ElectricBoogaloo February 13, 2019 Author Share February 13, 2019 Okay, no Michael Damian references in this episode but lots of Poison to make up for it! I loved both David and Alexis in this episode. David was brave and sweet to tell Patrick he should go out with Ken. I didn't see it as self-sabotaging at all. I thought he was being genuine when he said that since he's the only guy that Patrick's ever been with, he wanted to give him the opportunity to date someone else so that he wouldn't wonder about it years from now. I thought it was very supportive of Alexis to stay with David while he was waiting to hear how Patrick's date went. Her advice was sincere and she really did want to make sure that David was okay before she left to see Ted. And she's right - if all it takes is one hot guy to unravel his relationship, it's better for him to know that sooner rather than later. I really want to go to Bucky's Fried Chicken! I had to laugh at how awkward Johnny made it while trying to tell Stevie that he was happy for her and Emir. 1 9 Link to comment
PWHCHCH February 13, 2019 Share February 13, 2019 I realised a few minutes before Patrick walked into the motel room that it would transpire that he couldn't go through with it. He is too much of a good guy. "fuck off alexis" and " hey alexis, find a stick..." were perfectly delivered by David. Once again, second episode in a row, Roland was a piece of schitt. He had no right to deliberately look at Stevie's phone. Less is more. 9 Link to comment

TheOtherOne February 15, 2019 Share February 15, 2019 Commenting mostly because I love this show and it needs more comments, when I don't really have anything to say but gush. Great episode. I could watch David and Patrick hug for hours, because I'm a big cheeseball and they hit me right in the heart. 1 10 Link to comment
Enginerd February 15, 2019 Share February 15, 2019 It's a bit satisfying that someone agrees with me about shoes that are pointy but then square on the end. That was such a style for awhile and it just looks weird. It's like, "I don't want a totally pointy shoe that's obviously not my natural foot shape, I just want people to think I have the feet of a Dr. Seuss character." Not my favorite episode, but I love David's and Alexis's increasingly strong, supportive relationship. Why does Stevie put up with Roland? She owns the motel! He's the worst! 4 Link to comment

Ilovepie February 18, 2019 Share February 18, 2019 My favorite part was the speech Moira gave Jocelyn about not worrying about her age. It really spoke to me as a 46 yo mom who regularly feels like I’m still 26 😋 Plus, I’m pretty sure that was the impetus for the haircut, although not surprised that’s what she ended up with since she was getting a haircut in a CASINO! 11 Link to comment
festivus February 19, 2019 Share February 19, 2019 Loved the trip to casino. Thought Moira was actually pretty cool during the trip in her own Moira way. Alexis was sweet to stay with David. Didn't really care for them messing with David at the store about the phone number. Not after giving him a hard time last week when drunk Ted was the one who kissed him. Craving some Bucky's chicken. 5 Link to comment

QQQQ September 21, 2019 Share September 21, 2019 Speaking as a 49-year-old whose first concert was Poison and who has possibly gone to see Bret Michaels four times at various casinos, this ep hit a little too close to home. 🤘😎🤘 6 Link to comment
lovett1979 October 18, 2019 Share October 18, 2019 After my 4th or 5th time through Season 5, I had to come here and state my love for the David/Patrick (and Alexis) storyline in this episode. Let me count the ways: -While David is a little bothered by Ken flirting with Patrick, he's not overly sitcom-y jealous, and is actually a little proud/happy for only-just-recently-out Patrick -David's decision to encourage Patrick to actually go out with Ken flows very nicely from Patrick's "maybe" in the previous episode when asked if he was jealous of Ted or David when those 2 kissed. There is a longing in the way he says that one word that sort of breaks my heart. -Alexis stays with David instead of going to Ted's. Their relationship has come so far since Episode 1's "you get murdered first" fight. -Alexis' advice to David (that if 1 guy walking into the store is enough to unravel the relationship, better to know that now) is such a wise thing, that I think we all need to hear at times. -All the reactions and hugs when Patrick shows up at the hotel at the end. 1 11 Link to comment
Delphi March 23, 2020 Share March 23, 2020 I just realized that in the scene with Patrick and David in the store, there's a guy that looks like Antonio scoping out the merchandise in the background and then just leaving, that's clever. 1 2 Link to comment
