down others' POVs on a show that was supposed to promote 'differences' is but one reason she would have deserved one or more of the other co-hosts skipping her final tribute show!

The time Kelly Osbourne was on and they were talking about Trump's immigration policies. She said something along the lines of, "If Trump deports Latinos, who's going to clean your toilets?" Everybody was uncomfortable. She apologized later, of course. At the moment though I was like wtf, Kelly

Let's not forget it was Barbara who spoke fondly of Assad, the president of Syria.

I keep remembering random wtf moments, lol. One time they were talking about being judged based on your name, particularly people of color. It was in reference to a YouTube video talking about "ghetto black names" (those were the words used). Raven-Symoné said she'd be "discriminatory" against someone with a name like Watermelondrea (her example) and that she wouldn't hire someone with that name. I remember being pissed off because 1) she's a woman of color and should know better and 2) it was just plain ignorant. On a superficial note she had the nerve to say that while looking like this:

image.thumb.png.381890a5f5a48837ec77b947d67bc602.png

Seriously though, it's a real problem for women of color - not being hired due to their name or their hairstyle. I remember years ago getting tips from a white woman and lawyer about appropriate attire for a job interview as a paralegal. I had long synthetic box braids at the time and she recommended I change the hair style because the lawyer at the firm was an older conservative white dude who would probably be put off by it (she didn't mind my hair at all, but it wasn't her firm).

Point being, Raven-Symoné was very often ignorant on the show. I guess being rich for so long makes some of these celebrities forget the plight of real people in real life...

How about Sherry saying that her son who was a toddler was getting erections because of Beyoncé and Rihanna. Poor Sherry had no idea that it is normal for little boys and baby boys to get erections, it has nothing to do with sexual arousal.. Sherry was embarrassing on so many levels.

How about anytime Sherry would say things as a joke about hitting or smacking her son during the middle of her custody battle with his dad. Whoopie would interject and at some point Whoopie told her she would no longer help her and Sherry got out of her seat and got on her knees and begged Whoopie to not do that..

Ann Coulter of all people called her out on her ignorance about names when Raven tried to come for her in a political segment where she was the guest. Ann Coulter was actually very good in putting her in her place..

Elisabeth's husband "played" for the NY Giants and she told the story about some kind of porn being in the locker room or someplace and she was absolutely adamant her husband would never look at porn because he had her.  I remember thinking how fucking stupid are you.

The time Trump and Ivanka were on the show and he said she had a nice figure and that if she wasn't his daughter, he'd probably be dating her.

At the time I thought maybe it was just a bad joke, but that man has made way too many comments about his daughter that make me uncomfortable.

Has Ivanka ever addressed any of them? IRC, she kind of laughed it off on The View.

Yeah, I think if you've never heard any of the other comments he's made about Ivanka aside from the one he made on the show, maybe you could chalk it up to him just making a really, really bad joke. But then when you hear everything else he's said about her... it's very creepy and weird.

Nope, as far as I know she's never addressed any of the comments. She did laugh it off on the show.

Hair Dysmorphia.  Speaking from a body dysmorphic person. Maybe its an attention grab?  To purposely be talked about. Oh wow.  Thats probably the first thing that a person with this true affliction hears. 'attention grab'.  Ive heard it myself. I jest but a lifetime of training myself to never look up at the sink, notice everything in the background but never yourself. No photographs, no mirrors, no reflective areas like glass.  Ok sorry to go so dark.....as you were. 🤗😽

Nothing wrong with saying your daughter is pretty or beautiful. But he goes on and on about her beauty, has said she has “the best body,” has always been voluptuous, joked about dating her, compares the women he messed around with to her, it’s all disturbing.

There was the time that Sherri said she'd be angry if her son was allowed to play with "girls toys"  at preschool - dress-up stuff, or dolls.  she was adamant that boys should NOT be allowed to play with dolls.  And she thought preschool/daycare teachers should understand and enforce that.

AND - remember Sherri being against abortion?  And then saying that before she had her "come to Jesus" moment about abortion, she personally had "too many to count".  ANd she believed that god forgave her, and that when she died and went to heaven, she would be re-united with all those unborn babies she aborted .
