Speaking of Lala, I hope her mom stops giving her rent money after that reveal how she’s taking rent from mom and Herman and banking it. You want to milk your sugar daddy for all you can get, well, go for it, but don’t be taking money from mom when you’re a grown woman and don’t need it. Mom needs to save for retirement or whatever.

I agree but it seems like her mom has always babied and spoiled her so apparently it’s her own choice to fund her adult daughter’s lifestyle. Lala has mentioned that her family has money so perhaps it’s not a big deal for her mom financially. If I were either Randal or her mom I’d be telling her to pay her own damn rent, especially after hearing that.

For some reason I wouldn’t be surprised if her mom knows that Randall gives her money for her rent she doesn’t need. I just think her mom probably knows and Randall is the one who isn’t aware of the situation (or wasn’t until last episode).

If my daughter spoke about giving great blow jobs for private jets, handbags, and rent money, I'd be so ashamed and mortified.

Me three. I’m all about women openly expressing and enjoying their sexuality, but the idea of basing one’s self-worth and desirability on using this sexuality to get “stuff” is harmful, shameless behavior and detrimental to one’s self-respect in the long run. And then swindling otherwise gross/undesirable guys just to get this “stuff” is essentially using them as much as these women are being used for their youth/sexuality/looks.

LaLa and her ilk are enjoying the spoils of their game right now just because they’re young and hot enough to benefit from this behavior. But once she gets over 30ish and is still unclaimed, it’s going to get tougher and tougher for her to maintain this luxe life—-gals like her are a dime a dozen in LA and there’s always someone younger and hotter around the corner.

I’d say the time is now for her to sink her hooks into Randall to secure her future, but what an awful prospect for a girl like her; as soon as she has a kid and gets older like his first wife did, he’ll already be looking for her next replacement.

It’s an ugly cycle for the LaLa types, and you can already sense her underlying desperation with the early plastic surgery treatments and false bravado.

This is all very true.

Just when I think I'm starting to like Lala, she goes and says this kind of stuff. I know this sounds so old fashioned, but these kind of men don't marry these types of girls. They're more likely to try to find someone who's the whole package--beautiful, educated, sophisticated...He'll keep Lala as a side piece, but I'd be shocked if he wanted someone who speaks like this around his kids, or mom for that matter.

Raquel seriously doenst know the difference between ravioli and risotto?

James seems to be in love with Lala and is bitter that she has her rich boyfriend to take care of her. At least thats the vibe I am getting. I did kinda enjoy Lala more last year when everyone hated her. So I agree with him on that.

I do think Lisa genuinely cares about these people. She calls them out but still cares at the end of the day what these assholes do to themselves. Also these assholes seem to genuinely like hanging out with each other. Like the beach party.

I disagree - Lisa loves herself and her money.  Ken and Pandora too, and her dogs.  But she does not love these people, she can barely stand to look at them without a look of disgust spreading across her face.

It is really gross, and I feel bad that she feels like she needs to speak this way.

Also strange is that she is trying to pass this off as feminism.  This is the opposite of feminism - wave 1, 2 or whatever wave we are currently in.

Love your body, NOT love your body as it is used as an instrument to get a man to love you.

Also, love yourself and don’t think of your exceptional blow job skills as the most attractive quality you have to offer.

YES!  In general, that is good advise, but also - if she is calling herself a feminist, she must note that talking about how your body can best serve a man is the exact opposite of feminism.

I know I'm all alone in this...but I feel that if she wants to use her body to get his money, and he wants to use his money to get her body, and they both have agreed to this arrangement and they're both over 21, then it's really not my business. I truly have no issues here,. If she has no future with him, that's a choice she's making with her eyes open.  Maybe she knows that and is squirreling away the money now and providing for her future in that manner.  Not a big fan of him cheating on his wife, if that's what happened, but as far as their current situation, it's not for me to judge.  Do whatever you guys agree on as long as it's legal.  That to me is true feminism.

I have no issues with what she is doing, I mean - even if she was an actual prostitute, I would say go for it.  It isn't feminism, in any way, shape or form.  I know that there are people who believe that feminism can be "accept all my choices as I have made them," but it isn't.  I believe that people can believe in that, but it should be called something else.  Feminism already has a meaning, and it is about women's rights and equality.  Using her body to make a man happy, and get money is as far from it as one can get.

But I do think it's her right, as a woman, to make this choice.  That's what women's rights means to me, and that's what equality means to me.  That why it also meets your definition of feminism

I think she's using her body to make herself happy, not to make him happy.  Making him happy is the byproduct of her getting what she wants for herself.  If this was not her clear-eyed, adult choice, that would be different

I'm old enough to remember when we didn't have these choices, or at least those who made them had to do it furtively.  To me, having the choice is what makes the difference.  That's what makes it freedom.  And feminism.

But as I said initially, I know I'm alone in this.  That's ok with me!

I find all aspects of the sex industry reprehensible - porn, strip clubs, prostitution, etc. They all make me ill.

That being said, those are MY beliefs. I'd never deign to think I should force them on anyone else. As long as all participants are of age, I think it should all be legal as well. What you do with YOUR money and YOUR time is YOUR business.

But yea, I find Lala's behavior gross, so I don't like her, as a person. I'd just choose not to hang out with her, simple as that. I wouldn't go on some tirade against her. Live your life.
