There are a bunch of random actors I can't stand for no reason whatsoever, or for really stupid reasons. I just own it and try to avoid them as best as I can. Joseph Morgan from TVD/The Originals is probably my stupidest gratuitous hate -- I think his mouth moves in a super weird way when he speaks, so I hate him.

For anyone currently watching LoT, has the Laurel stuff been dealt with yet? I'm currently hate watching Grey's Anatomy, and am only flipping over during commercial breaks.

Yes. Sara can't save Laurel since the entire Lance family would just end up dead according to Rip. Lame reason, Sara's surprise presence would've made a big change.

And they just showed a new generic promo with Laurel in it.

In the original timeline,

Spoiler

Laurel, Sara, and Quentin all died. So I guess if she saves Laurel, she and her dad die?

Haha @wonderwall that's really upping the stakes.

On another note, if PB's time was limited in A422 because of LoT Finale, I'm glad now because those scenes were heartbreaking and genuine. They did do a better job of handling LL's death. From SL's initial response to the touching flower at the grave. All I have to say is thank you LoT for also removing time travel as option to bring LL back. Sad but sacrifices have to be made sometime.

The Hawks and Savage are gone!

Justice Society of America for Season 2 with Hourman. I didn't know he was a beloved character. Or maybe they meant the JS part is the beloved part?

LoT did handle Laurel's death. I do like that Rip said if she saves her sister, her and Quentin die. And that's all it took for Sara to not save Laurel.

Laurel tied Sara up and chained her like an animal. I doubt it was a tough choice to make lol

If ya can't handle the heat then don't play the game. Just sayin' (I'm definitely mixing up 2 different phrases aren't I)

Lol.  You are.  But I'm enjoying the enthusiasm.  :)

Sounds like the finale gave me everything I wanted except a Snart resurrection, and I didn't really expect that, at least not so soon.

Who the heck is Hourman? *off to Wikipedia*

So who wants to take bets that the BIG crossover is going to be Justice Society of America related?

I don't want to bet on it - but it is what I said would be the easiest way to do a four show cross over. They can have Kara be an Earth 1 Supergirl or Powergirl who arrived before Clark and is still too young herself to come out and cape up. I know that wouldn't be Supergirl's Kara but they can always have Barry and Oliver visit her later for a mini cross over.

Well if SL tried to save LL, all 3 would have died - so LL would be dead either way. There really was no choice to make.

Snart was in a bar in CC in 2013, so we did get to see him for a min or 2. Rory got to say good bye.

That seemed to be in the original timeline. Had Rip dropped Sara off on day of the big event, probably would've been a lot different.

So am I understanding correctly that Rip's family did not get saved after all?

That is accurate, and he and Savage had a TRULY awful scene in which Savage threw that in his face. Maybe the worst acting (from the Savage guy) I have ever seen on a network show.

He said he knew, whatever that means, that it was going to go bad, even if he sent her with the whole team.

Laurel's dead, dead, superdead, couldn't be more deaddeaddead.

Deadline sums up the departure of the Hawks. MG gets to use one of his favorite words again.

If he said "organic," well, I'm going to have to agree.

If by "organic" he means "Holy SHIT we effed up on casting those absolutely wretched, mouth-breathing, chemistry-free failures and are SO glad we wrote an out-clause in their contracts!"

They made the characters so 1-note anyway that it isn't a surprise that they wouldn't be inspired to write for them. They had Kendras entire story revolve around Carter instead of making it about her and embracing the characters very interesting history or JLAnimated history of being a spy sent to Earth.

I really, really wanted to like Kendra. Carter was always too blah. But I was so willing to try for her. Then they put her with Ray and I was still willing to try because she was all "I will choose my own fate" and the nope. I hope they do a much better job with the next woman they cast/introduce because I'm almost at the point where I'm ok with this just being a boys club with Sara in charge.

I can still get my strong girl fix on Supergirl.

Legends just got rid of the Hawks AND Savage! Oh happy day! The worst parts of the show are gone. They have trimmed what was not working, and kept what was working (except for Snart, who I will forever miss, but he will be coming back from time to time at least, and will be back on The Flash at least), and seem to be heading into a really interesting direction. Good job show. More shows in this verse need to know when to cut lose what is not working.

Plus, this was the first time I really felt the death of Laurel. Sara and her grief and her scenes with Quentin were very well done. It actually got me a little teary over Laurel. Worked a million times better than the awkward stuff on The Flash.

In the press release they put out this morning about the next season of LoT, they included Hawkgirl in the cast (they also included Captain Cold which I hand waved because he's supposed to be a floater possibly).  Obviously I understand why they might lie about her inclusion, but it now makes me wonder if everyone listed in the Arrow press release will appear next season.

I do wonder about Willa and Paul Blackthorne, mostly because I feel like their stories could be tied up in very final ways at the end of the season.  With both daughters gone from the show, Paul's ties are especially weak.

Or maybe they're going to off Emily and bring Earth-2 Laurel over from the Flash to be the new Black Canary, thereby ensuring her one true pairing with Green Arrow.

I'm KIDDING.

That's the thing, he's a perfectly fine actor. I think he kind of oozes douchey arrogance, but he is a fine actor. It's not him, it's me.

I don't think it's you.  I met him at SL Comic Con last year and found him to be rather cold and aloof which caught me by surprise because I had seen so many interviews and gifsets where he was cute and friendly.  He was the exact opposite in person.  I'm not a terribly outgoing person myself so I can't decide if he's just a normally reserved person or if he really didn't give a crap about being there but I'm not going to lie--it was a bit disappointing that he couldn't even bother to look up from signing his autograph to say "hi".
