What is reset?

Reset. Basically, eviction on Thursday becomes null and void, and they redo the HOH competition and, thus, resetting the entire week. It could end up the same HOH, or it could end up a different one.

A couple of times in the past (or maybe only once? I don't know for sure), they've had a "reset week," where essentially the week is completely nullified as if it didn't happen. The person evicted stays in the house and everyone just competes for HoH again.

It's a bullshit thing that was last used to save one of Grodner's favorites in BB14 (Frank), but since this season is a week long at the moment (there is more time than there is evictions left), it is a possibility that we get another reset week.

Too many people are good with Tommy. Too many people are up Tommy's butt. Everyone likes Tommy.

I don't know if Jackson would put Tommy up.

Those are exactly the reasons Jackson would NEED to nom Tommy alongside Christie.  Don’t want Tommy lobbying his extensive support network to save Christie?  Best way to neutralize THAT possibility is to have Tommy more concerned with saving himself.

Again, logical and I agree, but.....these houseguests have blinders on. Jackson may want to work with Tommy and avoid pissing him off so he doesn't nominate him.

Thanks for explaining, but do you think they’d do that after they know America’s Field trip was screwed up?

America's Field Trip wasn't messed up as far as they were concerned. It was simply a time-killer from their perspective, just like how a reset would be a time-killer.

Didn't JUDY-CHOPping the Reset button save Frankie in BB16?

Oh, I thought they knew America was annoyed the way it went and wouldn’t do a reset now, but maybe they don’t care.

Why is Nicole crying?

Physical exhaustion from the comp mixed with her mental exhaustion from having to vote out Kat?

I like Nicole (to a point) but she's too tenderhearted for this game.

Oh shit, you're totally right. It's hilarious how something as simple as calling it a "rewind button" instead of a "reset button" caused me to forget it!

If I were Jackson...?  Frankly, I’d be more focused on getting Tommy out than Christie.  Tommy has MUCH more of an in-House support network than Christie; Tommy’s eviction would be a much more significant note on a game resume.

Kat wasn't very nice on the way out. Didn't hug her.

How stupid. (Nicole, not you Cutty!)  I mean I have no problem with how Kat left.  She hugged the one person that voted to keep her, and said goodbye to everyone else.  I probably would have done the same, but people probably think I'm mean too.

It sounds like Nicole's crying about a confrontation in the storage room and how Nicole wished she had been more confrontational. It's unclear who it was, but my best guess is Nick.

Nick is such a sketchy fucking weirdo creep. How he's lasted this long is beyond me.

Sadly, being a sketchy fucking weirdo creep sometimes makes people be willing to keep you around, because they don't see you as a threat. See Spencer, BB15.

Tommy is totally going to try and throw cliff under the bus hard this week isn’t he.

But didn't Tommy just make a safety deal with Cliff/Nicole to ensure Kat went out?  Tommy would never go back on a deal like that! /sarcasm

Yes.  Yes he is going to throw Cliff under the bus.

I really do like Nicole, but yeah, when it's your fifth time bawling about how you should have stood up for yourself better, I start to lose a bit of sympathy.

I sympathize with her because she's basically me.

But it's also why I look at applying for Big Brother Canada every year and go "Nah, I'd be shit at it."

You know ... I don't know how the women of BB year after year seem to shower without washing their hair because of extensions. Like ... it's SoCal. My hair would have a funk factor smell after 1 day of no shampoo. Just now I'm watching Jess shower without shampoo. It's the weirdest thing.

Jackson/Holly finally alone.

Now to hear who he's putting up!

Holly protecting Nicole ❤️

Jackson wants Christie gone.

Jackson isn't putting Tommy or Cliff or Nick up, apparently?

So it might be Christie/Sis noms.

"Why not get EVERYone against me?"

He is such a moron. It's way too late in the game to backdoor people (outside of DEs, of course)

NOOOOOOO!  Just put Christie up.  If she comes down you can still get Tommy or Nick out.  Don't bet on the Veto for your move.

As an aside, speaking of DE backdoors, my heart is still breaking a little bit for the look on Brett's face when Tyler backdoored him last season. Such a sad mixture of hurt and confusion. Like seeing a puppy get kicked. And I'm no Brett fan, but that was still hard to watch.
