DoctorAtomic May 20 Share May 20 Good for Bob for being so chill about Tina going on with the UB. 1 Link to comment
tennisgurl May 20 Share May 20 Tina really showed some growth, she and Sam were really cute. Is he her true love after everything? Will she ever get that UB action? Will that cat ever go to the vet? I do love when Teddy gets to be good at his job, that basement restaurant did look really cool, but tragically it was not to last. Stupid bugs! Fun seeing Dalton and his friends again. Its also great to see this show again, its been ages. 3 Link to comment

I really like when the restaurant is popular. They should have charged more for late night. It's too bad they couldn't keep it up and just every few months open it up. The only thing missing from Trash Pallet Bob's was a Burger of The Day sign. 3 Link to comment

DoctorAtomic June 28 Share June 28 There's a kids burger competition over near where I live, and they showed some of them on the local news. One kid made a provolone, grilled pineapple, and bacon bbq. Another had one with guac. Easily burgers of the day. 3 Link to comment
ApathyMonger July 27 Share July 27 Does anyone know why Futon Critic is saying there are new episodes starting September 8th, but the new season isn't starting until the 29th? Are there three more episodes of S14 to air? Or is this just a mistake? http://www.thefutoncritic.com/showatch/bobs-burgers/listings 1 Link to comment
bilgistic July 27 Share July 27 My guide says September 8 is Season 14, Episode 14. 1 Link to comment
Galileo908 September 9 Share September 9 Neighbor: Only Markers in the Building Magic Marker Outlet Exterminator: Dazed and Confumed Bowling episode! Can't believe they haven't done one of these before! And it's a Rudy episode! "Rudy, Rudy. Breathe." "I'm bad at that." Mood. Louise and Rudy are such good friends to each other. And man, his dad is so wonderfully lame. He bonded with a woman in an Indian cooking class because they both had cumin allergies. Rudy is really overthinking the relationship. His dad is just okay and his mom and her boyfriend are just okay with each other and he's creating his own drama. Really liked that Louise was the one to come to that conclusion. We all know the dynamic by now that it had to be Louise on the outside: Tina never would've gone through with it, and Gene would've just been at the slushee bar. Really liked Linda loving her cute bowling shoes. 4 Link to comment
DoctorAtomic September 9 Share September 9 A Rudy episode! Well, his dad, but still. Louise was already worrying about him in the car on the way over. I didn't know Bob wore a size 11. No way Linda divorcing him. I wish they could do a flashforward episode of Louise and Rudy in high school. They'd probably end up stealing the prom. I was figuring Rudy's dad seemed ok after the first break. 2 Link to comment
tennisgurl September 9 Share September 9 Hooray, a Rudy episode! Although I guess I should say that that its also a Rudy's family episode, which is always fun to see. Rudy's dad really does seem pretty ok with the situation with his ex and her new guy, it seemed pretty obvious as the episode went on that Rudy was the one who was really having the problem. The way Rudy's parents divorce is playing out has been an interesting take on the "kid deals with parents splitting up" story, his parents are doing pretty well and keeping everything civil, almost so much that Rudy feels like he doesn't know how to handle his own sadness over what's happening. Louise and Rudy have the sweetest friendship, I love that she figured everything out. 2 Link to comment
DoctorAtomic September 9 Share September 9 I like that they're moving away from Louise just pulling schemes to be chaotic and then apologizing at the end. This scheme had purpose, but she shut it down when new information came to light. Early on, they would have had her just plow through it. 5 Link to comment
peeayebee September 9 Share September 9 Very sweet ep. Loved Rudy and his dad's conversation at the end. Linda to Bob: Your brain is just full of burger toppings. 2 Link to comment
Aryanna September 10 Share September 10 So why is this still season 14? I was thinking Rudy's dad has been single a long time but they're playing it like it's still a fairly recent thing. The Kids Rob A Train was over 10 years ago and Rudy's dad's single life was a new thing then. But then I realized everyone has been the same age since 2011 and they're all wearing they same clothes they've always worn so whatever. Don't overthink it. 1 Link to comment
DoctorAtomic September 10 Share September 10 Maybe the strike? There weren't a lot of episodes last year iirc. 1 Link to comment

Galileo908 September 16 Share September 16 Neighbor: U-Reek-A Soaps & Perfumes Exterminator: Bugger Off Dead Burger(s) of The Day: A Chard Day's Bite Burger, The Hot Bun in The Summer Thyme Burger Of course Gayle would qualify for a "cringey reality show auditions" show. I just love how she's animated running and climbing, and loved how her playlist is herself singing over the music because "she thought of better lyrics." At least she technically got on the show. I wish Bob didn't return the new grinder. He's right, he doesn't have lots of hobbies, but it feels like the new couch all over again. 3 Link to comment
DoctorAtomic September 16 Share September 16 Uh oh, Gail. Gayle. I liked that Bob had so much more free time from his electric grinder to make breakfast and be fooled by the kids that they're actually going out for an envelope. That stunt looked cool though. They got the original singer for the ending song?! 2 Link to comment

peeayebee September 16 Share September 16 Louise: There's always a scrappy middle-aged contestant who can do one-arm pull-ups or something. Gail: I bet I could even do TWO arm pull-ups. I was so worried that Louise stopped taping Gale climbing the bridge, that her climb would be all for nothing. I'm glad she didn't embarrass herself. So is it really spelled Gayle? 1 Link to comment

Galileo908 September 23 Share September 23 (edited) Neighbor: Maybe Driver Driving School Exterminator: Swat Flea Crue Burger(s) of The Day: Your Swiss is on My List Burger Bosco episode! He fits right in with the kids, he just does NOT pay attention, and would rather play Hide The Pickle with the kids (Gene.). Of course his job interview got moved to today, and the guy came into the restaurant. And of course here comes Teddy to potentially ruin everything. I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting this episode to be so tense. And then the ending was pretty anti-climatic. Louise (probably) solved a mystery, and Vincent found the pickle. "Dad, are WE a front?" "Louise." "Then you could flip each other off!" "Gene." “Buy a newspaper? What is this, 1986? Am I gonna see how Dukakis is doing in the polls?” Big LOLs from Teddy in this ep. I also love his one-sided rivalry with Mort. He doesn't want anyone sitting on his stool! Edited September 23 by Galileo908 4 Link to comment

peeayebee September 23 Share September 23 Like 'Maybe Baby' + 'Baby Driver'? Is that the pun? (I feel dense.) I really expected that Bob would have to go undercover at Vince's restaurant because Bosco couldn't learn. I like how it actually went. I love that Louise figured out the fingerprint trick and that Vince was the thief. Nice tie-in with the hide-the-pickle game. He seemed like a cool guy. And again the little animation things impressed me. In this case, it was how the truck was leaning over when Linda and Teddy were playing tug-of-war with the burger bag. 3 Link to comment
DoctorAtomic September 23 Share September 23 Bob sells beer, but you never see anyone ordering it. You'd think selling the beer would make up for the lower food cost. This was an interesting episode with all the action taking place in the restaurant even though the plot was essentially outside of it. Once again, we're shown that Bob is very good at making burgers. The guy even called him an artist. Bob is usually put upon, but I really liked him tearing into Bosco about how to make the burgers right. What I thought was a nice detail was, 'ok so you can make one burger, but can you make it the same 20 times in a row?' Even Bob was shutting down the kids when Bosco was explaining the undercover job. I thought Bosco was a little ooc for the sake of the plot. I would have preferred he still was guessing where the pickle was while actually trying to make a burger and not doing well with it. The whole point was that Bob knows what he's doing and Bosco couldn't just make a burger like Bob, but it was a little too comically bad for me. I would have liked Bosco to maybe over cook it, or just it was not quite right to underscore the point. His burger was just a mess. I mean, I could at least make a passable burger. This leaned a little too sitcommy for me, but I liked that Linda came up with the plan to swap in Teddy's burger while Bob, completely in character was losing it, and the kids, also completely in character, refused to go upstairs to the house. Louise was totally correct that the guy used someone else's fingers for the prints. I guess this was a weekend if they weren't in school. 1 Link to comment
Perfect Xero September 25 Share September 25 Bob's prices haven't changed since the show launched, so he's gone from probably being on the higher side of average for a small burger joint when the show launched to being an absolute bargain in recent years. 2 Link to comment
