I don’t know what it is about John Mulaney, but comedically, he just speaks to me.  He’s so funny. I don’t know how he maintains the punishing schedule of his stand up tour (he was touring on the East Coast this past weekend) while also promoting the Rescue Rangers movie (which I must watch, having grown up with the Disney Afternoon), but I hope he is sober and stays that way.

I saw his stand up on Sunday and it was really good material that I think people will respond to when it hits Netflix.  Significantly better than Kid Gorgeous (his last special), in my opinion.

Bowen Yang, Ben Stiller, Kenan and Seth pop up in Bros (Billy Eichner also played an extra on SNL when he was a kid, so I guess it's full circle).

I always cast a suspicious eye on the true spontaneity of these things on Fallon's show, but nevertheless, that was kind of ridiculously awesome. Melissa is a little frightening in how well she does those. I had not heard her Julie Andrews before 😆

Jim Belushi talks a bit about SNL here and his friendship/partnership with Dan Aykroyd.

I liked Murder Mystery 2 much more than the first Murder Mystery, and I've been having a great time watching Adam and Jennifer Aniston and all of their interviews the past couple of weeks.  I think Adam implied Lorne tried to get Jennifer on SNL the same time that Adam was on the show, but she wanted to do the serialized shows instead.

Jennifer has spoken about being approached in that era, but telling Lorne she was unhappy with the boys club atmosphere and women not being respected.

Kenan somehow managed to be awake in time to show up to the Good Burger 2 panel with Kel at NYCC today. It was a real good time, and we saw the first ten minutes!

There was also a big booth that recreated the Good Burger from the movie. You sat in it and played a rhythm game about burgers against someone else, and you got a sweet Good Burger pin if you won. I didn't win.
